Open fighting has erupted on the streets of Cardalia this hour. Madrocean Gene-Supremacist Helixians have moved into Assembly Tower and are declaring an end to Madrocean democracy and a return to an empire. Surrounding Assembly Tower, a coalition of three security corporations, the UCBK-backed Allegiance Security, Vigilance Corporation, and Α.Ρ.Μ.Α.Δ.Α. In the surrounding neighborhoods there has been heavy fighting. Here in the wake of the Helixian advance, storefronts have been blasted out and shattered glass is everywhere. Casualties are amounting, but unknown this early. We estimate they are in the hundreds, possibly thousands.
