Toshovoan Government Declares Bankruptcy

(Loncsev, Toshavo) - The worsening economic crisis in Toshavo has taken its toll on the nation's federal government. Due to failure of multiple large banks; and the total bailout of the nation's economy by OSEAN, the government can no longer pay its own debt and has defaulted on it.

In an emergency address by Prime Minister Dyrchenkov, he states "The failure to extend the debt ceiling has triggered a major financial rebalancing. Our federal institutions, and even international organizations recognize that we simply do not have enough money to cover our ever growing budget deficits. The economic crisis has not only affected our people... but our government."

"We must now put our faith and trust into the hands of OSEAN. While this unprecedented transition is not of our own interests, and while our administration initially did not want any international intervention, especially by a foreign entity; we realize that if our domestic situation cannot be solved domestically, we must turn to our allies."

"I have felt the anger amongst our citizens, workers and even our lawmakers. They too have suffered by our nation's losses. But... I must assure you: we can and must prevail in this present crisis. Our great nation has in the past has dealt with and preserved through even the most challenging obstacles... of war, political instability, military conflicts and disease. And we have not doubted our resolve yet, and never will!"

With this immense blow to the Toshavoan economy, experts say this is just the beginning of an even larger economic downturn to affect the rest of the world. Treasury Minister Jeorg Kuvakov states that "When, in time Osea's currency collapses, this will send shockwaves throughout Strangereal. We must now brace for implications of this event."

Sarko-Roctainian Ship Sunk

(Okusha, SRU) - Astonishingly, an unknown entity sunk the Anocratic nation of the Sarko-Roctanian Union’s infamous SRU Insimpi. The ship was acclaimed for being used in many battles, hence its honorable status and infamy. However, one last sail before its retirement, the steel hulk was obliterated by an array of explosives.

“This was not just a shelling on our ship... the SRU Insimpi, but an attack on all Sarko-Roctanians...” retaliated patriotic Jeffrey Smith, worker at Cy-Tech, an information-technology organization.

“Today marks a... declaration of war by the terrorists of our world!” preached Alex Wazir, 5th right-wing senator of the state of Columbia.

In an address to the situation, Dao Phan, military expert and president (2018-) said this, “... Our nation has rode the waves of an unsteady ship for far too long. Obviously, the loose reigns of democracy would only cower in response to the disaster that has shook us. I say not! We will uncover who these crude and absurd barbarians are; while removing them from the face of this earth. Our military presence will crush the murderers that dare harbor the will to kill our citizens. Thank you.”

As stated, citizens—Sarko-Roctanians—did die, approximately 106-112 perished as a result of the horrid incident.

Rallying to their leader’s cry, the nation has united—in spite of diversity demographics—to take action and mobilize against the unknown threat. Furthermore, the Vice President voiced, “... war would be a necessity to end the provoked terror...”

Catholic Afrikan Revolution Looms?

(Harela, Catholic African Republic) - For several days a diplomatic mission was made to The Syca in an attempt to secure Warsaw Pact support and membership status. However, the rising instability and protests in Saint Valentines Square gave the impression that the Afrikan government could not survive, and their delegation was sent back empty-handed.

In other news, there appear to be rumors that some pieces of the army are going to defect to the rebel side. Rebels have been all over the Catholic African Republic. Some have defected from the Catholic Afrikan Army and have joined the rebels in fighting. Some just joined from their homes.

After the Catholic Afrikan Republic failed to capture Warsaw Pact Membership, the likelihood of the Catholic African Republic to fall is high. Rebels have been preparing a siege to take back their republic after fascism ideologies took over.

A tank division has been sent to support infantry who are fighting rebels held up inside of the Saint Valentines post office. However, reports from the Catholic Afrikan Defense Ministry suggest that the tank division commander has, in fact, went over to the rebel side.

Collapse for the Catholic Afrikan Republic may seem imminent with no alliance to back them up. Another African Republic, the African Caribbean Republic of Deerfenland, had its Minister of War openly endorse the Afrikan Rebels and their fight through the Catholic African Republic.

Havens League War Games Continue

(St. Constantine, Brittania) - Just off the continent of South Osea, a new conflict has broken out between the nations of Haradren and Minoska. The causes of the war are extremely suspicious and appear to be a failed attempt to hide imperialist ambitions by the Minoska government to take over and control the nation of Haradren.

In hopes of aid, the nation of Haradren has appealed to the Alliance of HL, asking for the assistance of any kind that could help them in their conflict. A coalition consisting of forces from British Bayonet, Arirang, Tanabon, Deefenland, and Drusselstein was formed and sent to the nation of Haradren to push back Minoska forces who had pushed deep into Haradren territory, taking locals as hostages and spoils of war.

Now the HL coalition has prepared to strike back against the Minoska forces and push them out of Haradren once and for all.

Minoska forces have fortified themselves in towns and villages in the area, taking locals as hostages to be used against an attacker. The villages have defenses such as Anti-Tank missiles, booby traps, barbed wire, trenches etc. with supporting artillery such as mortars, as well as this small Minoska forces have set themselves up in the forests around the towns to harass and slow down any coalition forces.

Don't let this thread fool you. Minoska and Haradren are not real nations, rather a simulation for the Havens League militaries. A total of five militaries have signed themselves up.

The war games are just being underway as the soldiers have landed themselves in their own assigned territory now. The soldiers are tasked to move their way up, take the area, and defend it with their hearts. This is coming during a time of Cold War between Havens League and OSEAN. Two Superalliances formed, but Havens League is preparing for the worst.

"It's great for our nation to practice in such a tense time on how to work together," says President Hawkins, President of the United States of Tanabon.

Greater Saint-Paul Fascist Government Overthrown; Rio De Janeiro Rebuilt

(Rio De Janeiro, Greater Saint-Paul) - “Dear citizens of Saint-Paul, today is a victory not just for us, but for the entire world. Today, fascism was once again purged from this nation to never return. As of right now, Getúlio Halin and Mark Vargas will be sent to a joint Soviet-Lunghan court to be punished. The empire will change the flag from this monstrosity and we will try to pay our debts to all affected nations. Thank you all for helping me in this fight for freedom”-Emperor Arthur, after the fascist surrender.

After many long weeks, Greater Saint-Paul was liberated form the fascist government of Getulio Halin, ending a the brutal dictatorship of a mere month and a week of existance. Thanks to Lungha and The Soviet States of Europe, we can now be relifed that the threat of the fascist is no more. In a final stand at the city center of Rio de Janeiro, Emperor Arthur I highjacked the army radio and got all of Getulio's forces, exept the most loyal of them, to go against him. After 6 days of brutal fightng, the soldiers were doubting the dictatorship, and were relifed dohear the emperor's voice again. Joining his soldiers with his most elite company, literal knights who used guns and shields made of Taluminum, the united armies marched 5 days to reach Saint Paul, where they ended the last fascist resistance and won the war.

Almost a month later, Rio is completly rebuilt, and citizens are slowly moving back in. Many questions were raised after the war, such as why OSEAN dint intervene and even try to stop Lunghan reinforcement in the war. This debate further escalated when the emperor anounced he was leaving OSEAN to join Iron Blood for many diverse reasons. To answer all questions, Arthur made the following anouncement last week: "As you all know, many weeks have gone by. Recovery from the Civil War is just around done, and with the help of FSSE, Lungha and OSEAN, the reconstruction is going wounderfully. But that's beside the topic of today. For as long as the civil war was over, the question of which alliance we will join has hung in the air. As of the time being, we are members of Iron Blood and OSEAN alike. This changes today. I, King Arthur I of Greater Saint-Paul declare my millitary allegiance to OSEAN, and take a neutral stance in the Cold War of Strangereal. This means that, even though we wil be under the flag of OSEAN, our only porpouse will be military aid in defenses and attacks I agree with. Paulistian technolgy will not be ceded to OSEAN, neither to ANY ALLIANCE for free. If they want our tech, they must pay for it! Furthermore, because of declared neutrality, Lungha will still be an ally and any member inside or outside of OSEAN with good relations towards the empire shall also be considered as such"

Islands of Tonga Crowns New Queen

(Nukuʻalofa) - Just a few days ago, the former queen of the Second Tu'i Tongan Empire of Islands of Tonga was found dead near the hospital of Nukuʻalofa. She had several bullet wounds. The queen was pronounced dead at the same hospital where she was taken into a room.

The country of the Islands of Tonga was in utter chaos for days. The new queen has taken a step up to the throne for the Islands of Tonga. She is only thirty-two-years-young. Her name is Kalasia Tupou IX.

Her coronation was filled with Christian Tongans. The gathered in the Nukuʻalofa Catholic Church in downtown Nukuʻalofa. The got their first look of their new leader.

When the service started, the priest told the whole crowd including the new queen, how she got into this world and how God created her and blessed her enough for this role to be queen of the Second Tu'i Tongan Empire of Islands of Tonga.

The Queen's Crown is then transferred from the former queen, Mafi Tupou VIII's head and is drenched with ocean water form the Emerald Sea around the Islands of Tonga.

Then, the water from the crown is poured on to the head of the new queen. Then, her head was dipped in water. The crown was put on her head shortly after. The coronation meant that Kalasia Tupou IX is the new queen of the Islands of Tonga.

Kalasia Tupou IX is scheduled to have an international dinner with the President of the Arirang Federation of Krustevland on Wednesday.
