Seeing that not only San Sierra is currently in elections, but also their de-facto leader Senator Cecilia Colina (the president resigned) is a near-human and would be risky to improve relations with what seems to be a human supremacist regime, they are going to announce the postponing of relations improvement until election.

The island was used as a tertiary port and the government has made sure to use some resources found on the island, but still left some to their allies to the East. Porcupine Island is home to many trees and porcupines and was a minor tourist destination, but MONEY. The porcupines will be safe however has humanitarians demanded that they be transferred to the Lib Lib national porcupine reserve.
