Expansion of Himalaya:

The Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of Foreign Affairs have anounced the Himalayan Expansion into Northern Hindu Kush Area as well as the new annexation of the Bengali State.

Expansion into the Northern Hindu Kush Region:

In order to suppress insurgency in the Hindu Kush region, Himalaya has send a battalion of soldiers to destroy the insurgency. Insurgents were mostly hiding in small settlements on the hills and fighting a guerilla style warfare. Skirmishes erupted across several highways and roads until the Insurgent main Headquarters were located in a hill nearby Dushanbe. Himalayan soldiers were able to destroy the headquarters using new APCs to break into the settlement. After a few days of securing the land and checking if any more insurgents are in the area, the federal government it would be best to annex the land and make it part of Himalaya. Reconstruction projects as well as several other projects and plans are now being constructed on the newly annexed land. As well as assimilation process of all civilians in the region. 

Annexation of the Bengali State: (Making this a 600 word thing)

The annexation of the Bengali State will take full effect by the end of May, all states and counties of the Bengali State will be reorganized into the Bangledesh. A federal state that will be fully admitted into the Himalayan Statehood by end of the year. All political officials in the Bengali State may join the Himalayan government under state governments. A small election will take place determining who will be running the newly organized Bangladesh State. The issues relating to citizenship, the military, visa and passport authority, local laws, religious laws, local law enforcement laws, and transportation will be discussed in the 4 different articles. 

Article 1; Civil Laws and Citizenship

All citizens of the Begali State will immediately gain Himalayan citizenship without any tests. All civilians that do not have Bengali citizenship will have to receive Himalayan citizenship in the standard way of 4 years of living in Himalaya, and taking several tests about Himalayan citizenship. Bengali Passports may be kept but must be renewed to Himalayan passports by their expiration due date. Welfare and minimum wage laws must be adjusted to federal laws for the time being before they can be changed again but with limitations. With a minimum wage laws and strict welfare laws. Bengali citizens that were receiving huge welfare checks from the government will not receive those same checks, as they will be severally reduced to a little amount enough to make someone find a new job. Education laws will be adapted to Himalayan laws with all schools must having Federal Himalayan laws. Almost all private schools and hospitals will be state / government controlled. 

Article 2; Local and Religious Laws

Local Laws will be changed to the Himalayan standard Himalayan laws that will take full effect by June. These laws can be changed once the region achieves statehood in Himalaya. Local Laws in communities and cities can be modified according to the Article 57, Segment 37, which limits how much the law can be changed from the original federal law. Punishment and fines for these laws will be enforced after June 5th. Rights to bear arms in region will be changed or modified to fit the Himalayan standard law for these reasons;

1. To keep tabs on who has firearms
2. To keep the public safe and local authorities know who has firearms
3. To find a criminal who has used a firearm
4. To limit was firearms can be used inside Himalaya
5. To limit who can have the firearms in Himalaya
6. To determine who is the complete owner of a firearm. 

Civilians who do not register their firearms by July 30, will be arrested and fine for endangering the public. Religious Laws in the region shall be retconned and be replaced by Himalayan laws. Religious restriction laws that interfere with the rights of belief shall be cancelled and annulled as the laws are not constitutional. Mandatory religion taught at schools shall be annulled and be changed to only teach beneficial education. The national religion of the region shall be cancelled to 'none' as Himalaya itself does not have a national religion. 

Article 3; Local Authorities and the Bengali National Military

The local police for of the Bengali region must be retrained to be very much familiar with Himalayan laws. All previous laws will be retconned and will be replaced by Himalayan police laws. The current police force must be retrained, and in the time being, will be replaced by Himalayan soldiers that will act as active duty police officers. The military of the Bengali state shall be retrained to be standard Himalayan soldiers. All Bengali soldiers will go through 5 years of retraining. All equipment of the old military shall be either scrapped or be stored in military warehouses. All infantry weapons will be replaced by more modern Himalayan weapons. The Bengali Airforce shall be completely dismantled with it's pilot reentering air force lessons in Himalaya. All aircrafts of the Bengali Airforce shall be scrapped due to them being severely old and nearly broken to fly. The Bengali navy shall be renamed to the Himalaya Navy. With all 3 frigates, 3 Destroyers, 1 Cruiser, a dozen patrol boats, and 2 submarines being upgraded with modern technology. All reserve personal must enter the retraining program or else will be fired from the military. 

Article 4; Transportation Laws

Road laws in the Begali region shall be fully retconned and replaced by Himalayan road laws. There will be a change in the units in everyday use in the region as well. Public Transport laws shall be changed to Himalayan laws as well as public transportation company be heavily inspected and viewed by the federal government. All buses shall be for legal uses to Himalayan Bus safety laws to keep the Himalayan roads safe. All public road laws will be changed and enforced by end of June. 

Re-Advised Response To Luperca
Due to some miscommunication with economics and status of Eastern Cape our supreme leader had contacted Luperca’s President in order to avoid sanctions. They have signed a trade agreement between LRF and the MEC (Mediterranean Economic Community) as well as giving Eastern Cape to Korpar. Our supreme leader accepted as it makes more sense for Korpar to have the province than us and a trade agreement will be good for our economy.

As Lupercan soldiers begin to gradually withdraw, companies begin to arrive in Korpar. The most important of these is Lupercan Infrastructures, a state-owned company, which will invest in the reconstruction of roads and railways in the areas most affected by the Korparian Civil War. Other companies, both state-owned and private, will be engaged in the construction of housing complexes, restoration of electrical networks and telephone lines, providing jobs for the local workforce. Together, the Lupercan companies will invest £ℳ100,000,000 (Lupercan Marks = Standard Monetary Units) in the reconstruction of South Korpar.

On the evening of the 30th of May 1970, the guns fell silent.

Secessionist General Ron Kramers has surrendered his forces, one of the last remaining, to General Harald Spechter of the National People's Army and has signed the unconditional surrender of the "Free States" in place of Hermen van Kraan, who's whereabouts are still unknown. Rumors have it that he escaped the city with his regime before the encirclement.

After the surrender was broadcast through the city, hordes of remaining rebel forces crawled and struggled to get out of ruins, laying down their arms.
Many of them wounded and thirsty.
Once the surrender was signed, the city was occupied by the coalition.
Water connection has been restored and medical teams from Rubinja and Close-lands are working around the clock to treat all the wounded they can find.

Now the war is over, and the flag of Korpar flies proudly over the city once again.

ELECTIONS BEGIN IN JUNE

Citizens, the day has come again! From June 11 to June 30, all citizens of Socialist Euraisa above the age of 18 can vote for their local constituent representative.

These representatives will then elect one of their own to enter the National Assembly, which will elect the Prime Minister.

This is the first time in Euraisan history has an election been completely void of political parties. All candidates are independent.

Catching up on what’s going on:

Last time in our expansion we again encountered the new religion now called Safarism, it’s a splinter religion of Satanism but is mostly no threat. Sadly a extremist group of this religion exist with a strong believe in human sacrifice. This group is attacking our new cities and doesn’t respond to any diplomatic approach, for this reason the group is seen as a terrorist organisation. The start up on project red colosseum has been made and funding is going straight to the project. Last time project not close enough, was less expansionistic because of money shortens. But our new union has boosted our economy greatly so annexation can again speed up for our great people’s republic.

Eastern expansion continues:

Expansion aims were kept to our south eastern border again with project not close enough. The vast lands NALA promises us taunts our nation greatly to expand its border and its beautiful way of life. On the from the 4th tot the 7th of June our expansion continues again.

The 4th tot the 6th of June 1970: Our military was send out to occupy the new lands. They had to inform locals of their integration, neutralise any hostile threat or discuss any objections made. Here is a list of most asked questions by locals that are vital for our citizens:

1. Do all locals that become citizens get all rights? Yes they do! All new citizens get all the rights and chances other get to. The only difference is that there will be projects set up for any local to attend freely. These projects will learn them the Alaskan language, social laws and standards, Alaskan culture, basic education much more.

2. Can locals ask for autonomy? Partial autonomy is possible for half a year if preferred by locals. Later it is possible for a region to ask for their own republic in our great nation.

3. What about our culture, religion and leaders: Leaders can become local law enforcers if interested. On the idea of culture and religion everybody is free to choose and do what they desire. The only basic rule that exist is that you can never force anything on another individual in name of your way of life. For example: Human sacrifice, arranged marriages or cults.

On the matter of military intervention against the extremist religion group a few encounters were maid but non with Close-Landian casualties. Only 1 extremist died, 2 got badly hurt and 4 were captured with only a few bruises. This happened in one location but on 2 separate occasions.

5th of June around 12 Pm: 3 locals attack a military vehicle. They tried throwing a rock against the window but this plan failed. After they realised this, they took out knifes and started threating the 2 soldiers inside to come outside. 6 more soldiers came to their rescue and captured the attackers. One of them while trying to escape fell and broke his shoulder.
6th of June around 1 Am: 4 more locals attacked the same military vehicle on a revenge attept for their fallen brethren. Luckily for us, this time one of our soldiers was on standby. He fired a warning shot that didn’t halt the attackers. When they came into a 5 meter radius of him, he opened fire 3 times. His first shot hitting one in the neck and killing him, the second and third hitting another in the chest, lucky a medic could arrive soon and saved his life. The other two, scared of the gun fire surrendered after another shot into the sky.

The 7th of June 1970: Our colonists were send out to chosen locations for new cities and work forces started laying roads to the them. Projects for locals started, citizenships were handed out, tours to our capital were offered to the interested and water/ food supplies were handed out to the needy.

Then plan for the red colosseum is ready! Work forces, materials and dates are being arranged. We hope to begin building next month but the government has stated that a delay is possible for international political reasons. What they mean by this is still not clarified.
