I am of the homosexual variety and I came out to my parents. They said they were very accepting and were glad I trusted them enough to tell them my sexuality. Anyone else here come out to their parents? Aw, coming out stories are cute, aren't they? Depending on how they end.

Civilian Aircraft Accord is up for vote on our forum and the WA. Only WA nations may vote at the WA, but in Gay this year, we are allowing all full members to vote on how the WA Delegate votes for the region. 1 person = 1 vote (sorry, no multiple votes for clones).

Sushami

Since the WA Delegate has brought up the motion up for debate, I would like to take the opportunity to share my view on the legislation, and to urge a united NO vote on the legislation.

Urges member nations to ensure adequate security personnel are present on any civilian aircraft which is operating in or out of nations currently engaged in armed conflict, or where a credible threat to those aircraft is present;

I see that clause as being particularly troublesome, in that it is basically granting permission (and some could construe it as a statutory requirement) to place military assets on non-military planes which are protected entities under this same statute.

What if I decide that the 'adequate security personnel' required for a civilian aircraft is to have half the seats occupied by armed soldiers? Now instead of a commercial craft, we have a troop transport with legal authority and international support to drop hundreds of combatants into civilian areas, and all of it would be completely legally sanctioned by this act.

No, this is dangerous. It's well-intentioned, but like everything else done in the WA, it doesn't accept that there are extremists out there that are going to twist statute law to fit their needs. Until and unless that clause is given a hard cap on military assets and what those assets are allowed to do, I will be voting down the legislation and whipping this particular vote in the Region

Sushami and Equitia

There are some 12 WA members in the region who have not yet endorsed me. Most or all have been endorsed by me; if I've overlooked you, my apologies, I will rectify that when your endorsement arrives. Please review your endorsements to make sure you have endorsed me for the good of Gay. If you are deliberately withholding your endorsement, please TG me the reason why and if it's something I can reasonably fix, I will do so. Endorsements matter.

Some troll started a hour long Arguement about how I 'offended' his Faith by buying the Origin of Species.
Makes perfect sense.

I came out as a lesbian, and it went well, but then when I came out as trans a month later, my mom pretended to be supportive, but hasn't really been.

If he is truly offended, then his faith is a little thin-skinned. Perhaps he needs to stop seeking out things to find offensive until he is better equipped for getting over himself
