Augustus I of Korosov has been named Lord Councillor earlier today, with his selection of Marcus Antonius as Lord Delegate. The Emperor expressed positive sentiments about the work Mr Antonius has done thus far in supporting the previous Lord Delegate, and believes that the Crown Federation will be well-represented in the World Assembly by the new WA top diplomat.
Secondly, HRH Prince Cassandra has been received at Turrensia International Airport, along with the former Prince Amedeo of Keralia, and their son, HRH Prince Ferdinand. HRH Prince Consort Amedeo of Keralia is likely to receive a ducal title in the following weeks.
Lastly, the Emperor will be travelling up to Balestier Castle once again to rest and recuperate, while temporarily appointing HM Queen Joan Darlange as Regent, as he will be accompanied by HRH Princes Wilson and Javier.

The Alvesco Express: BREAKING NEWS! Unusual activity in palatial movements!
The Emperor has travelled out of Forteral Palace once again up to Balestier Castle, this time with Prince Wilson and Prince Javier accompanying him. This is the fourth time in the past two months where the Emperor has left the Capitol State, and is believed to have taken ill once again. Not much is known about the illness, but many suspect that the Emperor is suffering from a more serious illness than expected.
While temporarily appointing Queen Joan as Regent, there have been royal rumours that the Emperor is taking this opportunity to name the Crown Prince. With the Emperor at 52 years old, it is likely that the Emperor may be deciding a succession plan. The holder of the prized throne will likely become the sovereign monarch of the economic powerhouse of the Recon Empire, and the leader of over 100 billion people in the Crown Federation.
Royals and nobles have also cancelled all foreign engagements, with visitations to the Emperor at Forteral and northwards to Balestier almost tripling in the past days. Perhaps they know something we don't?

Either as their colonies, or in preparation for future independence (in which case, Keralia, or certain parts of it will be NPC, integrated into the RP canon). That way, we avoid much bloodshet and the expenses that go with mobilizing for armed conquest.

West Bristen Faults Military Governor, Vice Admiral Maurice Nelles, calls on the CFOR regional government to intervene promptly in the Kingdom of Keralia, where current state of affairs have rapidly declined since last week. The event, which may set a stage of instability for the entire region, has caught the attention even of Fort Jon, where the Government has instructed Jeltronian forces in its colony in the region to stand ready to deploy to help Keralia, a state it shares bilateral relations with.
"We have hundreds of Jeltronians, working and staying as tourists in the Keralia. We stand ready to extract them, and assist the Keralian authorities." Nelles said in a statement.

Sir Edward Montague, Recon Empire Ambassador to the CFOR, expressed at the Council of Ambassadors General Meeting today at Forteral Palace regarding the Recon Empire's interest in the neighbouring country of Keralia. He expressed the risks of having other nations in such close proximity to the Recon Empire, and asserted that the Keralia will continue to be an independent state, and that the Supreme Government will be willing to support the efforts in maintaining a monarchial independent government by any means. Otherwise, the Recon Empire will not hesitate to assume control over the territory.
While a possible regional mandate has not been publicly expressed by the Imperial Government, the Supreme Government is prepared to react in any way to the decisions of the Imperial Government. Keralia, located at its closest point, just 40km away from Ryser Island of the Recon Empire, the 14th Combined Arms Division is currently stationed there, where it can be deployed with immediate effect. The RES Legacy Battle Fleet has been patrolling northwest Keralia, but is currently in international waters. HRH Prince Amedeo of Keralia, Duke of Saint Claire-en-Cleor, the former Crown Prince, and husband of the Reconian Princess HRH Cassandra, will be meeting with Chancellor Diane Leighton to discuss the prospects of him regaining the throne to Keralia as well.

Statement from the Office of the Lord Superior
The Office of the Lord Superior has submitted its findings in the Interim Report on the Secession of the Keralian Nation to the Emperor of Recon. The report was a result of a secret investigation conducted by the Office of the Lord Superior in the nation of Keralia, following the collapse of its government. Following a declassification of certain parts of the content of the report under the instruction of the Emperor of Recon, a summary of the report's declassified contents was provided to the Council of Ambassadors. In the summary, the interim report concluded that,
"While the state of affairs in the Keralian nation is neither commendable or deplorable, it is beginning to veer and possibly steamroll dangerously towards the latter. The lack of governance, order and control amongst a civilised population will soon find itself out of delicate balance, in a fashion which is untimely and unwise for the security of this region. Based on the hard findings of the investigators, there is a severe need for immediate action in order to prevent a secession of the Keralian nation that will eventually be led by a person of no stature and respect for regional traditions, which classifies this as an imminent threat to the cultural roots and dynastic dynamism of this very region. It is also of the view of the Lord Superior that 'extreme situations require extreme measures', and thus, this report recommends that an immediate takeover of the administration of the Keralian nation by any means necessary is vital and critical to the political and cultural stability of a region that other rulers by divine right take up as their home."

The Union has decided to observe the situation in Keralia, we are prepared to take measure to maintain stability in the region as needed, through humanitarian and even military intervention if needed. However, right now the Council had deemed it prudent to take a stance of Non-Intervention till we can assess the situation fully, and confer with other nations, such as the Imperial Royal Union.
As it stands, only a few thousand Tremorisian Nationals are working within the Nation as private contractors, and are reporting no immediate danger to their lives. But we will standby to extract them if needed. Until then Individual Union contractors will see to their investments in the region, to safeguard their assets and profit margins.

With the Emperor in Balestier Castle, HM Queen Joan Darlange, the Queen Regent, has deemed him "temporarily incapacitated" from both national and regional duties. As such, with evidence provided from the report by the Lord Superior, the Queen has authorized the RRAF to prepare for a full-scale military conquest into Keralia "to restore peace, stability and prosperity for all Keralian people". HRH Crown Prince Amedeo is the rightful heir to the Keralian throne, and with the King Ferdinand II situation deeming him incapacitated, it is only right for the Crown Prince to assume his father's duties and right to rule the state.
While the situation in Keralia is still not certain, General Alexander Tomrod, Globe Marshal of RRAF Polar Unified Command, expressed that he hopes for a peaceful takeover. Nonetheless, Major-General Nathan Soosay, who is currently located off the northern coast of Keralia, will lead the Recon Royal Armed Forces, Keralia to ensure the objectives are met. He will also be promoted to Lieutenant-General Nathan Soosay throughout the duration of the operation. RRAF Keralia will be assigned the following forces:

The Recon Foreign Service will also dispatch paramilitary personnel to ensure the safety of civilians. However, any interest in Keralian lands are strictly off-limits and will be met with grave retaliation by the Reconian armed forces.
The Recon Empire will also take over duties to provide refuge to the 
Furiso Government-in-Exile, which is currently located in Keralia.

The Alvesco Express: Queen Elia under house arrest?!
HM Queen Elia, the East Queen Consort, has not been seen publicly for the past two months, leading speculation that the growing power of the West Queen Regent HM Queen Joan, has led to a possible house arrest of Queen Elia. The government have denied any queries into the East Queen's schedule. The two Queens have always not been the most cordial to each other, with a relatively public rivalry. However, with Queen Joan being recently appointed regent, and authorizing a war while the Emperor is currently incapacitated, shows that there's more than meets the eye. With her consolidating power in such an ambitious manner, it is not hard to suspect the other Queen has to give way somehow. Furthermore, with Prince Wilson and Prince Javier accompanying the Emperor in Balestier, Queen Joan has all the state arsenal at her disposal.
Whether she has intention to usurp the throne is unsure, but she is certainly close.

Madison Court - Jeltronian ambassador to the Crown Federation of Recon, Nathaniel Fourier confirmed meeting earlier with the rest of the Council of Ambassadors to receive updates on the situation in Keralia. The ambassador, who was speaking in a press conference which took place shortly after he returned to the Jeltronian mission, also confirmed the formal lodging by the Jeltronian government of an inquiry as to the policy of the regional government over Keralia. This amidst reports that the Recon Empire was declaring a unilateral deployment in the area.
Fourier said that Jeltronia was closely monitoring the situation, and is ready to evacuate citizens current in the country. The Jeltronian Embassy in Keralia earlier issued a warning to all nationals in the country.
"While Jeltronia has adopted a policy of non-intervention in wider regional affairs, given it is not formally part of it, the Kingdom still maintains an active interest and direct stake in the preservation of stability in the region, especially as it maintains a colony here. Developments which may affect the interest and welfare of the Jeltronian territory in West Bristen Faults will be met with the appropriate action by the Kingdom of Jeltronia" Fourier said.
The envoy also sought to convey Jeltronia's commitment to support the maintenance of current political institutions in Keralia, although stopped short on mentioning whether it will actually support the Kingdom's annexation by another regional state. "We stand by the people of Keralia. Ultimately, the decision on how to move forward rests with them, and we are ready to assist in that regard."
A source working closely with the Colonial administration in West Bristen Faults said that the Kingdom preferred that the Keralian matter be resolved by the people of Keralia themselves, under the assistance of the Regional Government of the Crown Federation of Recon.

IDC CEO Arrested In Corruption Scandal
The CEO of the Islandus Development Corporation, Ms. Kyla Grey, was arrested by the Corrupt Practices Inspectorate and the Commercial Crimes Bureau on Saturday morning over charges of corruption. The spokesperson for the police revealed that Ms. Grey was arrested for her alleged bribery of 3 separate Estates Deputies for them to change their vote on a petition for Imperial Royal Union's involvement in the Keralian Secession Crisis. Ms. Grey was also accused of siphoning company funds as well as public funds into a carefully concealed shell company which she had registered in The recon empire after achieving dual citizenship there as well. It was reported that a total of 14 police vehicles had gathered outside the headquarters of the Islandus Development Corporation in Santa Eliza, where the raid had occurred with much drama.
Police sources claimed that investigations into the shell company had began 14 months ago after the Inland Tax & Revenue Authority had looked through the records of the Islandus Development Corporation. The National Audits Bureau was also asked to look into the incident, in which the Deputy Auditor-General, Ms. Lisa Sawyer, has insisted that she will push for the National Audits Bureau to bring the case to the Board of Public Inquiry.
Media institutions over the nation have also began drawing far-fetched connections between Ms. Grey and her childhood friends as well as her family. An allegation surfaced by noon as reported by a local news source in Stringsvarp stating the 'deep connections between Grey and various members from the office of the Queen-Regent of Recon, not excluding the possibility of the Queen herself'.

The first three brigades of the 14th Combined Arms Division have landed on the east coast of Keralian soil, officially beginning the restoration of the Keralian throne. It is revealed that an internal coup had occurred in Keralia, led by Prince Johann von Cynek, nephew of the late King Ferdinand II, the latter who is confirmed to be dead. Prince Cynek had been the Keralian Permanent Representative to the CFOR for 5 years, and has been instrumental in the nation's diplomatic efforts all around the region. With King Ferdinand's poor health and alleged "incapacity to lead", Prince von Cynek has led a coup to overthrow King Ferdinand the last few weeks.
In today's briefing by the Director of Crown Intelligence, Sir Charles Parker, we currently understand that the renegade prince is preparing his coronation as the next King of Keralia, omitting the rightful line of succession, of which should be succeeded by HRH Prince Amedeo. RRAF Keralia has begun contacting various government leaders of Keralia.
Field Marshal Jean-Jacques de la Mailene, the Aide-De-Camp to the King and Commander of the Keralian Armed Forces has not expressed support for neither Prince Amedeo nor Prince von Cynek, but has agreed to a meeting with Colonel Eric Walters, G1 of RRAF Keralia to discuss further plans moving forward. The RRAF's main priority will be to ensure adequate humanitarian support reaches the rural parts of Keralia, while hopefully a civil negotiation with Prince von Cynek to take place. According to Keralian law, Prince von Cynek should legally be arrested for high treason, which is punishable by death. The RRAF will assist Prince Amedeo and his government to enforce this law during a time of great sensitivity.
The RRAF will also begin the evacuation of the 1.7 million citizens from the capital city, where armed conflict is likely to take place.

1. HIM Emperor Thales XIII announced 4 new cabinet appointments that would officially join the Executive Cabinet Office of The State on 12 December 2016. Mr. Jimmy Leroy Lingenfelt would be appointed as the new Minister for Imperial Crown Affairs; Mr. Darryl Duke Tanner would be appointed as the new Secretary of Public Administration; Mr. Kieran Meier Tannehill would be appointed as the new Secretary of Mineral Resources & Primary Industries; and incumbent Presiding Officer of the Estates-General Sir Ryan Ben Lerner would have his post promoted into the Executive Cabinet Office of The State. The appointments are meant to reflect the political independence of the Executive Cabinet Office of The State, with duties crossing over into those of the Civil Service as well.
2. Secretary of Lelouxian Affairs Mr. Chaney Chilcot has expressed that the current actions taken by the Recon Empire on the Keralian Secession Crisis are undesirable and provoke unnecessary violence and hostilities in the region. While he understands that the decision of HM Queen Joan to invade Keralia may be justified, he believes that the Queen has misunderstood the report published by the Lord Superior's Office and may have thus acted out of imprudence and misinterpretation. He also claimed that HM Emperor Haden would have shown more prudence and consideration before making rash decisions as such.

The RRAF has advanced tremendously on Keralian grounds today, with minor skirmishes with von Cynek loyalists. The 14th Division has secured a quarter of the Keralia, with all 10 of its brigades on the ground and assisting with the lack of power and clean water in rural areas. The RRAF have also established contact with the von Cynek staff and will be arranging a meeting in Grabe, the capital city. Prince von Cynek has stated that he is aware of Reconian intervention and wishes to discuss a possible compromise. The RRAF upholds a strict "diplomacy first" policy and will always be open to civil and peaceful negotiations over military aggression. Staff of RRAF Keralia will also meet up with various top government officials to secure a peaceful transition of power.
Lieutenant-General Nathan Soosay and HRH Prince Amedeo of Keralia will be meeting Prince von Cynek himself along with his second-in-command, Duke Pierre de Nenci, a former High Minister and current Commander of the von Cynek Volunteers. A separate meeting will be held between Major-General Dylan Rhimes, Rear Admiral Victor Amaal and Colonel Eric Walters with the pro-Amedeo Keralian government officials, which include Prince Léonard de Roire, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Aleksander de Quaasteniet, HSH the Prince of Virticz-Brettiates, Head Procurator of the Senate; and TIll. Viscount Kleo van der Schelmn, former Keralian ambassador to Furiso. Finally, a special meeting will be arranged between Chancellor Diane Leighton with the former Keralian Prime Minister Prince Jules d'Almeis, who shares a personal friendship with the Recon Empire. Chancellor Leighton had spoken at an election rally of Prince d'Almeis early last year. The Furiso Government-in-exile has also been contacted, with a meeting scheduled between Prime Minister Keyla Muran and Colonel Mary Bridgets, G8 of RRAF Keralia.
Next, in response to the rogue comments made by the Imperialean official about our government directives on the Keralian Secession Crisis, HM Queen Joan made a phonecall to Emperor Thales XIII earlier today to discuss the language used by his Secretary of Lelouxian Affairs. Her Majesty believes Imperialean policy puts the alliance of the two countries as top priority, as the Recon Empire does, and that language used by said official in a manner of such will not serve well for bilateral relations. Referring to another sovereign, be it regent or otherwise, as acting "out of imprudence" shows the ignorance, vulgarity and lack of diplomatic tact within Secretary Chilcot as the honourable representative of the nation. It reflects poorly on the boorish and coarse image of the Imperialean Government as seen at the moment. The Supreme Government is willing to overlook the strong language used by Secretary Chilcot, as it is also vital that the Imperialean Cabinet relook into the language used on the diplomatic platforms. Despite the report by the Office of the Lord Superior which clearly advises the immediate takeover by "any means necessary", the Recon Empire has assured our regional partners of humanitarian support and humane treatment throughout the legal and justified restoration of the Keralian throne.

The phone call made to the Office of the Emperor earlier in the day was received by the State Chancellor, instead of the Emperor himself, who has declined the call on grounds that it was only appropriate and respectful that he should only receive calls from other heads-of-state, and not acting heads-of-state.
2. Minister for Foreign Affairs Ms. Trina Nilsson has made clear that the language used by Secretary of Lelouxian Affairs Mr. Chaney Chilcot was appropriate with respect to the situation and that it clearly reflected the stance of the Supreme Government of Imperial Royal Union on the Keralian Secession Crisis. In addition, Mr. Chilcot has again stressed that 'an immediate takeover' should not insinuate an invasion but instead lead to negotiations for peaceful transition of powers before other actions. The State Chancellor with the concurrence of the Emperor has also appointed Mr. Chilcot as the Diplomatic Representative of Imperial Royal Union on the Keralian Secession Crisis.

Recent exchanges made between the Recon Empire and the Imperial Royal Union have caused some concern to the bilateral relations of the two countries. The comments made by Secretary Chilcot against Her Majesty the Queen-regent will definitely not be brushed off by the government, and even with the ample dignity already offered to the Imperialean government, the statements have still not been retracted. Perhaps the relationship between monarch-subject is not as strong in IRU, where Imperialean monarch holds little respect within the country, which allows for dissent and disrespect against a sovereign to be displayed by said sovereign's government at such a public level. However, regardless of how Imperialean domestic culture seems to be, the same standards (or lack of) should not be applied in another country. While it is the duty for any government representative to familiarize themselves with another nation's foreign policy and protocol, much less as a Secretary or Minister, there is an obvious lack of courtesy and maturity on a governmental level that should be revisited. At this pace, the reputation that was built up over the years may end up crumbling, leaving the impression of a uncivil and disoriented bureaucratic clutter. Protests should be made in an orderly and civil manner and not be built upon profane and snippy remarks.
Our government seems to have already caught on with the repetitive instigative habits, thus opting not to reply. It is like the child who keeps saying "no" to everything, isn't it?
On many occasions, the IRU government has interjected itself poorly into various regional affairs, the Furisoan coup d'etat, the Grabe Conferences, and now the Keralian coup. The country doesn't hold even a minute stake in the conflicts, while often offending all parties involved, causing greater damage to herself than otherwise. A large part of this chaos stems directly from Emperor Thales's young age and rashness, which has spiralled the nation into an awkwardly aggressive stance. The Recon Empire has had a wonderful and long lasting relationship with Imperial Royal Union over the past centuries, during a period where the IRU was led by the wiser Emperor Thales XII. Hopefully with time, Emperor Thales XIII will grow into a more learned monarch, one who can better grasp the sentiments of public policy, rather than be led around by his political advisers. Everyone has to learn from scratch, and nobody is immune from mistakes. Petty acts such as rejecting a phone call from another head of state may be appropriate coming from a 19-year-old, but is deeply disappointing coming from a sovereign monarch. It is no denying the ambition of the young Emperor, after Thales XII's death, the caretaker regent stood only for 3 hours before being dismissed. But with that also exudes the shadows of a spoilt young child and his inexperience in grasping international relations.
The allure of riches frequently cause one to overestimate oneself and his abilities. Emperor Thales must overcome this obstacle in order to bring his people to a greater future and to uphold the standards of his predecessors.

Madison Court - The Jeltronian Government has reiterated its concern over the recent military actions undertaken by the Recon Empire in the Kingdom of Keralia. Jeltronia maintains diplomatic relations with both sovereign states. Ambassador to the Crown Federation of Recon, Nathaniel Fournier, said the Kingdom "strongly feels that the Recon Empire should suspend further military action in Keralia" and should instead call a meeting of the regional government "to come up with a collective solution, appropriate to the wishes of the Keralian people." The Ambassador lamented that Keralia, which has long advocated for a policy of neutrality in regional matters, is now being invaded by another regional state.
Meanwhile, Ambassador to Keralia Mr. Peter Wayne said that the Jeltronian government was trying to contact the Keralian authorities to clarify the current state of affairs, the exact needs and expectations of the Keralian government for its partners and allies.
Without naming any party, the Ambassador also said that unilateral actions undertaken to directly or indirectly intervene in the Keralian crisis "may be violative of international law", especially without the authorization, let alone the participation of the regional government.
"We also note that official policy of neutrality of the Keralia, a status which is protected under international law".

HRH Crown Prince Amedeo, Duke of Saint Claire-en-Cleor re-instated the appointment of Prime Minister Prince Jules d'Almeis this morning at Voxhower Mansion. The Crown Prince, who appeared alongside his wife, HRH Reconian Princess Elise of Pollensky, expressed, in his scripted televised speech, for a hopeful vision for all Keralians who have been affected by the coup. He has stated that he had been in mourning over the past week after receiving news that his father, the late King Ferdinand II was murdered cruelly by the rebel Prince von Cynek. He hopes that the country and region join him in mourning for his father as well, as the country goes through this tough time. Prime Minister d'Almeis will begin forming the new cabinet as well.
Nonetheless, the Prince also announced that a groundbreaking agreement has been reached between Lieutenant-General Nathan Soosay and Field Marshal Jean-Jacques de la Mailene, whom the latter has pledged the full support of the Keralian Royal Armed Forces towards HRH Prince Amedeo's ascension to the crown. With this move, the KRAF's 400,000-manpower conscripted armed forces will come under the command of HRH Prince Amedeo and his prime minister.
HRH Prince Amedeo also agreed strongly that the Keralian people should not suffer under warfare, and believes that with the non-aggressive pressure of KRAF and the RRAF, negotiations with the von Cynek staff is nearing to a compromise. Prince von Cynek's personal meeting with Prince Amedeo and LG Soosay was inconclusive yesterday, with comments stating that Prince von Cynek will be considering his decisions before announcing, but hopes to keep his options open. There is currently rumours that Prince von Cynek has been offered the option of a full pardon.
In his 2-hour speech, he also announced the establishment of the Keralian Transitionary Council, which will assist the Crown Prince in the runnings of the country until his coronation. The KTC will seat various important cross-strait members. The KTC, as promised by the Supreme Government of the Recon Empire, will be disbanded within 2 months after the coronation takes place. The Prime Minister of Keralia has also been given a deadline to form up a basic cabinet before the coronation. However, due to instability in the government, the exact date for the coronation has not been planned. The RRAF has issued a full-scale ceasefire for the operations in Keralia nationwide, though sensitive areas around Grabe to remain on standby, and will begin its humanitarian efforts to help the logistical difficulties faced by the KRAF in delivering food, water and power to those in rural areas. The 12th Airlift Wing, led by Air Brigadier Léo Naples, has been appointed under RRAF Keralia as well and will begin nationwide logistical efforts to provide relief. The RRAF Keralia engineers will also begin basic reparations to public utility services and hopefully restore the national power grid within the next few months.
In a separate event in Heraclea today, HM Queen-Regent Joan expressed "immense grief" towards the death of the late King Ferdinand II, and has expressed that she will personally attend the state funeral that will be held in Castle Grabe. Accompanying the Queen will be the Foreign Commissioner Dame Angelina Putnam and the Chancellor Diane Leighton. During yesterday's negotiations, Prince von Cynek has agreed to disclose the location of the late King's corps, of which have successfully been recovered by the 14th Division at an abandoned castle 120 miles out of the capital city of Grabe.
The Director of Multilateral Affairs, Sir Oliver Cooke, met today with the Jeltronia Ambassador to the Crown Federation of Recon, Mr Nathaniel Fournier, at Capitol Palace and listened in to the concerns of the Jeltronian government. He expressed that the Recon Government shares the Jeltronians' view of Keralian neutrality, but also treasuring the honorable constitution of Keralia, set forth by the late King Ferdinand II before his untimely death. The Recon Empire and Keralia have been longstanding allies, and the bilateral relationship will and has to continue beyond King Ferdinand II's legacy. Nonetheless, the Foreign Service is willing to engage in constructive discussion with our Jeltronian allies as well in reaching greater consensus for a more prosperous future bilaterally. Sir Cooke has also relayed HM Queen Joan's invitation for a state visit by HM King Jothan II of Jeltronia to the Recon Empire.

By the powers granted in the Treaty of Forteral, the Emperor of Recon delegates powers of governance via Royal Charters.
Any person delegated powers directly via a Royal Charter is considered a Federal Chief. Federal Chiefs are heavily encouraged to write regulations to better achieve their stated goals. The Emperor of Recon and the Federal Court of Justice shall recognize regulations made by Federal Chiefs within their respective jurisdictions of authority. Regulations written by Federal Chiefs are recognized as Federal Regulations.
Any agency that is delegated powers directly via a Royal Charter is considered a Federal Agency. Likewise, Federal Chiefs have the freedom to create sub-agencies within their jurisdiction to aid them in reaching their intended goals. Any agency that is delegated powers via a Federal Agency are called a Sub-Federal Agency. Sub-Federal Agencies are enforced via Federal Regulations and are answerable to the Federal Chief.
All Federal and Sub-Federal Agencies constitute Federal Services.

Morning of Hostility in the Estates-General
The Estates-General took a severely hostile tone this morning in its usual weekly meetings on Wednesday morning. At the centre of discussions was the relations between Imperial Royal Union and the Recon Empire, in which Estates Deputies were seen to not hold back on their outburst on the Recon Empire.
Estates Deputy Adrian Macdonald of the Estates of the Bourgeoisie began the session with his tirade of the Recon Empire’s provocative diplomacy. “I have been an Estates Deputy for 13 years and this is the first time since the last coup in our nation’s history that we had such a ridiculous neighbour and such a snobby leader that has disregarded the very existence of our nation! There is a need for us to remind that woman on the throne that she simply cannot go around doing as she pleases!” Mr. Macdonald then went further to raise his petition on the suspension of trade policies with the Recon Empire to show the nation’s displeasure.
The petition was discussed by a number of other Estates Deputies, which by the end of the discussion had reduced the bill to the suspension of future trade policies with the Recon Empire, which the Emperor then called on a vote-of-no-confidence on the bill. The bill was passed with only two Estates supporting the vote-of-no-confidence – notably the Estate of the Royalty with only a one vote majority and the Estates of the Trades with only two votes for the suspension.
The fiasco continued with regards to the military cooperation between both nations, which forced the Chief Presiding Officer of the Estates-General, Sir Ryan Ben Lerner, to remove two Estates Deputies from the Estate of the Municipalities and the Estate of the Proletariat for inappropriate language.
Sir Lerner also had to remind the Estates-General that the Op-Ed published in Reconian newspaper the Daily Reconian was not to be used as evidence of the Recon Empire’s provocative actions. Nontheless, Estates Deputies still used it as a platform to channel their rage over the insulting article. This prompted Emperor Thales XIII to remind the Estates-General “It should not even be considered our petty business to care about what other nation’s press may write about us. There is no point in us arguing over editorials that show the shallowness of their own understanding of our nation, and may I remind you that none of our taxpayers’ money will be wasted in regulating the press of other nations. So long as we our own press agencies can keep themselves in check with a good level of self-control to report the facts correctly and not spread false truths, then why do we bother with the lies that are spread by other nations’ unethical free press?”
The final discussion was on a bill calling for a public inquiry into Ms. Kyla Grey’s alleged illicit lobbying of the Estates-General. The bill was ultimately defeated at a vote-of-no-confidence, with 6 Estates voting against and 3 Estates supporting the bill. Despite that, the Emperor has promised that due to the severity of the matter and the fact that it was discussed in the Estates-General, he would invite the Imperial Royal Union Police Force and Corrupt Practices Inspectorate as well as the Special State Security Secretariat and the Internal Security Directorate to form a taskforce and conduct a full thorough investigation into lobbying of the Estates-General by special interest groups and report their findings to the Estates-General in a hearing scheduled for a few weeks from now.

His Majesty's Ministry of Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs is pleased to announce that the Kingdom will be establishing formal diplomatic relations with the Imperial royal union. Talks will be held in Fort Jon to facilitate the opening of official channels, culminating in the opening of embassies in the capitals of Jeltronia and the IRU.
The Ministry is pleased with the appointment of His Excellency, Andrew Salt, as Ambassador of the Imperial Royal Union to Jeltronia. We eagerly await his arrival and look forward to working with him as we promote the relations of Jeltronia and the IRU.
Meanwhile, Nathan Fournier as Ambassador of Jeltronia to the IRU. Ambasssdor Fournier is formerly the Jeltronian Representative to the Regional Government of the Crown Federation of Recon. He is presently a member of the West Bristen Faults Commission, a senior advisory body tasked with studying the condition of West Bristen Faults, and recommending long term policies and colonial projects to Fort Jon.
The office of Representative to the Regional Government of the Crown Federation of Recon will be transferred and merged with the Ambassador of Jeltronia to the Recon Empire, Erickson Walsh, while Ambassador Fournier will now function as the Ambassador-at-Large for the Crown Federation of Recon.

In this month's Ambassadors' Dinner, Ambassadors Mr. Erickson Walsh of Jeltronia, Sir Alec Beverley, KCH of 
Nortainland and Dr. Dillan Cerrvil of Republic of vectors were welcomed to the Recon Empire, where they presented credentials to the Queen-Regent. Ambassadors' Dinners are a tradition in the Recon Foreign Service to welcome our new ambassadors and high commissioners with a state-level dinner at Eisille Castle every month. Attendees include Sir Arthur Roserade, Lord High Commissioner, and Dame Angelina Putnam, Foreign Commissioner. Occasionally royalty and other visiting dignitaries will join the Ambassadors' Dinner as well. All diplomatic missions will receive the Foreign Commissioner's Star after the dinner as well.

Earlier this morning, a major military ceremony was held at Emperor Central Airbase, GAIACOMHQ, announcing the establishment of RRAF Northern Unified Command. General Victor Surge, Crown Director of Grand Strategy, gave a speech making the announcement,
"Today, we celebrate as the Recon Royal Armed Forces builds upon new military relations with our northern neighbours. I am very proud to appoint General Reuben Fellows as the Globe Marshal of NORCOM. With this new addition, it will bring our global expeditionary forces to be grouped under five of our generals, POLCOM, EQTCOM, CMWCOM, LEXCOM and NORCOM. Realizing the effectiveness of Globe Marshals contacting directly with the Grand Strategic Council, we will also not be replacing General Fellows's post as Globe Marshal of Gaia Command, and abolishing the role henceforth.
RRAF Northern Unified Command will absorb RRAF 
Saltbridge, RRAF Jeltronia, RRAF New romastia and RRAF Tsunegara. Total assets under NORCOM will reach over 500,000 personnel in land, air and naval forces. It will account for almost 16% of RRAF assets. With the new Unified Command, it will also lessen the burden imposed especially on our Polar Unified Command, under General Alexander Tomrod. Until we find a permanent location for the NORCOMHQ, we will be sharing it with RRAF Saltbridge HQ in Enterprises Joint Base, Redford Isles. The mission of NORCOM, like any other commands, will be to build meaningful defence relationships with our military partners bilaterally, and to work together in achieving our common goal of peace and prosperity for all the peoples. We are very proud to widen our scope via NORCOM, in working with more partners for the betterment of humanity.
The ceremony was attended by all five Globe Marshals, the Chancellor and a myriad of high ranking generals and admirals.

Madison Court - His Majesty's Ministry of Defense today dispelled rumors that Jeltronia was allowing the deployment of foreign troops within its territory, amidst the announcement of the formation of the Northern Unified Command of the RRAF, The recon empire . In a special press conference called at the Ministry headquarters, Defense spokesperon Marie Solomon denied that the government had authorized the entry and operation of the RRAF within the country. She said that by Royal Decree, the permanent stationing of foreign military troops, and foreign military equipment or technology not otherwise owned or loaned by the Government are forbidden.
Commenting on reported assignments of specific elements of the Recon military under RRAF Jeltronia, Miss Solomon said that the designation was probably merely a Reconian military practice.
"There is no such agreement. The government as a rule, does not allow the permanent stationing of foreign troops, even from our closest military allies, within the sovereign territory of the Kingdom. Our policy is to allow only a limited number of foreign military personnel, for specific engagements such as exchange programs, training exercises, or those representing their government as attaches or liaisons. You'll find that these are all for temporary stints."
This notwithstanding, a source from the Ministry of Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs has confirmed that the Government sought an earlier clarification of the supposed Jeltronian-based division with the Reconian authorities.
While acknowledging there are current efforts to increase military cooperation with the Recon Empire, Miss Solomon did not disclose whether there are specific agreements for a potential military alliance in the near future. Defense insiders have reported that the governments of Jeltronia and the Recon Empire are exploring the possibility of military exercises, but to the Ministry has yet to unveil concrete plans regarding such an arrangement.
Official Release from RRAF Northern Unified Command
We are aware of rumours spreading regarding the establishment and operations of RRAF Jeltronia. We wish to clarify publicly that this entity does not represent forces stationed in foreign lands. Due to the international scope of the RRAF and our peaceful operations worldwide, it is simply unfeasible to manage our troops via a single central command, and thus Gaia Command steps in offering liaison for military and defence relationships with our allies and partners. RRAF Jeltronia is a department under the RRAF with its specific focus on Jeltronia. This does not signify that permanent troops are stationed there, despite many of our unified commands having such arrangement with our close allies.
It is to be noted that the arrangement serves both peace and wartime purposes, allowing us to better manage our military assets and be aware of our individual bilateral relationships. In order to fulfil military obligations that were promised, this ensures that deadlines are met and a strategic plan laid out for every possible scenario. This has been clarified to the Government of Jeltronia on several occasions privately. The RRAF has also managed concerns on several occasions, a simple search on the RMB will show that almost every single time a post regarding Gaia Command, there will be mentions that RRAF Unified Commands are internal administrative divisions with specific "areas of responsibility", serving wartime and peacetime purposes.
Nonetheless, the RRAFNORCOM acknowledges that we are working with the Jeltronia on increased military cooperation, but details will not be released yet. Jeltronia remains the Recon Empire's close ally, and we look forward to greater rapport and trust between both nations.
