While the coalition forces pooled themselves into the western spearhead, the Sicilian troops that had been gathering at the front, and the armor that was running raids on the Coalition flanks, Sicilian troops launch a spearhead of a full army of tens of thousands of men, and large amounts of tank and armor, punching through a small portion of the frontline in much the same way the coalition pooled forces to make a concentrated spearhead through bravacem.

In an attempt to halt the coalition advance, Sicilian troops use explosives on portions of the highway system, tearing the roads to shreds to prevent the coalition from easily tearing through the bravacem rear defensive line.

The less experienced coalition forces attempting to widen the spearhead meet the veteran sicilian troops holding brutal urban fighting and using unit-by-unit tactics that im not going to explain fully here because im not going to type out the full tactics of hundreds of different platoons, but to summarize "blow up enemy, stall them as much as you can, use cover to hold off these less experienced troops and create killing fields, as well as attempting to capture coalition soldiers"

Sicilian armored columns typically have mobile AA vehicles in their formation, which allow many of the incoming munitions to be shot down, although a handful of missiles slip through, stalling one column of half a dozen, and destroying 3 armored troop transports in another.

Given that this region, while formerly being part of altusia, being a heavily pro-democratic area that was heavily against the altusian authoritarian coup, while they get a bit of information, it's not enough to be majorly significant. One civilian throws a molotov cocktail onto an altusian vehicle going by his home, and another yells "DEATH TO THE IMPERIALISTS" before throwing a grenade at a cluster of coalition troops. Another pair of army groups is sent to halt the coalition flanking maneuvers

Reports are slowly but surely pouring in from local citizens, although approximately 90-95% appear to be prank reports or conspiracy theories, distracting the coalition forces. Due to this, many Sicilian units are able to avoid precision strikes, which now begin hit and run attacks in the suburbs between the alleyways, some troops even using shotguns to shred the legs of coalition troops in this shoulder-to-shoulder combat. One private even gets a bayonet kill.

In the east, as coalition troops are diverted away to the west as mentioned previously in your rp, Sicilian troops use the respite they can get to bring in tens of thousands of more troops across the frontline, with trucks bringing in soldiers, guns, and ammo, and leaving with refugees, wounded, and dead. A coalition shell in the east strikes a schoolhouse, killing 57 children and 3 teachers, and wounding 187 children and 7 teachers and administrators.

in the air, while fighters continue to be damaged and the occasional plane explodes into a fiery sphere of death, in general the Sicilian airforce, at least for the moment, holds on with competent pilots and additional planes coming in from where they can be gotten, and switches to swarm and destroy tactics

The mobile AA vehicles that travel with most armored columns help to inflict heavy losses on coalition bombing raids, although a few units are again destroyed, its fair to say they did more damage than they received.

The Napalm spreads destruction across the farmlands of the east, although in the grand scheme of things it would take a whole lot of time for it to significantly damage national food reserves. The bombs on St.Maria national park in Savoia spark a fire, and while it can only spread so fast in the high mountain peaks and the (not wet but by no means a dry climate), but spread it does, with the sicilian national fire service scrambling to contain the flames. While there is fear across the nation, it is not a severe fear yet by any means (outside of Bravacem, where a human stampede injures 47 and kills 1)

The Merlovichan BMA get shot at, which may impede the camera feed. The vast width of the frontline also impedes the camera feed, as its difficult to get enough craft for the entire front, not to mention aerial views being somewhat unhelpful in indoor urban warfare. The drones are also shot at.

The wave of missile launches is quickly detected by Sicilian radar, with interception missiles being launched franticly to stop the bombardment. The gas import terminals suffer the most severe damage, with the inland fuel refineries suffering some damage, and the ports, being the best protected, suffer nearly no real damage.

Towards the south, at Gran Sagrado, The sicilian air group begins jamming Altusian radio in the area, hamnpering communications. The fighters move ahead to distract altusian air defenses and enemy fighters, equipped with flares and chaff for any incoming missiles, while two bombers target each altusian ship, which thanks to the way toss bombing works, they dont need to be directly above the altusian ships, allowing them to stay farther back while each plane drops several unguided naval bombs before attempting to pull back. The sicilian naval group continues to move in, opening long-range fire based on exact coordinates provided by the sicilian planes.

At the enemy paratrooper assault, many citizens hold strong, as veterans of previous conflicts they cannot be scared so easily by bloodshed, although a few sicilians lose hope and flee to their basements to hide with their families. Molotov cocktails and grenades are thrown when the paratroopers pass through one particular street, a makeshift ambush, with about a dozen sicilians firing from the homes on each side.

One citizen is able to call in an SOS to the sicilian military, which sends a pair of fighters to strafe the paratroopers, as well as diverting a 640 man battalion coming in from the rear to the town in an attempt to put down the paratroopers. Given that sicilian AA emplacements and radar was able to spot where these transports went, they determine that this is likely an accurate report, although the gunshots being heard over the radio also help confirm its authenticity. Several citizens begin being shot down and killed, although they do their best to hold.

In Savoia, a wave of sicilianzo's newest high-altitude stealth bombers are launched, while a paratrooper corp readies itself in savoia, although this is unknown to the coalition.
