It's an RP thing... the game allows next to no interaction between actual nations as such. In the RP, we have a lot of fun with anything from an international incident to supporting a government's military with "peacekeeping troops". Recently, we had a nuclear scare when one of my nuclear subs had to stop for repairs in enemy waters, even more recently, we banned trade with a certain nation due to a deal that's about 2 months old now (sorry again Femmi, btw).
If you have a lot of time to kill, read thrugh the RP in the last couple of months. A lot of great propaganda, tons of excitement and constant fear of war.
FLOAT ally => actual aid, not just influence gaining maneuvers.
I'd try to get his government into power, maintain order till the nation is stable, then pull out and start making deals for mutual growth.
I tend to help my allies a lot, neutral nations are the ones that really need to worry.

As for Feminamia taking a break, sorry to hear about that. It's just that while you were RPing an idealist, we were RPing the racist, greedy bastards that run our respective nations.
I think I stated this already, but I know that you all were trying to be in character. You did a damn good job, trust me! Take this as a personal compliment to your skills.
It's just exhausting to try and justify it in an RP sense when it never reaches through. I get it; Feminamia would be screwed over if it were in the real world. But this is a game where you get issues to ban cheese because of comics and shoot continuously at the sky because of the possibility of aliens. I thought a little stretching of the truth would be admissible.
You need to understand who you're roleplaying with in order to have a good time. A battle RPer is not going to have the same experience as a romance RPer. Someone who's more focused on building a world for themselves is going to cause friction with someone dedicated to pragmatism and realism.
I was not roleplaying an idealist. I'm the idealist. I thought a nation like mine could at least try to do something in the grand scheme of politics, but I was so wrong that it's almost laughable.
When it's constant, it gets tiring, so yeah. I'm gonna be on the forums mostly. RMB isn't gonna see IC input from me unless I really deem it fit.
