I, The Federal Republic of Naproxin, hereby declare my candidacy for the honorable position of President of the Legislature. I have adhered to the constitution unfailingly, and partaken extensively in regional dialogue. I will serve with effective and decisive leadership, and ask for the support of my fellow nations. I look forward to the coming week of debate and discussion

Crooked timber of humanity wrote:I, Crooked timber of humanity, hereby announce my intent to run for the position of President of the Legislature. I am familiar with the duties of the position and I have served as a vote counter for a number of our region's legislative proceedings. I therefore believe I have the necessary qualifications and would serve the region well.

Shouldn't the HK's have had access to sufficient research material to know Sarah Connor's middle name?

Few records survived Judgment Day. But when I was a vote counter, I made sure that every eligible citizen's vote was included in the records for the final tally. This is one of the reasons the region should see me as a reliable candidate and elect me President of the Legislature. Citizens, vote Crooked timber of humanity when polls open on Friday!

I, Scorpions Army nominate myself as head of dangerous experiments. All death row inmates in Capitalist Paradise will be transferred to Scorpions Army's military base 'Brimstone'.

Any findings from said experiments will be shared. Unless deemed too dangerous for common nation use. Experiments include areas such as inter-planetary travel, inter-dimensional travel, and weapons research. Also, if given enough death row inmates, cures to the worst diseases facing CP.

How would you even make voting mandatory, kick out anyone who doesn't vote? CP would lose like 90% of our population.

No vote equals conformation of republican leaders and a vote counts as a democratic parties candidate. That is how compulsory vote works here.

I don't think you can handle death when it is a spotlight.

It's all fire and brimstone stone for you. I just got a new drivers license from the DMV in Las Vegas. I had to let zombies chew on my neck for a few hours. The only cure for stiff neck is Popeyes.

Yes please, you can start posing questions to the candidates. How else are you supposed to decide who to vote for?

Reminder that the duties of the POL are found here: http://constitution.capitalistparadise.com/
If you are looking for a place to start forming questions.

Hmm, I might have myself a new trading partner.

Without further delay the polls for POL are now open. Since I am a bit late on making this announcement, the polls will close on Wednesday instead of the projected Tuesday. Reminder that only nations with 15 days of residence are eligible to vote. You can change your vote as well by resubmitting your vote to the vote counters. Questions and debate are still welcome on the topic.

The two candidates are:
Crooked timber of humanity
Naproxin

In order for your vote to count please send your vote to both vote counters:
Mortem inferre
The securities and exchange commission
