The Ursian Empire

Hyacinth, the high leader of the Ursian Violetists, stood in the courtyard of the Capitol watching one of the results of his people’s experiments. Several children taken from towns across the nation were in the courtyard practicing with Chrono-steel Staffs.

However the most noticeable thing was the same headgear used on Alex forcibly attached to the children’s heads as they practiced, taking the knowledge and time abilities of other Ursians to increase their own. Hyacinth looked on in satisfaction as he sipped his tea, soon the kids will be unstoppable killing machines, and the region would fall.

Stealth VTOL, en route to Sakiria.

Vision closed a reinforced case containing her gear and turned her attention to her team leader, asking him “so now that we’re literally in the air can you stop being so secretive and tell us what’s going on?”

“Ok pay attention. This is critical and top secret.” Creature announced to his team. “We have reason to believe that there’s a Violetist traitor near the Sakirian throne. Either Marie or one of her bodyguards have been compromised and are responsible for the death of Carlos. We need to find out who”

“You’re serious?” Asked Azimuth.

“Dead serious, the source of this info and our contact for this job is Alexia Jensey. The former Sakirian president and mother of Carlos. She still has WARPP clearence and contacted Roxas directly through a secure channel. Officially we’re there to help protect the Queen from the Violetist attacks. We do this right and we can neutralize the threat without even firing a shot..”

North Wing Balcony, The Citadel, Solitas.

Barnos was in a good mood. His mother was now fully healed and back to normal, and his father shut down Georgios’ plan to evacuate based on the mystery man’s unknown data disks. His father had been acting unusual concerning the man. He knows that father has been talking with him, but he hasn’t told Barnos a thing, or anyone else for that matter. He was just enjoying the view of the sun setting behind the mountains. At least until a certain Stigyan Royal interrupted.

“Barnos!” Cíelle yelled at him as she ran over to him with a wrapped package in her hand. “I’ve…been looking…everywhere.” She huffed as she pushed the package into his arms.

“Um…what’s this?” He asked as Cíelle pulled out an inhaler. After using it she pointed to the gift.

“Children’s peace day. So you get a present!” She said with a smile. Barnos ripped open the package to reveal a model Stigyan Mk3 Sentinel tank.

“Holy Bear…how did you-oh. FA3?” Barnos asked Cíelle As he admired the model. He looked at her smiling face and felt a strange fluttering feeling in his chest. While he didn’t understand the feeling, he kind of liked it. Unfortunately his feeling was interrupted by one of dread as he saw a red dot appear appear on Cíelle’s chest right over her heart.

“Get down!” Barnos yelled as he tackled the girl to the ground. No later than the two landing on the floor they heard a loud crack in the distance and the wall behind where Cíelle was standing fragmented from a high caliber rifle round.

“What the hell…?” Cíelle asked, trying not to panic

“Sniper, we need to get-“ Barnos’ words were cut off by a large explosion followed by automatic gunfire below them.

War room, The citadel.

Roxas and Viktor looked at a holo screen showing a map of The Ursian Empire and WARPP’s progress as Alex walked in with 2 mugs of coffee. Alex had noticed a few changes in the Stigyan ruler over the last few weeks. Ever since he was rescued Alex noticed that Roxas has been almost obsessive with the Violetist situation. His clean shaven face now sported a 5 o’clock shadow, he had bags under his eye, and his hair was starting to get disheveled.

“So I’ve heard your troops are closing in on Ursus Majoro. Do you have a plan to retake it?” Alex asked as he handed his new ally a mug of coffee.

“I believe I’m going to employ violence.” Roxas responded before taking a sip. “I’m going to minimize damage to the city and avoid civilian casualties if possible, but every single Violetist will die. Once we’re done with that we’ll kill their high leader, dump his body with his followers onto a giant canoe, fill it with chum, push it out to sea, and blow the thing up. Let the sharks have the remains.”

Alex looked around in shock and noticed Roxas’ graphic description of his plan didn’t phase any of the other. He noticed Viktor look at him wierd, then pull out a gun and aim it at his head. Before Alex could react Viktor pulled the trigger and a Legionary with a drawn pistol collapse to the floor behind him. Viktor then went over to the soldier and removed his helmet, revealing a Violetist infiltrator.

“About time they finally gather the courage to attack us directly.” Roxas mused as he went over to a terminal and pressed a few buttons, ignoring what sounded like an explosion by the main gate. “Fortunately for us I planned ahead. Radek, I’m activating defenses and the new toys, please give our guests a warm welcome.”

“New toys?” Alex Questioned, slightly nervous about how no one seemed to even care about the dead body laying in the middle of the war room.

“Last fall a rogue organization called Cyberdyne tried to start a war between WARPP and pre-WARPP Trashkanistan. When we took them down my people obtained blueprints for mechanical soldiers. Those blueprints have resulted in some prototype combat mechs. Prototypes that are about to be tested.”

Roxas powered on the machines as his Scroll went off. He pulled it out and saw a messege from Cíelle and his entire body shifted. “Our kids are in danger. Don’t worry Alex I’ll handle it myself.” He said angrily before his entire body turned into a cloud of burning ash and disappeared into an air vent.

Madrigal made it inside the citadel, however she was the only one. The rest of her people were getting massacred in the main courtyard by metal soldiers she hadn’t encountered in her timeline.

(To be fair there were several differences: WW1 never ending, The GU bombing that killed most of the Stigyan Royal Family, the Fall of The Winter Monarch and the death of Roxas at the battle).

She saw two of her primary targets running down a hallway and she junped in front of them.

“The Bear Cub and the Little Flame. Why am I not surprised to find you together.” She taunted as Barnos shielded Cíelle behind him.
“Now you get to die together too.” as she raised her pistol to them. Right as she went to pull the trigger a burning cloud flew at her and melted the barrel of her gun. The cloud of ashes materialized and Roxas appeared, and judging by the blue flames pouring out of his eye, he was furious. Cíelle immediately knew what was about to happen and pulled on Barnos. Once they fled Roxas turned his attention to Madrigal.

“You come into my home? You try to kill my daughter? I don’t care who you are, or where or when you’re from, but this is the end for you.” He said with malice as he broke a vial of black sand in each hand. He then set fire to the sand until they were molded into a pair of obsidian short swords. Madrigal drew her chrono-staff and the two prepared for a fight to the death.
