Holy Criminals - 8/6/1970

Troubling reports of Christian communities in South Vietnam and Cambodia begin to trickle in.

First, it’s just some criminals. Murder, theft and such. Nothing the police couldn’t handle.

Then came the bombings.

Government buildings are targeted by saboteurs, detonating explosives and vandalizing with spray paint. Interestingly, all the graffiti seem to imitate mosaic works of Christian mythos.

“The Euraisan government is known for it’s secularism. All people are equal under the law, no matter their faith. While we have tolerated religious freedom before, these acts of terrorism cannot continue, or there will be crackdowns.” - Prime Minister Nguyễn Anh Quân

Rumors of a connected insurgency began to circulate. A puppet state. Sponsored by some outside force. Comprised of disgruntled Christians under the secular system.

The Air of South Vietnam begins to tense.
