I think it's also important to note that Mike Brown was 6'4 and nearly 300 pounds, making him a behemoth of a man, not some little kid. It's also important to remember that the police have certain protocols and training to follow in the event of needing to use guns to solve a conflict. In my understanding, the typical protocol in the US is to 'shoot to kill' or aim for the center of mass if you need to actually fire on someone. Maybe not something everyone agrees on, but I fail to see any controversy if race were not a factor.

Not me, since Canadian Thanksgiving is in October.

BBC can be pretty biased too when it comes to matters surrounding England. For example recent reporting on the Irish independence movement and the Hong Kong protests.

In the US, all cable news are biased with a pro Obama, anti Russian and Chinese slant. Worst of them is the NYT. Fox is famously biased but at least the bias is mainly in domestic news.
