Flores entered the capital building. Above him the sound of F-4 engines roared, explosions could be heard in the distance and near by. The rat tat tat of machine guns and the pop of other small arms could be heard as well.

Under his feet, the snow crunched, leaving the print of a combat boot. Then, he threw open the doors. Inside, one guard attempted to shoot at Flores, but before he could Flores popped his rifle up to his shoulder and sent two hunks of led into the man, he dropped his pistol and recoils back into a lifeless heap. The other guards met a similar fate. After Flores was done clearing them out in the lobby, he checked his M-14. It was empty, he examined after sliding the bolt back. He dropped the rifle and drew his pistol, and then advanced again into the hall.

He burst into the office of Jack Thomas. Inside, another two guards sat. Flores reacted quickly. In his reaction he emotionlessly raised his 1911 and put two shots into the first guard with a POP POP. The shells clinked out of the slide and the pistol kicked back in his hand. He then trained his gun onto the other, who was able to get a shot off. The shot however harmlessly hit the wall behind him. Flores put another few shots into that one, who twisted 90 degrees during his fall to the floor. He reloaded his 1911, and walked over to the desk, where none other than Jack Thomas was sitting.

"You TRATOR!"

He yelled and pulled a gun on him. Flores grabbed his arm and swooped it down, the gun away from him, and within seconds of doing it hit Jack on the head with the butt of his pistol. Jack fell into his chair again. Flores violently ripped him from his chair from the collar of his shirt, saying

"You think you saved Tanabon, eh? That Hawkins wasn't good enough for this country. Well,"

Flores said, and then slammed Jacks face against the window overlooking Seattle. Jack let out a grunt of pain, and his saliva flew against the glass.

"THIS IS WHAT YOU BROUGHT US!" Flores yelled. "You brought us nothing but death! I have had to kill my brothers in arms, lose my wife, and a hell of a lot of other things that no man should have to do."

Jack stuttered out a response to Flores "I...Did what was... Right for this country." He gasped out. "Your... wife was collateral... damage." He said under pained breaths.

Flores thrust Jack back up by his collar and threw him agains his desk, and pointed his pistol at him. The black gunmetals nicks and scratches gleaned in the sunlight pouring in from outside. He then thrust it into Jacks temple, and got mere inches from his face jack looked on in fear as Flores leaned over him.

"COLLATERAL DAMAGE?! Is this just some sick game to you? A morbid chess match?! Or are your ideological goals warping your own mind?!"

He backed up, and thrust jacks head down in a mighty push. Jack let out a gasp of pain at the thrust, and tried to stand up. Flores wouldn't have it, and thrust his head down again. Jack saw white for a spilt second as the back of his head bashed against the table.

"You know, Crow, from The sanada clan, at the Baby shower would make jokes about how Tanabonian power was determined, and would make finger guns. Well, turns out she was right: power does change with the pull of a trigger"

With that, Flores raised his pistol, pointed it directly at Jacks head, and squeezed the trigger.

POP

The handgun went off in Floreses hand. On the desk, was nothing but blood, and pieces of Jacks head. His mouth lay open, his eyes glassy and staring up at the ceiling. The red pool of blood sat on the table, slowly expanding. Flores then yanked his lifeless body off his desk, and shot the window a few times. Then, he thrust Jack out of the window. He plummeted a story and slammed into the ground below, amidst the fighting.

With that, Flores exited the building to make a speech.
