And when I first made this nation, it was a geographical area where vehicles disappeared for no reason, because I was 12 and the entire concept was hilarious to me.

'Fluff' is a concept in tabletop games to denote plot material. 'Crunch' is a similar concept used to denote mechanics.
Essentially 'fluff' is the mutable story stuff, 'crunch' is the hard numbers.
