As a matter of fact the Franglish Empire is gloriously corruption-free. The only curruption we know is the one we bring into other nations in order to better take control of them. And after all is it even corruption when the Emperor himself calls it "resources management". Only for those heinous enemies of the Empire, racists and savages for sure.

The following is a Special Notification from 10000 Islands.
On Sunday, February 17th 2019, Chief Executive Woonsocket of 10000 Islands declared his intent to resign from his position after two years of running the region. As his successor he has chosen Markanite, three time WA Delegate and Heart of the Islands recipient. Both Woonsocket and Markanite are highly well like among the community of XKI, and while many of us are sad to see Woonsocket step down after doing such a good job we know that he couldn't have made a better choice for the person to replace him.
In his statement of resignation Woonsocket had much to say about his successor, and much to say about his time as Chief Executive. To the delight of many, he has also declared his intent to stick around and not leave the community entirely.
Woonsocket resignation letter:

However, after being THOROUGHLY ignored, and upon further consideration, Ooftopolis's unipersonal executive assembly decided that, perhaps, going about murdering everybody was not the best way to start an international career. Therefore, until we can understand what the hell is going on, we have decided to join a more... neutral region, such as yours.

This is nationstates, as you already know. A not completely realistic nation simulator. This is the LCRUA, a region full of questionably sane individuals. The last region you were in was a region that invades other regions by taking control of a position that allows them to change the region.
As to what you do on Nationstates, nobody really knows. Sure you can answer issues for years. But I find the most enjoyment in the absolute weird, and again questionably sane, community. The best outlet to experience it is through our discord https://discord.gg/dSP9mpR

That... seems about right.
The part of the game that seemed more interesting to me were the international politics. How do they work, exactly? Can each region just invent its own structure or are there some rules? And why does it matter? Can someone legislate some weird thing and make everybody in the region/wa have to obey it?
