Rainbow Flagship wrote:Looks pretty good to me, Montmorencia. What I think is important about flags is that there is a story behind them. If the story is good, it doesn't really matter what the flag looks like. I mean, look at the flags of RL nations, they're not all that fancy.

I couldn't agree more. If a designed fabric can influence thousands, if not millions to fight for it and what it embodies...then I would certainly say flags have had great influence on world history.

No, I just wholeheartedly disapprove of the conditions in which the animals are kept. And the growth hormones. And all the other things. I am just sad for the animals. I wish we could just have farmers that would raise and sell livestock. That would be safer and nicer.

Safer and nicer doesn't keep up with supply and demand. Growth hormones is so they can sell more beef, increasing the food supply and the amount of meat we meat eaters consume that farms need tons of cows which means no room for them to frolic and have nice cow things. This is how all things will eventually be, GMO's will be in everything if we don't want to end up running out of food. Bigger population needs bigger food and farmland doesn't magically show up. So any tricks we have to do. Have you ever wondered why organic produce costs more?

OK, I have started a FOOD FIGHT! thread on the forum, in which I'd like to see this discussion continue. Copy and paste your contributions thus far on the RMB into it, then let's continue with discussions on nutrition, vitamins & supplements, industrial farming, GMOs, organic food, environmental impact of feeding 7 billion people on Earth, growth hormones and antibiotics in industrial farming, and all the rest.

Whilst this is the reality of things, we still want to believe that the animals could've lived under better conditions before they are slaughtered for the purpose of consumption.

Repeal Condemn DEN" was passed 9,591 votes to 4,143.

Right to sexual privacy was discarded by the WA for rule violations after garnering 9,230 votes in favor and 6,187 votes against.

Promotion of Clean Energy is now up for vote at the WA and on our forum. For all the new folks, non-WA nations are currently permitted to vote on the forum for or against current WA resolutions, 1 player = 1 vote (multies aren't allowed a vote).

here in WV the state delegates are talking up "religious freedom act" which means bigots can refuse serve people for whatever reason they want, if it upsets their religious views. I'm thoroughly disgusted that I live here sometimes.
