Farro-Sorn (Officially the Democratic Republic of Farro-Sorn) is a frosty mountainous country based in the continent of Wasari. It has a population of 1,102,674, and its capital city is Pavervai, located in Avernik state. It is widely cited as one of the most famous country's for biodiversity and range of habitats, ranging from tundra's in the southern peninsula, to icy deserts in the north, covering much of the least inhabited states.

Its national animal is the Eganonent, a subspecies of the parrot, which is adapted to the sub-zero temperatures the nation often faces in the winter months. It inhabits the forests that span across the tundra and central parts of the country.

In terms of politics, Farro-sorn uses a presidential system consisting of a 98 seat lower legislative chamber and a 45-member upper chamber. Seats for the lower chamber are elected by Mixed Member Proportional vote (MMP) every 3 years, with 32 seats from constituency's and 66 coming from party vote. The upper chamber is elected by a First Past the Post (FPtP) system, with seats per state ranging from 1-12 depending on population. The head of state, currently held by Chancellor W. Sanders, is elected every 4 years on the 1st Saturday after June 5th, a tradition started because of the founding father, J. Russell’s association with the 5th being lucky.

The Left-wing populist party, ‘The Canine Party’, has been the dominant force in shaping Sornian politics since its inception after the fall of Zingzo. Other minor parties include the centrist Sornian Green Party, the centre-right nationalist ‘Tea Party Movement’ party, and the Avernik Freedom Coalition, who only run candidates in the state of Avernik

Farro-sorns main export is fish, logs, lampshades and highlighters and boogalicious music.

Originally under a feudal system until the Battle for the Sornian Republic of 1893, Farro-Sornian population numbers were dwindling, due to many native Sornians feeling they were being mistreated by King Zingzo (1888-1893) and were mass emigrating to neighbouring Glon Gloddiope. After 1893, Farro-sorn became a fully democratically run state, with the monarchy only playing a minor role until its abolition in 1981, nearly a century after the overthrowing of Zingzo. Post-Zingo, Farro-sorn experienced an unprecedented economic boom, with population rising an average of 2.1% year on year for the next few decades.

The states flag features 4 equally sized horizontal strips of colour, each representing its own part of Sornian life. The white at the top represents the many blizzards and environmental hazards they as a people have overcame. The blue represents the many explorers who have ventured out into the sea and brought glory to the Sornian race. The black represents the bedrock of equality Faron-sorn was built upon. Finally, the purple represents the wisdom and intelligence of the Sornian people.

Ethnicity breakdown:

89.4% Sornians

5.6% Diopens

3.9% Marotiki

1.1% Grenopians

The radio was only static as voices shouted over one another in the Lower Bridge as they bounded through the relentless storm. High Fleet Admiral Titus stood with the comms officer, attempting to fix the connection. A wave crashed into the hull of the super heavy cruiser with a great boom, silencing the furious roar of the wind and rain. Suddenly, the radio static went dark and the comms went live. "Sir, we have connection." The comms officer reported. "Good make connection with the Svarizians and tell them we're about to be arrive." Titus said

"Sir, are we ready to receive the Atlans?"
"Is the landing dock prepared?"
"It has been for the past week."
"Then you've got the green-light to give them the go-ahead" A dockworker responsible for preparing for the arrival of foreign diplomats discussed with his superior before returning to the telecoms to inform the Atlans of the proceedings.
To whom it may concern:
"The Alpine Kingdom is ready to allow for the Atlans to disembark from their vessel once they arrive; please station your vessel of transportation in the third dock on Trondelang Harbour Arm. After which, those required may continue to the Winter Palace to meet with Chief of the Diplomatic Corps - escorts may be provided if you cannot navigate the city. The Dockers' Guild will tend to the ship whilst the meeting takes place."

As the Atlan Party received the message, the storm had calmed as they closed in on the shore. The escort group pulled into the Third Harbour arm and was docked promptly. High Fleet Admiral Titus and the diplomatic procession exited from the Super heavy cruiser. They had earlier requested for a guide as none of them had ever been to Trondelang.
The rain pattered on the military uniforms and the professional suits as they were guided through the city to the Winter Palace; they had come up on its steps, the doors standing in grandeur far above them. The procession waited to be greeted and invited in.

After an agonising few minutes of waiting out in the rain, a young Svarizian civil servant notices the Atlans waiting around outside - understandably not knowing that the doors were open and the waiting area is inside - swing the door open and extended a helping hand to them.
"If you're ready, I shall guide you to Chief of the Diplomatic Corps Rujura Mushafabar, who is prepared to take your reception."

The Atlans, not with a bit of relief that they can come inside from the pouring rain, entered the building. As they came inside, they gazed around the Palace, taking in all its beauty and the magnificence of the many architectural structures which lay in it. They were promptly guided to the Chief of the Diplomatic Corps, whom the members of the Diplomatic Procession greeted. "I can say that it's very good to meet you sir" Titus said to him, saluting before shaking his hand.
Rujura took the hand tentatively, then went to fetch another chair for the Minister of Foreign Indignation to sit at.

"The pleasure is all mine; it's not often I see anyone besides myself in this office. Also, I apologise for the rather lacklustre seating arrangement, but as you might expect my department has never exactly been at the top of any government's priority list: but regardless, you know me and I know you, so let's talk business. What exactly is it you're after from my nation?"

As they all sat down, the Foreign Indignation Minister got straight to the point: "For the past 80 years, my nation has been in this firm isolation of based on religion and militarism. However, a recent development in our project requires us to go to a place more barren for a test. This place being the Arctic - a place which you have a very extensive knowledge of. It seemed reasonable that we reach out to you as it seemed profitable both ways."
"Whether it would be profitable or not, I need to know what it is you actually plan on doing up there before I can confirm any support for it - I'm not inclined to blindly throw money at a foreign nation's project I know nothing about. Furthermore, the Svalbardian Arctic base in Nwevo Øts-Neuf is rather... chilly, let's say, towards visitors, and you would need express permission to find your way there."
"Right, of course.." He nodded to Titus who looked at Rujura. "For the past 5 years, Project Void has been in construction at Tajikka Space Command Launch Base." Titus pulled a set of blueprints from Commandant Henrik of High Space Command, laying them out before him. "This, as you probably know, is an Orbital Assault Installation, which we have dubbed as OASIS. She is made, currently, to launch tungsten rods from orbit to gain a high kinetic velocity and impact on Utopia. We need to test her, she's currently being prepared for launch. We realize this will effectively, in technicalities, break our isolation, as space is international territory."

Mushafabar looked over the blueprints for several minutes, scrutinising over the details laid out on the page before coming to a conclusion.
"I believe these plans are most certainly something the military will see worth looking in to: as such, I shall present a proposal to you. Under the pretence that a. Svalbardian observers will be allowed to observe and obtain the results of the test, and b. no Svalbardian personnel or property is damaged without reason during the test, the Alpine Kingdom shall fund the experiment and provide a testing ground in Nwevo Øts-Neuf for you to conduct on. We shall also partially fund the tests, including the trips to and from Íslandica, as well as accommodation on the island whilst it is required. If this is agreeable to you, I shall merely contact the appropriate departments in my nation and the tests shall promptly go ahead - no need for any paper work as of yet, we can shake on it and be done."

All of the Atlans looked at each other, murmuring in agreement as Titus held out a hand. Rujura proceeded to take it and shook on the agreement. "Well, if we're done here then, you should probably find your way out - I doubt the Winter Palace is currently open for guide tours. I'll be sure to keep you updated on the situation, so there'll be no need to make first contact next time."
Titus nodded and led everyone out of the Palace back to the third arm of the Harbour. With haste, they boarded their ships and began the undocking period. And as soon as they had got here, they were gone.

Greater autenheim

Astana-Anders wrote:In a Autenik camp of 1,000, bullets fired from the forest of Veltus. They were confused and after suffering some casualties, over 5,000 Anderian soldiers charged with hatred and anger. They weren't soldiers of Blue Harper nor Anderian Anti-fascist Republician Guards instead they were soldiers of the Ultranationalist Republician Soldiers of U.R.S., a left-wing ultranationalist army who had attacked some Greater autenheim camps but now they were really going on the offensive.

The U.R.S. was created following a split within the A.A.F.R.G. The split was caused by the invasion of Astana-Anders with the ultranationalist side wanting to fight both the fascist and the Auten armies but Denmark Lore refused so Commander Ryan O'Darwin left with 15 million followers. Now Ryan was planning on kicking out every Autenik from Astana-Anders and then focus on Blue Harper. As he saw over 5 million soldiers preparing for a full assault, Ryan smiled.

Meanwhile in North Electrica:

Nicholas Allen after 5 days of flight finally landed in North Electrica. 2 days earlier he told his pilot to change course to New Electrica International Airport. 3 days later he is here. He was almost shot down but told ground control that they were surrendering. He was picked up by police and sent to a holding cell. Where he is currently awaiting a message from Christopher Stargazer.

Meanwhile in the Feng Dynasty:

Joseph Vargas is in his room. He is thinking about what Princess Taihe said. A hero? No, he is not one. At least right now. But when he saw what was going on in Astana-Anders he soon realized what had to be done. "Prussia...it is time." Joseph told his Chief Diplomat. "Right away sir." Said Prussia Werdin as he walked towards a guard. "Hello sir and long live the Empress, please could you send a message to the Empress by request of my glorious Lord President Joseph Vargas? Tell her that we believe it is time to reveal to the world Joseph is still alive to officially establish himself once again as the legitimate government of Astana-Anders and take control of foreign affairs once again. Such as congratulating Mrs. Diana of United brennia and finally leading the Anti-fascists to victory. Thank you and good day."

On the outskirts of Omni City, Brigadier General stood behind the amassed artillery line, encircling the city with barrels pointed at the great skyscrapers. "Progress and Equality...funny, isn't it" he said to the captain standing next to him. All of the military had recieved their new uniforms and they were dressed in the fine black of the new uniform. The captain looked up with a bit of a smirk and looked back at the city. "I'd say, yes. Are we prepared to unleash the barrage?" The captain asked. The brigadier general shook his head, going back to the small tent with a large map table. He pointed to the north at Rikurio and Zaultia provinces. "We have to wait for the North Electricans to arrive from the north, they need to assist us on the siege." he said, looking back outside.

The rest of the force moved pass Lesser Omni City and had moved north to meet up with the Electrican Forces, the Anderian forces growing thinner and thinner. With the Treaty of Yongan signed and soon to be taken into effect, the occupying forces who had already taken control of provinces conquered were setting up occupation. In the forest where the forces were ambushed by yet another rebelling force, they had retreated back to main camp and had held up for the attackers, heavy arms waiting to mow them down and move forward.

Siege of High Castle

If Autenhiem forces are able to see or pick up, Electran military forces have been hold up in a castle nearby Omni City as they have managed to hold out against an army of Astana military forces. Radio signals would be going out as they call for possible reinforcements to assist and Helldroppers began to tire put and fall in battle.

North of Omni City

Military forces has managed to break through Astana lines and nake their way towards the city, all the while killing or imprisoning retreating Astana soldiers to prevent them from regrouping and staging another attack. Quickly fallowing behind them was large transports (both air and ground) transporting new troops to the frontline to set up their own FOB, above aircraft made daring strafing runs on the city as they avoided AA guns (if there are any.

And a transmission was sent to the Brigadier General.

NE Officer: "Calling Greater Autenhiem forces, we are now establishing a base of operations outside the Enemy capitol. We suggest reinforcing our location and bringing more soldiers for the assault, as we still have some military forces still inside the city."

Meanwhile in the Same Major City
Designated as: Hansk City

The city is still in disarray as the battle continues on, a skyscraper that once made up a piece the skyline had collapsed to due a missile attack resulting in many deaths. As of now its known if AA or NE is at fault of that, but still fierce combat is seen throughout the city as they fight tooth and nail for it.

Speaking of fighting tooth and nail, it seems that a hotspot of fighting has grown over in a city park, once a place where kinds probably played and parents chat was now littered with craters and covered with soot, trees ripped up and sawed by bullets. There where even reports of Flametroopers deliberately setting trees on fire to force Astana forces to retreat. Hopefully the chaos will end soon.

"The Seven Hour Massacre."

2 PM,14th of January,2021
Beginning:

On January 14th a mix of workers and students started marching towards Novgograd city square protesting the end of the communist regime and one party system, in response to this riot police showed up halt the advance of the protesters.

The protesters were met with tear gas, blunt force attack and even small arms fire, this had enraged several students and workers who started using extreme approach by destroying public property, arson, vandalism and committing all sorts of crimes. As the student reached the city square most of the residents had been evacuated or forcefully moved from the area. The workers and student started a mass hunger strike outside the compound walls of Bessirisk Palace in the city center. One of the student leaders spoke thru a megaphone
"We want Freedom of speech and a democratically elected government not a tyrannical regime!" the protesters started repeatedly chanting his word again and again. By then the government had declared martial law the city was closed preventing anyone from leaving or entering, the army was called in and 3 divisions were awaiting order on outskirts of the city. State controlled news outlet accused the protesters of "Trying bring up civil unrest" this enraged the protesters who demanded the government take back their accusation.

5 PM,14th of January,2021
Escalation:

The riot police outside Bessirisk Palace suddenly started attack and clashing with the protesters showing extreme violence. After a massive clash enough was enough the army was ordered into the city, soldier in infantry mobility vehicle and A.P.Cs entered the city. Hostile protesters blocked the roads with cars and buses, in response to this soldiers in a line formation started firing on protesters while A.P.Cs and jeeps starts firing it mounted machine guns, the A.P.Cs easily crush the barricades making way for the soldier to reach the square.

As the army approached the riot police had been ordered to get out of the area, the oncoming soldiers wore N.B.C suits and were armed with grenade launchers and assault rifles. Soldiers who were armed with grenade launchers started firing grenades armed with toxic nerve gas at the crowd. While the protesters started fighting back by throwing Molotov cocktail, using home-made melee weapons and dragging tank crews out of their vehicles and beat them up.

9 PM,14th of January,2021
Conclusion:

After 4 hours of bloody battle the city square was littered with dead bodies, the soldiers start putting the bodies in bags and load them on trucks. Men wearing white protective suits started hosing the city square to clean up the immediate aftermath of the massacre, some of them started picking up left over trash, debris and belongings and put them in bags labeled as "Trash" and put them on trucks to be incinerated. Martial law would continue to be in effect until all remaining bodies were transported out of the city, the surviving protesters were either sent to prison camps or flat-out executed. Novgograd was occupied by a force of 30.000 troops to prevent any possible incidents from occurring, civilians were allowed back into the city after the cleaning phase was complete.

Aftermath:
In the end 2.000 protesters were killed during the massacre half of them being university students.
Due to Novoroyska being a closed nation not much was known about the incident, the government made sure nothing was leaked but small number of information of the event would slip thru the crack revealing some horrifying details of the massacre to foreign nations.
Some people even recorded the incident selling the recording in the black market for huge sum of money.

Slice of Life Arc

(OOC: At the request of someone, I am going to be making a slice of life arc, probably just one or two posts. It seems that life within Atlas is quite ambiguous and I'd like to make it a little clearer for meta reasons. So, here's the story of a baker living in Strikeheart City, I hope you enjoy!)

The buzz of the alarm went off with a quiet hum, Olaf twisted in bed as his eyes opened slowly, yawning into life. He turned to his alarm, tapping the button on top. He sat up, the bed creaking until his legs hit the floor, flexing his feet. His wife shifted in bed, Olaf closing his eyes tight, whispering under his breath. She spoke quietly, her voice soft. "Olaf, kallis, mis kell on?" Olaf sighed. Damn, I woke her up. "3:45 Olivia" he said, standing and walking towards the bathroom as she groaned, turning her face to the pillow and sighing into it. In the bathroom, he pulled a toothbrush and squeezed toothpaste onto it, brushing while looking at himself in the mirror. He spit the saliva mix of fluoride into the sink, rinsing his mouth with water and spitting it out. He walked out, going to the closet and pulling out black slacks and a bakers jacket, throwing it all on. He pulled socks on and went to the bathroom, combing his hair and pulling on shoes. He went to his wife, kissing her head. "Ma armastan sind, Olivia." he said, leaving the room. "Ma armastan sind ka, Olaf."

He stepped out into his driveway, opening his car door and stepping in. Olaf lived in the suburbs of Strikeheart City, but as you look out in front, just a few miles out, the massive skyscrapers rose out into the sky, like they could touch the heavens. Across the street, his neighbor Erik stepped outside, who gave him a small wave. As he sat in his car, he pulled his key and turned on the car. Overhead, a jet whirred past, the engine roaring through the night as it sped off into the distance. Olaf sighed, putting the car into drive and pulling out of the drive way, starting his trek.

"Good morning citizens of Atlas, please remember that due to the ongoing war in Astana-Anders, we are lacking the needed petroleum and oil. Please refrain from driving anywhere unnecessary until further notice" Olaf sighed, turning off the radio as he cruised down the SA-1, heading to the heart of Strikeheart City. It was nearly 5:11 and the sky was still dark as ever, the winds from the north howling as he sped down the Statistautobahn at 160km/h, pulling into the right lane and slowing to 120 and taking the off-ramp. He took the main roads into Old Strikeheart and took a parking spot in a large parking garage, making his way out and a few blocks away to a retail section. It was around 5:15 and he stood in front of his bakery, pulling the gate up and unlocking the door. Olaf sighed, a small smile coming to his face as he looked up at the sign 'Olaf's Bakery and Bistro'. "Tere hommikust" he said quietly as he entered.

In the back, he pulled open the freezer which held bags upon bags of flour and other backing materials. He grabbed the flour and set it on the counter, then opening the fridge to grab milk and butter. He set those on the counter and then grabbed sugar, salt, and yeast. He began creating the dough for the soft dinner rolls, his staple product. He made quite a few pans, putting them in the oven and then grabbing ingredients for bread. The bell jingled in the front, causing Olaf to look over to see. "Tere hommikust, Olaf" Ah, it was Lance Corporal Gregory, one of the soldiers stationed on his street. "Tere hommikust Gregory. I'm not open yet, how can I help?" Olaf said, coming to the front display counter. Gregory nodded, pulling a slip of paper. "Well actually, we've been issued quotas of collection. I'm here to give you yours." Gregory said, handing over the paper. Olaf took it with a worried look. The last time he remembered a quota was back in the 60s when he was a kid. His father owned this bakery, but left in the 70s after the quota to go fight in some war. Apparently we won cause he never came back, not a lot of the soldiers did. And the ones that did talked about how easy a war it was, and never spoke about it again. After that, he ran the bakery with his mother until she got sick and was sent away to the north. Then he started running the bakery. And ever since, he'd been waiting for papa to come home, but they must've been occupying that place for a while because he was sure his father had passed by then, it had been nearly 50 years and his father was 30 when he left.

Olaf came from his thoughts and nodded to Gregory, who smiled and waved goodbye. He looked at the quota paper, which gave out a request for 200 loaves of bread by the end of the week. Olaf groaned a little, pinning the paper to his board and going back to the bread. He shoved some loaves into the oven and began turning on the lights, setting tables, and setting in fresh displays. His bakery was a small one, but it was frequented by many people, and it helped keep him and his wife afloat for the past 40 or so years. He had gotten old with age but he still had the serving and cooking capabilities of a young waiter.

2 hours had passed and it was opening time. The sun was beginning to shine upon the horizon as Olaf flicked on the open sign, his first customer entering. Olaf smiled as the man took a seat, walking over to him. "Waloc, it's good to see you as usual." Olaf said. Waloc smiled as Olaf set down a coffee mug, pouring out some for him. "It's good to see you as well, how's the wife?" Olaf chuckled, going to the back, answering as he walked. "Oh you know how it goes, same old same old everyday" he said. Waloc laughed from the front as he came back. "Oh trust me, I know. Anyways, I'll take my usual" Waloc said, opening the book in his hand and putting on his glasses, beginning to read. Olaf had gone back to the kitchen to prepare Waloc's meal, two over-medium eggs with 3 bacon slivers with mashed potatoes topped with gravy and two thick wild boar sausages. Waloc had been Olaf's father's waiter, back in 75' he joined up with Olaf's father and he came back. He was still good old Waloc that Olaf remembered but...when he talked about how they won the war, he sounded so melancholy about it. But that was what Waloc said and so it must've been true as could be. But still...

Olaf brought out the plate to Waloc, setting it down and leaving to the back. Few people came in the early early morning, mostly just soldiers and the elder folk who wanted to get breakfast before duty and such. Olaf pulled the loaves out of the ovens and packaged them, putting them in a warmer to keep them fresh. He sighed and began rolling out more dough while going between the morning orders. In some hours, the sun had risen but was darkened by the thick grey clouds. The clouds had been ever present for some weeks now. Olaf shrugged it off as he threw another set of loaves into the oven. He pulled more orders and was serving, various meals and drinks, all sorts of local cuisine. As he went behind the display, a detail of City Security Officers entered and looked over at Olaf. "Olaf Heinzdrow? We have some questions for you" Oh dear.

Yotsubishi heavy industry

Luna orbit, Tsukuyomi-2(Destroyed UKMCK/Kjanaun colony) orbital debris
Months have passed since the years long repair of the Rias International Space Elevator has been complete. With the United Kingdom finally at peace once again some took this golden opportunity to return to the star ocean.
The Massive crater that was caused by Tsukuyomi-2 incident around 2 years ago could be seen on the main monitor of the command deck of the Yotsubishi Logistics freighter fleet. This was no ordinary cargo fleet, it was a massive construction fleet.
Hallways and rooms of the fleet were suddenly turned into red light. The crew quickly packed and locked their items into cabinets and rushed to the hallway where the seats are located. After fastening their seatbelts they took out a and injected themselves with blood vessel reinforcing drug.
The main thruster cuts off, small chunks of food in the kitchen started to float as thrust gravity weakens.
"Oh boy here it comes..." One of the senior crew said as he held onto his sickness bag.
The fleet began to turn, the crew held on tight to their seats as the G force pushes on them to the side.
This continued until the fleet has made a complete 180-degree turn. After restabilizing their course, the main thrusters were lighted up once again to 1G.
A sigh of relief could be heard through out the crew as gravity returned.
The construction fleet landed in a crater on a piece of orbiting space rock that was once part of the moon.
After securing their ships to the ground, the fleet began unloading their cargo as the drones began to mine deeper into the rock.
A construction project has begun on a nameless rock orbiting the moon.

Lake perseverance and Astana-Anders

--- Kuzikstani Times 14/1 ---
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The news reporter Inqer Isquneli takes a sip from his water bottle before he sits down in front of the camera, getting ready for the breaking news. He puts the bottle down on the table next to a small pile of papers having information of a recent event, which happened few hours after the invasion of Hurona was declared to be a victory for United Kuzikstan.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inqer: We're starting it soon?
Inqer asked from the cameraman.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cameraman: Starting when you're ready.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inqer took a deep breath and stared the camera.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inqer: We're ready.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cameraman: Okay, starting in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... and rolling.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inqer waited for the cameraman's permission to speak.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inqer: I'm Inqer Isquneli, welcome to the Kuzikstani Times. We've got some breaking news from Jhoelcen province, as a large group of armed people breached the walls of Fort Qandesuqi, the headquarters of the United Kuzikstani Ground Forces.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inqer: As we can see from these video tapes, a medium tank from late 40's breached the very old walls of Qandesuqi, making a nasty hole to the wall. The tank is followed by the military police, who were chasing the tank on streets for 5 minutes before the incident happened. We can also see the soldiers inside the fort running inside to warn others. It didn't take long until the 5 companies inside the fort were alerted to the mission to stop this tank from making any further destruction.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the same time, a video started rolling on the screen, which was taken from several CCTV cameras. The first camera points to the main gate of the fort Qandesuqi, which is surrounded by an old brick wall. Suddenly an old medium-sized tank rolls through the brick wall, making a large hole in it. Several soldiers can be seen running inside the main building to alarm other soldiers and staff. The tank is followed by 5 armored fighting vehicles, that were chasing the tank.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inqer: After about 20 seconds of pure havoc, the military police together with the ground forces managed to cut all the ways out from the tank. However, the tank drivers seemed to make a dangerous decision, as they shot a round towards the main building! The round hit right on the 2nd floor on the western side of the building. This was the time when the soldiers took an action, and shot an anti-tank missile to both track chains of the tank, making it unable to move. As far as we know, no one was hurt apart from the drivers, who were pulled out from the tank and slammed on the ground.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The tank in the video started driving donuts, as it's very soon surrounded by dozens of vehicles and armed soldiers. The CCTV camera shakes a lot for a second, as the round hit the building. At the same time, the track chains of the tank were destroyed and the drivers were quickly pulled out from the tank and knocked unconscious.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inqer: However, it didn't just end there. The armed forces got a message of hundreds of armed people making their way towards the fort. Some of these people seem to have even assault rifles and other firearms. The military police together with the army have barricaded the doors of the main building just in case if the mob somehow manage to get inside the fort. At the same time, the government has declared a curfew to certain parts of the Jhoelcen. The people seems to be the members of the Pro-Kjarlemadi movement, which was formed days after the United Kuzikstan participated in the war against the Astana-Anders.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next video has several short clips of a large mass of people walking on the streets and throwing green smoke grenades all around them. Many of the people in the mass are waving the unofficial flag of kjarlemad. Every 5th person seems to have some kind of weapon ranging from baseball bats to assault rifles.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inqer: The armed forces has the exact location of the mob, and they are on their way to stop the dangerous attack of the Pro-Kjarlemadi movement, and it's all believed to soon be over. The Kuz24/7, the biggest photo and video sharing social networking service in Shanting, has been recently flooding by images posted by Kjarlemadians posing with their armed weapons with the unofficial flag of Kjarlemad behind them. Most of these posts have been suppressed by the government, as these posts are definitely encouraging people to violence. The General Qanes Isquleu have informed that everything will turn back to normal in few hours as long as the members of the movement won't make any surprising turns.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inqer takes a sip from his water bottle and puts it away. He takes the last page of the document and puts the others away.

9.3 Earthquake in Northern Ákaltar Ocean Leads to Evacuation of Kjanuan Coast

Overnight a 9.3 earthquake in the center of the Northern Ákaltar Ocean has caused fears of a large tsunami and potential damage to Kjanu's coastal cities. The Earthquake, which occurred between the Czech strait and the Rias International Space Elevator, caused little damage to Kjanu but the resulting tsunami is expected to flood low-lying coastal cities like Nisemoto and Hirukawa-Machi. In response the Kjanuan Government has declared a state of emergency in the states of Shani and New Jakuran, and began a mass evacuation of all citizens in those areas. President Karugama Mayumi is reportedly attempting to work with the states of Miotia and Candor to further evacuate before the tsunami hits.

Construction on Expansion to Tsukuyomi-1 Begins

Following the reconstruction of the Rias International Space Elevator President Karugama Mayumi has announced the construction of a residential expansion to Tsukuyomi-1. The wing is projected to hold 1,000 new residents of the lunar base, complete with a shopping center, school, and artificial park. Construction is already underway, with Kjanuan shuttles leaving the Rias International Space Elevator daily carrying materials for the project. In response to reports of shuttles stopping at large rocks near the moon and beginning construction on an unannounced project, President Karugama responded dismissively, saying "The shuttles are also responsible for building a stable supply line between the moon and our elevator, and there are rocks large enough to serve as stations for our craft. They simply are constructing a emergency refill station for our craft."

Kjanuan National Assembly Reconvenes in Etsuyoki

Following the destruction of Neo Neo Neo Jhanthu for the third time in a decade, the Kjanuan government has rebuilt most of its governmental institutions in the larger, coastal city of Etsuyoki. Serving as the most populated city in Kjanu, and widely recognized as one of the cultural centers of the world, Etsuyoki is now the de facto capital of Kjanu. While there has been no comment on if Neo Neo Neo Jhanthu will be stripped of its status as the administrative capital, the government has stated it has no plans to return to the city until it can be fully reconstructed.

As Bridgette Coleson looks outside of her window, in the direction toward the Anderian border. It becomes clear to her that now is a perfect time to strike back at her oppressors. She had once respected Astana-Anders, especially Joseph Vargas who, unlike everyone else in 2015, was somebody who understood and deeply empathize the pain of Zahireans and advocated for their nation's independence. Now with Blue Harper, her faith in any restoration of positive relations between the two nations was shattered. She had switched parties from the Liberal Party to Advance! A minor left-wing party which after she switched to in order to win the election in 2021 had gotten an extra 11 seats, the majority of which was from the Liberal Party.

Now, she began to think of ways to get back at Astana-Anders for everything that has ever happened to them. To them, Blue Harper represents Astana-Anders. Tomorrow is the anniversary of Vanessa Rhodes birthday. Vanessa Rhodes was one of the revolutionaries who along with Dimitri, Jessie, Joseph, and Avery helped overthrow the monarchy and established a republic. But unlike everyone else, she was ethnically Zahirean and actively spoke for Zahirean Independence when she was alive. "Mrs. Bridgette. We receive word on how the The Atlas Archipelago views the world of Northern Utopia and we have news that might be good for us." Said her Vice Chancellor, Emma Red. As she looked at the report as well as the history of the Crusades, it reminded her of the old Zahirean Crusades back in the 1100s, when the Democratic State of Zahirean Order was still free. During those Crusades, Zahirea expand their territory to amazing levels before Astana-Anders annexed them a century later. Then, an idea hit her head. "Ask however is in charge of The Atlas Archipelago if they would be interested in an alliance?" Said Bridgette.

The news reporter Inqer Isquneli takes a seat once again, as he is readying up for another broadcast about the situation in Jhoelcen.

Inqer: I'm Inqer Isquneli, welcome back to the Kuzikstani Times. We have some updates about the Jhoelcen situation here.

Another series of videotapes starts rolling having footage from streets of suburban Jhoelcen, which are filled by large mansions which are protected by tall walls. Several armored personnel carriers can be seen going on full speed towards the area, which is captured by the Kjarlemadi mob.

Inqer: The situation in Jhoelcen has gone back to normal, as the military police successfully managed to break down the mob 5 minutes after the Kjarlemadians were encircled. However, a few shots were fired, and caused 6 protesters and 1 military police officer to be brought to the hospital. Luckily they are all in stable condition. 72 protesters were arrested for illegally carrying weapons and threatening the military, and other civilians with them.

The broadcast shows several pictures of the incident, showing the heavily armed military police blocking the road with their armored cars and barricades from the front and behind of the protesters. There is also a few pictures of the injured protesters carried away to ambulance and others being arrested in background. The last image shows a stack pile of guns and ammunition.

Inqer: Out of 198 protesters, 69 had weapons in general. Out of those 69, 30 were armed with firearms. Almost all protesters had smoke grenades, which were still thrown when the protesters were encircled. As things were about to go worse after the first shots, the military police got an order to throw stun grenades to the crowd, which stopped the further escalating. Only two minutes later, the military police had a full control in the situation and thanks to them, no one was seriously injured or died. The Prime minister of United Kuzikstan Sjazkera Bjuzka held a small speech about the happenings in Jhoelcen.

The broadcast shows the footage of Bjuzka's speech in Kuzikstania.

Sjazkera: ... As we all know, a large mass of armed Kjarlemadian protesters caused a lot of havoc in one of our most beautiful cities, Jhoelcen. They caused serious destruction and panic in our community, making many innocent civilians fear for their lives. As everyone knows, such action is very extreme, cruel and dangerous, especially if it's made by a large group. Those who were part of this illegal and possibly even life-threatening protest, or supported it in any way, shall under aggravating circumstances be guilty and punished according to what the law and statutes prescribe for each and every offense separately. For the last time, we don't want a new war in our great society. Thank you.

Sjazkera steps aside from the podium as the large crowd starts applauding. Sjazkera walks back to his limousine, getting ready to go back to home.

Tara felt clammy and sweat drenched in her carbon-fibre tactical gear. Her face was shielded from the piercing cold winds from the east, moving the masses of sand across the baron lands. Tara had been positioned on the 4 pm to 2 am gate watch shift. She knew what was coming, soon there would be the cries of the refugee families throwing themselves against the gates, desperate to get in. Right on cue, she saw about 7 figures shuffling across the wasteland beyond the border, they wore only rags and tattered clothes. "Pshhhhhssssssssss", the second towers beamlight illuminated the desert, Tara's eyes darted from the dishevelled travellers to the tower and back again, they had hidden from the beam and were now sneaking towards the gate- her gate. Another faceless grunt stood in the shadows controlling the beamlight. "Why would they even want to get in here" she wondered to herself, "this place is only full of hate and pain", but she knew why, she'd seen the horrors of the deserted lands. Many had to resort to resort to cannibalism to survive the blistering days and the freezing nights. "People shouldn't have to live like this, no one should, if they can make it through the gates and to the sewers... they'll be safe". Before she knew what she was doing, her hands were clenched around the lever to the gate. Just as she did she, Tara heard the whir of the beamlight increase, the people were now visible and before she could warn them a sonic boom came from the beamlight, blowing one of them off their feet and throwing them into a boulder. "RUN!" she screamed to the remaining 6, as she heaved the gate open. The refugees were mere meters away from the gate and they were going to make it if they could just- "BOOM!"... Tara fell to the ground, a hole through her head. Black goo fell from her forehead, and another bullet penetrated through her hand, exposing the wires and metal in her. That's when she realised she was... a droid. Her life had been a lie.

The centre of the capital was the "Father" tower, it dominated the skyline. The higher up the building, the higher up the status of the employee, until you reach the top- the home of Mirogh. In his office, he sat upright and rigid in his chair, tapping heavily at the keyboard that lay below him, he was only illuminated by the pale glow of the moonlight. He paused... only to have his hand rise up and slam down on the key board, clicking the "enter" key. A maniacal stretched smile extended across his pointed face, leaving no area unaffected; his eye brows rose, his eyes shrank and his nose flared. "For the good of the country" he chuckled "Father knows best..."
Not far away, but miles below, another person is snatched. But hey, who's going to do anything about it when everything is corrupt...

"I don't have a lot of time, I know they will be on they're way to get me soon. My name is Hughbert Abernoth, I am a scientist working in the Farther Tower, I work on level -72...Yes... You heard me right... -72. Although the tower clearly protrudes from the ground up, only those with authority pass code SECTER 250 know how far bellow it penetrates the ground, only those know the true horrors that occur. The further and further down you go the more macabre and disturbing the experiments become; the homeless, the poor even the damn refugees are snatched off the street and taken. They take those they know no one will miss, those that if they disappear, it will be a mere blip that quickly dies away.
I should have done more to stop this, but until recently I worked on level -27, it was only basic level cloning and few psychological experiments. But they moved me. The things... the god damn things I have seen down here. Cutting things off animals and stitching them to people to create hybrids is the least worse thing down here. I have been placed on something much more dangerous. All of us scientists were aware of the military robots that they were creating, complete with a full fake life story. The poor things think they've been living for 20+ years, when they've been activated for 5 minutes. I was forced to work on they're new military... sleeper agents. They steal these people off the streets and then brainwash them with emotional flooding and other horrific techniques, then they're carted off back onto the streets to carry on as normal... until activated. I found a way to- wait- DAMN IT! They're at my door. I've downloaded all I know on to a INFODRIVE, I've hidden in my apartment. Oh god... this is the end for me. If we can just get to one- (Gun Fire). Just... Find... The INFODRIVE..."

Minvera adjusted the camera's lens, a city burned beneath her, the delicate array of spying lenses gave her an unfettered view from the languishing orbit of the Fury, with her vision satisfied she pushed gently on the leather coated button and for a scant instant mirrors snapped into place and projected the bombarded warzone upon high grain film.
"Never took you for photography." Alamond mumbled as he approached the veritable studio assembled within the cold metal room, "Not much else to do up here, may as well document the world." Minvera replied as she stretched out her fingers, a moment spared to shake down her arms to relieve the stiffness that had built up over the hours of precise tumbling of the elaborate camera's knobs.
Pulled from an spy satellite and reassembled in the scant off hours she got, the film grain was sub-par to what she could source but the lenses were a multi-million dollar collection of synthetic crystals, flawlessly ground down and balanced within to create an intensely detailed image.
Flashed onto the much vaunted and extreme-grain film sourced from Lillium, the metal-cornered leather-bound protective case slid out from the bottom of the mechanical assembly as she motioned to the black coated encampment, Alamond took several glances and a double take to spy the black on black construct.
Inside through the double zip-up doors was several heavy tables covered in chemical beds, the plastic containers many square meters wide with a constant gentle flush of liquid that rolled along their bottom.
Alamond stood back and coughed, the unfamiliar and unpleasant scents harsh upon his lungs, "Documentation eh?" he said through a forced smile, even in the poor red lighting Minerva could see his discomfort, "Still set off by a little old acid huh?" she replied with a jab to his side.
With her bag set down inside Minerva quickly led the coughing Alamond through another set of zipped up doors, with great care placed to ensure that it was indeed sealed Minvera jogged through the hazy dark and flipped a heavy sounding switch, as soon as it clanked into place two dozen high-temperature halogen lamps bathed the small make-shift gallery in a warm glow.
A soft-white tiled floor sat below rows of pictures hung from taught fibrious lines, each one a meter square and each one a scene of a battle taken from the skies above, the extreme granularity of the film was revealed as Minvera handed Alamond a simple plastic-bound magnifier.
With a shrug he leaned in close to one of the pictures off to the side, uniformed soldiers in abundance scattered through a city with dull coloured tanks of one nation or another seemed to be caught in various stages of firing.
Smoke poured upwards, he quickly lost count of the sheer amount of figures in various states of life and death... the people were but abstract shapes, the entire snapshot of the field must of covered dozens if not hundreds of square kilometers.
"So what do you think?" Minvera asked as she folded her arms together, "It's like one of those find the fish pictures, only we're the fish." Alamond replied.
"Something like, bit experimental, that one I think is some northerner spat, wasn't documenting too great during my whole... figuring it out." Minerva rambled before motioning to the others, these ones sporting simple tape and markers showing a date and orbital inclination in rough hand-drawn formatting.
Alamond walked over and pointed to one of a stark swirling inferno that consumed a concrete urbanscape, his quick glances about revealed the frozen snapshot of a city in its final days, "Wonder why they bother at that point." He mused aloud, to which Minerva rambled "Way I saw it from up here, that's the home of the dude who started it and the others really wanted to make a point." in reply.
"They need Irene alright." Alamond stated with a chuckle, Minvera jabbed his side with her elbow again, "Yeah they all do, lets go get some coffee."
So they did.
