Been there, done that, eeyup. Used to be 1/100 economy a while back, when I'd first started, and have diligently raised it to 70/100. You can do it too. My economy was literally as bad as could be.

Ugh I said that my country could use just a tiny bit of rain forest for uranium mining and now they're acting like it was a horrible idea. In real life, I love the environment, and now they're saying the environment in my country is truly terrible. Does anyone know a good way to get a better environment in their country?
