Mehruehn: Certainly, the catacombs that you will be visiting are one of the few ancient structures that remain, it contains what you would call a 'King's List.' It also houses the predecessors of the Ushukahnti, Mehrueht. The list goes back about 2,000 years or so. There are also chapels and small libraries filled with the wills and life stories of the occupants. Most of these documents are still being translated. It also shows that an ancestor of ours was Ushukahnti, though this is from our maternal grandmother's side. We even found what appears to be what the oldest legends call 'Ustrahni' or 'The mace of the Father' the name is from a dialect almost forgotten among our people. The mace was given to the first Ushukahnti by the All Father where as the All Mother gave a pendant carved from a Sapphire, which has yet to be recovered as the two relics were interred here before the Age of Strife took hold of Ubaid. He'll address you two as 'friend' which requires you to do the same, language and body language play a huge role in conversation and politics in Ubaid. Before you enter the catacombs and shrines, it is required that you remove your footwear, socks included. This represents our connection to the Earth and nature. It is believed when you are barefoot in the wilderness, you are closer to the Spirits that dwell around you.
