That is 100% allowed within gameplay.

South east indies

Hello,

Anyone have a clue how to raise nation populations?

Your populated increases at an essentially fixed rate over time. It is not affected by issues. It is, ultimately, a glorified counter to tell people how long you've been playing the game and when it reaches certain milestones you'll get to customise new things about your nation, like your pre-title (who wouldn't want to be an Etymology Shark?) or your capital city. Don't worry about it.

Ah I see, thank you for your answer. ^_^

The new WA vote pisses me off. The whole region was deleted and it's never coming back. What's the point in repealing it?? Although I guess you could argue that all the issues now a'days are terrible nonsense issues that do nothing and make no sense.

Wow, over 11500 nations in TSP; I didn't think our 9891 from May would be beaten quite so quickly.

What up South Pacific!

"3 hours ago: Aramanchovia was ranked in the Top 5% of the world for Largest Populations and the Top 10% for Most World Assembly Endorsements."

That first one was probably going to happen eventually, as I have been close for a while, the second one was a bit of a surprise, as I have 0 endorsements. Then I looked here:

"The South Pacific contains 11,587 nations, the 3rd most in the world."

Ok, that explains it, we got flooded with new nations again. Hi all.

Okay, for all those new nations out there, I've created a rough guide to the game and getting involved here in the South Pacific. It's a work-in-progress, to some extent, so let me know what else you think it needs and I'll try and work on it when I have time. You can read it here and it's pinned on the World Factbook Entry too!

But can you have our national animal, the fabulous llama, be marked as a protected species in all the other nations ?

OK define interests first.

Good job. We've needed something like that for a long time. I still expect people to ask those sort of questions here in any case, but at least it is somewhere else to refer them to.

How did you manage to change your country name to something other than the options (republic, kingdom, etc) on the setting page? Is it unlocked as I get to a certain population?

That is exactly what it is. You'll see various customisation options in settings and the population you'll need to reach before they are unlocked.

Yes, you gain the ability to edit that when you reach a certain population. I forget what the exact population is.

Can't wait. Thank you all!

page=faq

Why can't I set my nation's pretitle, Capital City, Leader, or Religion?

This becomes possible at particular population levels:

250 million: Your nation will receive an issue that allows you to set a Capital City in some circumstances.

500 million: You can write a custom pretitle in your Settings.

750 million: The Leader issue.

1 billion: The Faith issue.

If you dismiss the issue, or select a choice that doesn't unlock the custom field, you will receive the same issue again at some point in the future.

In The south pacific, what a limits for endorsment cap before get banned & rejected ? thx :)

210, and we're rather more lenient than The West Pacific, so you'll get warnings before being banned.
