Minuda, Also known as Minudia (SR), is a large, diversified nation sitting on the Minudan Peninsula and surroudning territories within Mitsuri Bay, Anea.
Minuda is made up of many forested flatlands and rivers. The most noticable of which is the Karpachian river, which flows from the Mountains of Metalvia, through Cohorse, and out through the City of Kappa in the Karpachian Desert. Minuda is renown for it's diverse agricultural, and industrial economy. Using the Metalvian Mountains to extract ores that are then funneled into Minudia and Apriconia, backed by the ever expansive farmlands of Bruticus, Neuland, Fiefdom, and Magardia, with other notable agricultural and industrial centers in the other provinces. Minuda currently sits as the leader of the Organization of Strategic and Economically Aligned Nations, the largest alliance on SR.
Minuda is home to a diverse array of political parties. Currently, the largest political party is the Unilyst Party, formed by the merger of every single existing party during the 2nd Reunification War, the Unilyst Party stands for legal Monopolies that are policed by the state. It also encourages cultural unity and fair wages, and has been known to take over and collectivize failing industries while directly operating others related to state needs.
Second place is a coalition known as The Liberal Parties of Minuda. They stand for old-fashioned capitalism, the rights of all peoples, and decreased authoritarianism from the Government.
Third place is The Zombies, originally named that because the followers were seen as "brain-dead" in the town it originated from, The Zombies, while being a minority, have been able to reach the ears of many. They advocate for a strong Government that directly fights for the rights of all living within her. They believe that some industries need to be regulated, and that the people should be prideful for the nation they live in.
Up next is the New Green Party. A remnant group that managed to go clean, they are ultra-nationlist factions that teeter between being anarchists and the average day conservative. Although beaten down twice, this group attracts the younger generations like a moth to the flame, offering promises of a truly great Minuda that can mirror it's legacy of the past.
Finally, there is The Iron Ring. Not much is known about The Iron Ring except that it is made up of old-guarders, those who had been around and were seen more as figures of legend. Having stayed neutral during the Second Reunification War, these military men and politicians have become disillusioned with the idea of Metalvian Freedom, so instead their block exists solely to appeal to the Metalvian people. To remove the hatred and bigotry that has wafted in, and let the people finally rest without concerning themselves of the outside world, and dying trying to make their nation a part of it.
The Government of Minuda is currently that of a Parliamentary Coalition. The Unilyst Party makes up the biggest portion, holding 39.5% of the seats, they work along side The Zombies, who hold 19.3% of the seats. Their coalition is complete with an additional 6% of the Liberal party members still believing in the Unilyst Stronghold, which guarantees a solid 64.7% of the entire body. The acting Prime Minister, and head of the Unilyst Party is Alex Karpo, who himself was originally in charge of the Social Democratic faction before the merger.
Through Parliament, many of the Unilyst "Authorites" established in the aftermath of the 2nd Reunification War have continued their duties, often with changed names. Current Unilyst strongholds remain over military, diplomatic, and economic affairs, although other agencies like civil organizations, research blocs, and the Federal Court have returned to normal parliamentary control.
The economy of Minuda is diverse yet simple, with 47% of the economy being agricultural and resource-harvestation based. An additional 19% is industrial, and 12% being commercil. Tertiary industries control the remaining 22%.
Agricultural goods include staples, vegetables, fruits, and meats, alongside nitrogen fertilizer. Industrial goods are more consumer based, and are handled internally. The capital goods market produces largely manufacturing and agricultural machinery, of which almost all of it is used domestically to continue fueling industrialization. This doesn't however factor in the military industry, of which major Government-sponored corporations like Putonukk have dipped their hands into nearly every manufacturing sector in order to ensure access to the best hardware, materials, and military blueprints.
The Demographics of Minuda are rather skewed, being home to some of the most diverse populations in all of SR. The largest however have to be the Minudians, at 33.6% of the entire population. Next in line are the Minudans, originally called such as a slur, but now used to represent the unique cultural and genetic inbreeding that occured between Minudians and the natives in the souther peninsulas. They represent 19.2% of the total population. Metalvians are next, at 14.3%, followed by the Karpachians at 11.9%, and Magardians at 7.2% The remaining populations are large and diverse. They include, but are not limited to, Urgenchians, Sandrians, Fangtians, Partians, Timorians, Hatiians, Gardians, Germans, and Ptolmians.

1752: The Duchy of Capita establishes contact with the civilization in Waupun Island, basic trading and local settling begins.
1803: The Duchy of Capita orchestrates a treaty with the Waupunese, establishing them as a protectorate to increase Minudian influence in the region.
1884: The Duchy of Capita declares a war of Liberation against the Kingdoms of Greater Metalvia, several Minudian-led states revolt against the Kingdoms, joining the Duchy in the process.
1887: The Duchy of Capita signs the Peace of Maarde, creating the Kingdom of Minudia. Control over overseas territories increases with the official establishment of the colony of Waupun Island.
1888: The Kingdom of Minudia promises support to the Urgench Clan in return for acting as a shield in the Northwest. The Clan accepts, becoming a puppet state in the process.
1890: The Kingdom of Karpachia yields to an ultimatum from the Minudians, adding them to the Kingdom's outer ring of puppet states.
1986: After weeks of armed fighting between local Minudans and the military of Minudia, the Minudan Confederation declares independence and invades the Kingdom of Minudia. Following suit, the Kingdom of Metalvia and Karpachian Socialist Republic also declare independence, beginning the First Reunification War.
1986: Colonial control over Waupun Island disintegrates, to pre-empt a fourth declaration of independence, the island is granted Dominion status.
1986: The Kingdom of Minudia collapses under internal pressure. The reigning King, Jack III of House Capita is killed by Minudan militias. Desperate to maintain some autonomy, various outlying Duchies and Protectorates switch allegiance to the Minudans.
1987: After almost two years of war, the Metalvians concede for autonomy and join the Minudans.
1988: The Karpachian Socialist Republic is put down, ending the First Reunification War.
1989: With full support of the Minudan Confederation and control over all former Minudian territories, the Democraatic Fasciste Republik establishes the Republic of Minuda, lead by President Primus Victorian.
1990: The "DFR Regime" is coined as the start of the political repression and cultural assimilation begins.
1991: The Penal system is founded, seeing many prisoners sent to work, often to death.
2000: Primus Victorian is assassinated by a Minudian Nationalist.
2001: After a year of infighting the DFR collapses in on itself, Minudian control over Minudia proper is restored, and the Government elects Joseph Halendraff to lead the Minudian nation in junction with their own Kingdom of Metalvia.
2002: Joseph Halendraff appoints Eric Samwell as Prime Minister.
2004: The remnants of the DFR re-organize under Ryan Mikael, expanding their platform to the form of conservatism seen under the DFR Regime, they refer to themselves as the Green Nationalist Party.
2015: A secret band of Metalvian officers organize, seeking to overthrow the traitorous "Halendraffs" and put a proper Metalvian monarchy in charge.
2017: Eric Samwell is replaced as Prime Minister by a young populist, Alex Karpo.
2018: Joseph Halendraff is assassinated by a Green Nationalist working in conjunction with Metalvian Loyalists.
2018: Green Nationalist resistance breaks out across Minuda, the Metalvians declare independence under General Klanders, and Andrew Halendraff takes over the Minudian Republic, starting the 2nd Reunification War.
2018: Fearing further political division, Andrew Halendraff orders the Prime Minister, Alex Karpo, to consolidate all political parties into one group, the resulting chimera of political ideologies is known as the Unilyst Party.
2019: The Metalvian army collapses, and order is restored.
2019: Andrew Halendraff attempts to assassinate the Prime Minister, Alex Karpo, and the rest of Parliament in order to create an autocracy. Alex Karpo survives and stops the massacre with aid of Putonukk.
2020: Deciding to maintain the Unilyst Dictatorship, the Reconstruction Authority begins.
2024: Alex Karpo disbands the Unilyst Dictatorship, ending the Reconstruction era and allows democracy to return to Minuda.
2024: The Unilyst Party, now properly defined, still maintains leadership in the Parliament, working alongside two other parties to maintain control over the Government.
