Yeah like he said Swastikas are illegal on the web-site. I would start by going over the settings and see if everything is ok with you. Also your Factbook. I would start there too!

Oh and welcome to Nation states and Europe.

Your newly created nation is beyond salvation, m80, I don't have a problem with Swastikas and your political view, but I don't think the admins will take it kindly, good idea though.

Swastikas on flags are against the rules...and just plain tacky as Hell. True Germany can return when it changes it's flag.

Look at Jenny booting the $hit out.

Shorts shorts are truly a divine gift from the gods

Certainly make it easy for you to kiss ass.

Did you know that Swastikas are actually ancient Chinese and Buddhist symbols? It means Peace and happiness. Today in Asian nations you can see these symbols in Buddhist and Hindi temples. (Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, India, Nepal, Laos, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia) Although, Buddhist temples in America remove the Swastikas in the temples and books due to the American feelings about the symbol. (American feeling toward the symbol is hatred because they dont know the real meaning of the symbol).

Well, Najibia, what is in fact the "real" meaning of something? As you point out quite neatly, symbols have different meanings in different cultural environments.
Moreover, a swastika on red, white and black background in combination with an imperial cross or "iron cross", paired with "Aryans" populating your nation and the SS slogan "My Honour is Loyalty" does obviously constitute a meaning on its own, clearly not referring to ancient Chinese symbols any longer.

And now let's get back to the true hoi polloi meaning of this RMB, sl§ts.

Yes, it's American ignorance...not 20 million or so dead Europeans who died at the hands of a nation marching under that symbol. I am a practicing Buddhist, and I am not so naive to think I can divorce the ancient meaning of that symbol from the more recent meaning. I would not wear or use that symbol out of respect for the people killed or harmed by it, not because I don't understand it's "real" history. I will continue to happily drop the hammer on any nation of Europe who incorporates it in their flag.

Thanks, Jens, finally somebody else who clearly takes a stand against what must be ban-/hammered.

A bastardised symbol of peace.

Germany's true flag is the glorious Black, White and Red.

I am guessing the red symbolizes blood.

Indeed that is its meaning.
I practice Shintoism and Zen Buddhism.

Huge surprise.

Red is also a communist color. Flags with a red back round are usually communist or socialist nations. But the red background has another meaning for other nations.

You are saying it wrong, its clearly pronounced fleg

Boot f@ck out of them, Jens, that's the style. Which gimp gave all the patter about the swastika? Even one-balled Adolf knew that, for f@ck's sake. Time to ban if a gimp demonstrates problems, with the grip! Jest sayin', Jens, jest sayin'. Sad that old Mitzy wasn't here to help our new pal with the f@ckbook. You missed a treat, Fritzy.

In the case of Nazi Germany, the black, white, and red on their flag was inherited from the colors of the German Empire. They were intended to emphasize the nationalistic spirt of the regime.

As far as the communist ties to red go, many of these are related to the bolshevik revolution in Russia, in which the "Red Army" (communist rebels) battled the "White Army" (czarist loyalists). Both are colors traditionally associated with Russia (as well as blue). Red, however, in some Slavic areas, is heavily associated with beauty - one Russian word for beauty literally means "red."

Red has also symbolized far left ideological movements across the world, even before the Soviet Union seized power. One example: the flag of the Paris Commune of 1871 was red.
