Superliberalbabykillers

The People's Republic of Superliberalbabykillers is very excited to join Right to Life. If someone could please address this issue of "right" to "life," it would be very much appreciated. Our children are well educated, our taxes our high, and our people live in social and economic equality. Yet, we have not met another nation that can explain what a "right" to "life" is, exactly, or where this "right" comes from.

Sincerely,
Dr. Partial Birth
Chairman, The People's Republic of Superliberalbabykillers

I thought I said you could stay here so long as you followed the game's rules of conduct. That includes not spamming the Regional Message Board . . . post suppressed and nation banned.

Superliberalbabykillers (and one of its allies) is protesting its banishment. As stated in this region's provisional governing document, I may "exercise all of the administrative powers of a regional founder." This includes the power to eject and ban nations at will. Based on the nation's name, its post here on the Regional Message Board, and the description of this region (see the World Factbook Entry at the top of this page), does anyone currently in the region think I should remove Superliberalbabykillers from the regional ban list and, therefore, allow it to reenter the region?

I support your ruling on the ban this region has a very clear message on this issue. If however he changed his name maybe you could put him in a form of probation were any other offenses would merit a permanent ban.

Woot!

Next week I'll do some more recruiting. Does anyone wish to volunteer to be a recruiter for the region?

Also, please consider joining the World Assembly.

This region has been open for about two months, and we haven't had any discussions about a possible constitution. Does anyone have any ideas?

What form of government should we have? Should the region be a diarchy? Should we have a legislature? Should we establish a court? Should we have a fusion of powers or a separation of powers? How many branches of government should there be?

Catholic republic of america

At least two now maybe latter once we have more members three. An executive branch and a general assembly made up of every member of the region as soon as the join they forum. Latter we could add judicial branch just an idea but I see if I can get a draft up in the forum

I am new here in NS but maybe we should do something like Vatican Catholic Canon Law given the nature of the region.

PS.
Sorry if my English is not so well but I don't use it to often ;-)

All trials for now MUST be decided unanimously or it is a mistrial.

One member of the senate will be elected speaker of the senate by the Prime Minister his powers are as follows

Article 3 The Assembly

The assembly votes in every issue and on every election

Article 4 change in the Constitution

Once ratified in order to change the Constitution a vote must be passed by eighty percent of the assembly , 2 members of the senate ( one being the speaker ) and approved by the Prime Minister. If not approved it must pass the assembly again by a ninety percent margin and unanimously by the senate

So what do you guys think of this ?

I think the head of government should be a member of the senate. In each election, three officials would be elected. Whoever received the most votes would become the head of government (delegate), second place would become the senior senator, and third place would become the junior senator.

Alright I see what you are saying , the problem I have with this though is I think we must have an executive branch. Other than that I would like to get some more input befor I do a rewrite. If we do go with something like that I recommend we expand the senate and still have at least one executive.

Hello, my friends. Regarding the death of Prelature Pope Edward I, I have been instructed to post the following message from Archbishop Leopold (The Grand Duchy of Prince Leopold):

The State Funeral for His Holiness is scheduled for Wednesday August 17, 2011 and until such time His body shall lay in repose beneath the Dome of St. Peter's Basilica where all are welcome to come and pay final respects. The Vatican welcomes visitors to come to evening candle-light prayer vigils which will be held in St. Peter's Square until the pontiff's body is laid to rest beneath St. Peter's.

If you have any questions please contact The Grand Duchy of Prince Leopold, via NS Telegram, and a response will be given with all due haste."

Yours in Christ,

@ Bizantinea

I think three members would be enough for the first senate. As the region expands, the senate could be expanded by statute.

Maybe we could do a Roman type senate than

I was thinking I'd do most of the ceremonial stuff (like you said), and, then, there'd be an elected senate. The head of government would be a member of that senate.

I also have been thinking of a possible constitution like the Spartan Constitution -- diarchy of the founder (my nation) and the regional delegate with an elected senate.

All right than I will draw up a new draft to those specifications and post it by sunday also I am going to start sending messages to our members asking them to join the forum. I would like to get thiere input and set up an area to vote on this

Also there is an area in the forum for parties to form should I include something about this in my next draft

Political parties form on their own. There's no need to encourage (or discourage) them by including something in the constitution.

The Democracy Alliance, a region with which we're constructing embassies, requests that our region send an ambassador. Does anyone volunteer to send a puppet nation (a second nation) there? (Please don't use your nation located in this region.)

Culture of Life
Governor General of Right to Life

my second nation is available to serve as ambassador ;-)

Great! When the embassy is finished in a little more than a day, you can send this new nation to the Democracy Alliance. All you'll have to do is make a post on that region's message board announcing your arrival and saying that Right to Life is happy to have established diplomatic ties with the Democracy Alliance. (After that, you probably won't have to do anything else ever again -- not even check that nation.) Thank you for volunteering.
