Just how exactly did you set a burrito on fire in a microwave?
I'm going to presume it was frozen, correct? If that's so, the moisture content would keep it wet enough to prevent combustion. You would have to have left it in there for far longer than it would take to cook it to the point of it being edible (as edible as microwave burrito's are), since Microwaves work on the principle of using concentrated microwave energy (part of the non-visible portion of the light spectrum) to agitate water molecules to move faster than they are in their current state, generating heat. Microwaves on their own are harmless to everything unless there's moisture or metal present (in the case of metal, it would cause a spark).
You'd have to try pretty damn hard to set fire to something in a microwave.

So... this is a bit of a weird apocalypse. I've deliberately made sure that the reaction's a bit delayed. With every nation and their puppet out prepared for any kind of apocalypse, well I can't have those golems I made get shot down by military fire, now could I? So I had them infiltrate everyone beforehand. Helps that they're made to look cute too. The button was just a signal to transmit the signal to kill and wreck everything in sight until they run out of magical power. Assuming that my protocols are carried out, this message should turn to static right... about... *~bzzt~* *static*
Even with industrial kitchen microwaves (1500w to 2000w), you have to actively try to set something on fire, and even then, once you cook the moisture out of something, microwaves stop having an effect on it. That's why the glass plate in a microwave isn't hot after using it.
I'm starting to think it might've been a campfire. Or an oven. Or coated in plasma.
Kinda want to make a new nation, and make the absolute worst descisions on every issue just for the hell of it, to see what happens. Thoughts?

*A couple of days since the initial start of the apocalypse*
Day... uh... I forgot what time it is, all I'm doing right now is pulling a cart with an unconscious alicorn on it along with my little filly endlessly poking her with a stick in an attempt to wake her up. Whatever food I can catch is nothing but a morsel and there's little drinkable water to be found on this unbearable wasteland. Where ever we're going doesn't matter, as long as it's safer and that we're far away from the Gates of Tartarus(used to be home, but now it's a volcano) as much distance as possible or those things will kill us.

Hello everyone!! I am Fluttershy- of the region, The Grand Pegasus Enclave! How are ya'll doing on this fine day?
Yep, it's me in the flesh... whatever is left of it besides my skin and bones. In short of what happened before, we totally got destroyed in say 10 minutes more so and the basement's defenses got overpowered, letting out all the horrors slaughtering everything in sight. Later a volcanic eruption occurred, sky darkens to the point when/where you can no longer see sunlight, and the falling ash makes it hard to breath.
Now we're in the dark winter wasteland where food and water is scarce and is usually polluted while constantly stalked by monsters. Escape and survival was hectic, rather not go into detail, there were more survivors, but we didn't have enough to sustain ourselves, and we were starving...
Want some? It's a bit hard, but once you put in the effort in breaking through the chitin, the meat is succulent.
