Because if there was then they’d lose corporate money hence why they blackballed Bernie 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Bernie couldn't get his fanbase to vote. It's not a DNC conspiracy. Young people are just sh*t at showing up to vote.

Also keep in mind that Biden and Bernie are actually working together creating teams of various individuals to guide policy for both the campaign and Biden's possible presidency, so even if you're not the biggest fan of Biden, Bernie and his wild and wacky compatriots are in the room putting ideas up, instead of being stuffed out and ignored like 2016

The South didn't care about State's Rights, they were more authoritarian than the Union, the only thing they cared about were keeping a subsection of humanity subservient to them. Southerners should give up this 150 year old debate that they keep trying to make, and maybe try and make their part of the US not a sh*thole. Everything South of the Mason Dixon line is an embarrassment to the US.

It is this is literal lost cause propaganda we let the confederates write their own history and they lied and fooled the masses, sure not every southerner was a slave owner but they knew what they were fighting for.

That’s some fair points, but I think that whilst Biden himself isn’t blackballing Bernie(because he needs the Bernie Bro votes), the DNC is. Even a Elizabeth Warren, someone who I thought was a staunch progressive, turned around and went for the establishment Dems after calling Bernie sexist.

I absolutely can’t stand Trump, and whilst I’m not a fan of Biden, I support him more but I don’t support him most compared to other candidates so personally, I won’t vote for him, even l if I know my vote doesn’t really matter. In the same manner, I respect your vote for Biden and understand your personal reasoning

Rhenvaar wrote:How did it get like this though, where did the promise of American democracy go? The founding fathers would be turning in their graves to see this monstrosity we've become.

I would probably say it was the Citizens United vs FEC where we allowed corporations and organizations to donate to political campaigns because it jacked up the amount of money Available for political parties to use as leverage
Before as long as your constituents likes you they would donate to you and vote for you and you were good
Now if you're a republican that leans democratic every now and then on something like say climate change your party will find someone to run against you and this new person will get a fat check from oil companies

Dont forget when Wilson won in 1912 because the high seat officials went with Taft while the people went with Roosevelt. That election was one of the worst in our history

You ever just look back upon your past and think of all the mistakes you made, have thoughts about the things you would change?

I have, I said and did stuff I wish I could take back a million times. I think that’s just part of the human experience, living and learning. The past can be horrible and looking at it from your future self, it can be uncomfortable but what matters importantly is now, not to live in the past
