(Those aren't asteroids they are remains of old ships from a wars long past)
(...)
We ask for permission to use the destroyed ships as parts for the gate.
"Only take what you need..."
"Thank you. We will try to be careful. However, have you begun salvaging these ships yet?"
You see Aaronian salvage crews looking through the wreckage
"Yes... Though most of those ships aren't ours..."
"Ah... From where we come from first one to a ship gets to salvage it."
Aaronians have claimed the entire derbies field a long time ago
"We have claimed it but we are willing to broker a deal with you."
He grins
"What kind of deal sir?"
"we are willing to give you a portion of the derbies field on the condition that you give us 20% of anything you find..."
"This is completely agreeable."
The admiral extends his hand in gratitude.
He shakes the hand
The admiral smiles.
"Once this is done, we can finally get news on the happenings of our nation."
"Good, good*
"Shall we go up and watch our forces build the gate?"
"Indeed..."
"Well, then take it away. This is your ship after all."
The ship moves to observe the constitution
"So... How large is your empire and how do your ships get around?"
"It spans multiple galaxies and our ships open ruptures in space to move quickly...
"That is quite amazing."
"Indeed..."
After some amount of time the gate is completed and the admiral begins asking questions as to what has happened in his absence.
The Aaronians set up a security check point just outside the gate
Nothing more then simple transport craft and the odd corvette fly through the gate. One frigate flies through the gate and lands in the waters off of the island we are currently leasing. Its captain briefs Admiral Carville on every major event that has happened including the recent assassination of our leader, the discovery of a few alien species, including this one, and that the nation now has a lack of an air to the throne.
The Admiral reads through more of the news to find that Z.A.F.T. is holding a meeting on whom will be the new leader of their alliance. "Oh great, I wonder who'll it be this ten years... Oh I bet it'll be Great Red Bears like every other time..." He sighs.
