History

The emperor Ubre Allern the 5th founded the empire of Pressten in 200 BC, it claimed a large part of central and southern Anhalt Dessau. Due to the suppression of other cultures, the empire collapsed into 6 kingdoms. There are few records of 4 kingdoms because most records were destroyed by conquest and plundering. The Kingdom of Anhalt and the Kingdom of Mekliern are the only kingdoms where records have been discovered mostly undamaged. The two kingdoms had good relations with each other and traded a lot. In the north, the kingdom of Dessau was founded in 215 AD by Herlen Hohburg.

When Hanz Alten ascended the Meklian throne in 759 AD, the good relations between Anhalt and the Mekliern disappeared and a rivalry arose. In 775 AD, raids by Mekliern into Anhalt resulted in war. The decisive battle was the battle of Dransken, the capital of the Meclians. When Anhalt won the battle, King Hanz surrendered and Mekliern was annexed. This was the beginning of the quarrelsome period in Anhalt.
In 1600 AD Anhalt conquered the entire south and entered a peaceful phase. The kingdom of Dessau, which was founded through trade, extended its influence to almost the entire north in 831 AD. Through much diplomacy and trade, Dessau vassalised almost the entire north and founded the Empire of Dessau in 1248 AD.

When the two empires met, they got on well and helped each other in various domestic political disputes. Through their trade they achieved great growth in the economy. The famine in 1789/90 AD caused by root rot collapsed trade because the two empires had to deal with their food shortages. When a revolution broke out in Anhalt as a result of the famine, Dessau did not help because the emperor was concerned that a revolution would break out in his country. Anhalt became a republic in the same year. When the imperial family of Anhalt fled to Dessau, the revolutionary government demanded that the emperor be sent back to stand trial. When the Emperor of Dessau refused this demand, soldiers from Anhalt marched into Dessau. This began the war of restoration of the emperor.

Dessau was surprised because the advisors thought the invasion was unlikely, even with the demand. As a result, Anhalt was able to conquer territory quickly. By the time they had penetrated deep into the country, a line of defense had already been formed. Because most of the generals were from the nobility, they also fled to Dessau, which enabled Dessau to push back the Anhaltian army. In 1811, the capital of Anhalt fell and the leaders of the revolution were hanged.

The industrial revolution created further growth between the economies of the two countries. Finally, in 1882, the two countries unified under a dual monarchy.
After an economic crisis in the 1920s, the population of Anhalt Dessau split into the two extremes. When the emperor wanted to pass a decree banning all left-wing extremist organizations, the Spartjats tried to stage a coup to establish a communist regime. Due to poor organization and disloyal comrades-in-arms, the coup could not proceed as planned and a civil war broke out between the National Bloc and the Spartjats. As the military sided with the National Bloc, they won and Spartiate leaders were executed. When the Emperor asked for the weapons to be returned, the far-right organization called "Nationale Ordnungsbewahrung" (National Order Preservation) planned a coup given its powerful influence across the country. When the emperor appeared at the alleged "weapons handover", he was arrested by the organization and a far-right regime, with the party "NVPG", was established

Geography

Anhalt Dessau is located in the region of the Coalition of Independent Nations. Its surrounded by the Kaltsee with a coastline of 524.512,0 km or 325.916,64 miles. About 5% of the land is used for agriculture.

In Anhalt Dessau, snowy winters and moderately warm summers are typical of this warm temperate climate. With high temperature differences between warm summers and cold winters, these features indicate a continental und subpolar climate.

The environment of Anhalt Dessau has a very large variety of wildlife from lynx to lesser spotted eagle to porpoise. 19% of the land area is covered by forest, but the flora is also diverse. Islamism is strictly forbidden by the government, claiming the religion is threatening to the wealth and security of the population.

According to a survey in 2021, 92% of the population said that religion plays a "very importend role" in their lifes." Atheistic Germanism is the most devout group in Anhalt Dessau. The percentage of people believing in Atheistic Germanism is still increasing and a prediction says that by 2030 the percentage of the population believing in atheistic germanism will rise to 98.8%
