WA News, "Sex and Violence" Edition: General Assembly Resolution #16, the "Sexual Privacy Act" was repealed 12,262 votes to 3,397. Before you libertines start thinking the WA has become prudish, the argument for the repeal was that the resolution had legalized incest. There are just some things too squicky even for the WA, it seems.

Now up for vote is a proposed "Right to Bear Arms". It's a remarkably brief and simple proposal: it legalizes gun ownership in WA nations, essentially striking down any national laws banning such ownership. A bit radical, but you have to admire the plain language.

I don't have WA membership! But if I did, I would say no!!! Guns kill people! There's no good reason to have a gun!!

Why would you empower the populace?

Guns are best left in the hands of the police, to keep order and peace, especially during times of strife.

Also, why is incest squicky? Avoid pregnancy, and all the negative effects vanish. Incest is no worse than anything else, you bigots.

It's a well-known fact that incest leads to crop failure and sterility among farm animals, particularly if it's practiced by the ruling class. So, it's a good thing that resolution was repealed. As for the gun proposal, it was also a good thing it got tanked, it was really poorly written, despite the advantage of brevity.

Now up for vote in the WA: a proposal on the "Rights of Indigenous Peoples". It defines "indigenous peoples" as folks who were living on the land before the dominant culture arrived, urges nations to respect indigenous cultures in their territory, and most importantly, forbids forced assimilation or cultural suppression of indigenous peoples. We're somewhat ambivalent on it. On the surface, it sounds like a good idea, on the other hand, it may not be strong enough to offer the protections it's promising. Kawaiians have no stake in this argument. We were the indigenous people of our homeland, and following our Diaspora, have no other nation's indigenous peoples to worry about. After 12 hours up, the vote is running neck-and-neck, so we'll be keeping a close eye on the regional vote here; it's possible our Delegate vote could be a decider for once.

seraph of the end is a really good anime if you are in need of one i found it when it was on ep 4 and now it's on ep 9 and it's looking really good. good anime style good story line ( killing monsters/vampires).
