Thank you! It's a modified version of a local town's flag down the road from me.

Nice seeing your flag around here, the real flag of the Confederacy right there.

Edit: Say, it looks like the Discord is down. I would love to chat with you like-minded folks some more, I'm sure of it.

Eclipse was cool. Around 80% totality where I was, so it wasn’t as interesting as 2017’s when I travelled to the path of totality. It did actually get darker by a bit, I noticed after I went inside for a bit then came back out.

The eclipse was neat, but where I was it was raining most of the day, so I only got to see it in intervals between clouds.

Who will be Trumps VP? I think he should pick his son. you?

well the Iranians finally attacked isreal. it seems that the Neo-Con Chicken Hawks finally got the War they've wanted since 1979.
But I imagine to their Chagrine the
Neo-Liberal Limp Wrists are currently

which son ? Jr or Eric ?

I hope it's Christie Nome (not sure how it's spelled)

Just going off the shortlist:

Byron Donalds and Elise Stefanik will likely parrot all of Trump's talking points if chosen, like a puppet.

Tulsi Gabbard and Katie Britt will likely be a VP for the People. I see Gabbard as well as Tim Scott as well as J. D. Vance trying to influence Trump to pass bills that promote increasing welfare in places like healthcare and education.

Ben Carson will be a token "educated black conservative" golden child for Fox News.

Marco Rubio is your typical Neoconservative, expect to hear more about Israel and Ukraine if he's chosen.

Doug Burgum seems like he will jump at the chance to give his business ventures tax credits and gives off greedy vibes. i.e. in it for the money

Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be a token "girlboss conservative" for Fox News soundbites.

Personally, I'm rooting for either Katie Britt or Sarah Huckabee Sanders. It'd be nice to see some Southern, Christian representation in the White House.

By the looks of it, this was a mere show of diplomatic bravado, not a serious threat. Iran is pissed off about it's little embassy, so it "retaliated" by sending some missiles it knew the Iron Dome could take care of, but still instilling fear in it's enemies. Israel and Iran both know this. If Iran seriously wanted to get into some action with U.S.-backed Israel, we would have seen troops on the ground by know.

Well, its been a while.

I hope everyone is doing alright after that shutdown

Will anyone else be watching tomorrow night's episode of Nashville's Grand Ole Opry? I know I will... ;)
