Regardless, congrats on managing to maintain such a long streak without any sort of password while everyone had one endorsement each in a time where raiding is as common as it is. Nothing but respect from me!
You should stick around, we could use some go-getters in this place. You've got potential.
I appreciate the offer, however I have other regions that I'm tied up with and I don't think I'd really have the time to give as much attention to the region as it likely deserves. That and the fact that I've never been an RP sort of person anyway, so I wouldn't really fit in with the vibe of the region.

Look everyone, we made the news!
Here on NationStates, delegacies change often. Whether it's because of a government change, natives deciding that there's a better option for the position, or r/ders seize it for gameplay, there is often a lot of change in this world. Despite this, there are many regions that have delegacies have gone untouched for half a decade, if not more. These are rare, however if you search carefully in the sea of delegates you can find some. Out of these, most of them are locked behind a password and all of the ones that aren't protected by a password are protected from a single updater destroying their streak.
Well, all except for one...
Less than an hour before update, Newer Lunar placed a clean that had been admitted into the World Assembly into the region of SPACE and absolutely did not forget to endorse the assigned replacement, Astronotia, until 14 minutes into update. Once that endorsement had been placed, it was only a matter of sitting and waiting for either a defender to spot the attempted bump and move in, the founder to spot the move and banject the nation, or the region to update and the streak to finally end. After nearly an hour of feeling fluffy and fuzzy (not in the good way), it became clear that help wouldn't be arriving and the original delegate, Xanthal, lost their streak of 5 years and 161 days. And it was snapped simply because some guy had just gotten done watching a pair of demon guard dogs be silly for nearly 3 hours and had a spare clean nation sitting around.
