More Presidential Candidate Nominations Confirmed
The Nomination Process for the Presidential Election continues as two more candidates are to face Joss Hertzfeld (the only prior announced nomination for the position), each recieving the minimum number of nominations from their fellow members of the Socialist Unity Party.
The first of these candidates is The Archbishop of Prague, Erik Dvořáček. Standing on a policy he refers to as "Socialism with Christian Characteristics", Comrade Dvořáček believes in the implementation of socialism through the lens of catholic teachings and promises to build a socialist society based on the foundations of religious principles. He is more than accepting of the other faiths within Danubia, however believes that the teachings of the church can be implemented universally while respecting the rights of Danubian Minorities to practice their religions in peace. Endorsed by the Danubian Catholic Church and many openly religious members of the Socialist Unity Party, he has gained an unexpectedly significant following which has allowed him to claim a spot on the ballot.
Secondly, nominations from the Solidarity Federation, Danubian Antifascist Network and the Libertarian Socialist Union have united to put forward their candidate of Lucia Rosetti for the presidency. An outspoken anti-authoritarian, anarcho-syndicalist, libertarian socialist and eco-anarchist; she stands opposed to the positions of Hertzfeld which claim that a strong central government is necessary to protect Danubias people. Rosetti instead claims that Danubia needs more devolution and more powers granted to the people and local authorities. She wishes to implement a truly bottom-up style of government and seeks to implement limited direct digital democracy in some feilds as a transitional period until other government institutions can adopt the model (if it is successful).

The Union hopes that whatever path Danubia takes, the government will still honor the deals that are currently in place and are open to further rebuilding contracts and also offers of restoration of historical buildings such as Pirkstein Castle in Rataje nad Sázavou and Sázava Monastery, which we hope will be fully completed due to it's unfinished state for the past few hundred years.

The United States is in all manners speaking, a nation lead by hypocrites. The American Population is largely okay and decent people. You have the moronic leadership to blame.
The American government is one that preaches self-determination. But it does not allow for it. It parades the worlds oceans praising peace with guns pointed at us.
America chokes out the hemisphere it resides in by militarizing a world trade route and claiming it is to keep it safe. It is smoke. It is done to conduct “free trade” with guns pointed at us.
America claims it is in equal footing to the world, while it bully’s nations, threatens trade, threatens self-determination, and threatens freedom. It doesn’t care about equal footing so long as the ground is taller beneath its feet, so it can tower over all with guns pointed at us.
It is a shame that the American people, who are so cared for, and so healthy, and so grateful, that they are cared for and healthy, while guns are pointed at us.
America is a nation administered by thieves, a nation that is controlled by the dirty reds and the freakish fascists. They know not the middle ground. They only commit treason to humanity. They are a scar that needs to be removed. All while we fight for liberation from the tyranny of American perfectionism, we fight with guns pointed at us.

"So recently, a letter written by some rando in Greece has complained that the American government is moronic. Well, while I would like to agree on several points, I would like to point that we Americans reach out more than the so-called caring Soviets. Who was it that offered to rebuild vast tracts of Donau-bundesreich? Who was it that offered to restore the damaged or ruined historical buildings? Who was the one that offered to feed, cloth and care for the injured and homeless from the twin disasters that struck Eulumia? It was the Federal Government of this grand nation! Yes we have our flaws and at times act bull-headed but when it's time to aid our neighbors, we set aside our pride and get right down to business. We rebuild, we restore, we repair any and all damage that can be inflicted upon a nation. Hell, if Greece itself was in trouble and needed a major rebuild following disasters, the Union would be the first in line with building material and cash and not ask for repayment! Strong winds rattled windows and roared over the landscape as heavy rains lashed the ground while lightning and thunder flashed and rumbled ominously, a heavy storm to be sure. However this was of no concern for the awaiting security detachment that led the Furstian delegation to a motorcade and swiftly began their journey to The Istana building, the traditional residence of the governor of Singapura. Passing multiple security measures, they transited past the main gates and up to the curved driveway and escorted the Furstian guests inside. Inside the main entrance stood the Eulumian Grand Chancellor and several high ranking government officials and aides to these individuals. Smiling as the doors closed behind them, the Grand Chancellor bowed slightly in respect of her guests and spoke.
Grand Chancellor: "Selamat, my Furstian friends, I am so happy to see you made here safe. It has been a long journey, let's get to the meeting room immediately and get you refreshments."
She said with a warm and welcoming tone before turning around and walking up the staircase behind, flanked by Eulumian government officials as she lead the way to the meeting room. With everyone inside, the Eulumian delegation and even Grand Chancellor herself waited to seat themselves until their Furstian counterparts were seated. Water was poured for everyone and it was made clear that there was a variety of beverages and food available after the initial meeting as the Grand Chancellor didn't want to keep them too long after such a long journey.
Grand Chancellor: "Welcome to Singapura! I am honored to have you here today and I am most excited to begin in depth talks about what's to come from further cooperation between our states. The main principles and ideas that I would like to propose are, but not limited to: VISA free travel, an international student exchange program, the construction of an Eulufoods factory within Furstia, lowering or abolishing existing tariffs and further trade agreements, cooperation and collaboration, and an in depth look at environmental initiatives taken on by our nations."

A Different Type of News
A powerful storm has been sweeping across the western provinces of the archipelago nation over the last several days with torrential downpours pummeling the tropical nation. While this is nothing short of uncommon for the Eulumian people, a video from earlier today has gone viral; it captured the exact moments a Eulumian cruise ship's bridge was struck with lightning. The Putri Safir, or Sapphire Princess, is a cruise ship traveling with holidaymakers from around the globe from Northern Sumatra to Northern Borneo to showcase the natural beauty of the Eulumian environment, with two stops in the Riau Islands and Singapura. The ship has just taken off from Sinagpura to make its final leg of the cruise to Northern Sumatra when it had to dock temporarily in a Sinagpura port while the storm picked up in intensity, delaying the cruise's itinerary. While the ship was docked in port, a massive bolt of lightning struck the ship's bridge, immediately causing black acrid smoke to begin billowing skywards in spite of the heavy rains. The ship's navigation system took the brunt of the damage and were completely destroyed with several minor systems being damaged yet repairable; thankfully nobody was harmed from this event.
In other news, while the rains lash the western portions of the nation, eastern Eulumia is seeing crisp blue skies and hot sun sun sun. Particularly noticeable today is a happy story taking place just off the coast of Gorontalo, North Sulawesi, with numerous families and people stopping and getting out of their cars to join peoples on the beach to watch as a pair of Great Blue Whales were spotted. Hundreds of people watched in awe as these massive beasts graced the island with their presence, breaching the water's surface multiple times as they swam back and forth, seemingly enjoying putting on a show for their crowd of onlookers. Unfortunately though, this spectacle only lasted for a total of about fourteen (14) minutes before the huge sea creatures decided to continue on their way eastwards towards Muluku.

Finally, they open a bedroom door to find their target. They grab him and maneuver back through the village, where a helicopter grabs them and takes them away.

Editorial - Breaking News: Brave Hellenic Citizen calls out what many are afraid to do: The Union Hypocrisy
Moscow — Comrades. Today a concerned citizen from Hellenos using the pseudonym, "Publius," wrote an open letter discussing the hypocrisy of the Union Government. Their courage is boundless. To criticize the Union Government is to put a target on your back. After all, this is the same government that carpet-bombed an entire city of innocent people to take out less than 10 “terrorists.” I applaud their courage to call out the American hypocrisy.
As their letter rightly points, the Union Government prides itself with "self-determination" and wanting to "spread democracy across the world." Let there be no mistake. This “spread” is through blood and iron. Through the invasion of innocent people and their enslavement, only for the commercial benefit of American corporations. The most glaring example is the illegitimate invasion of Donau-bundesreich by a fleet of 6 aircraft carriers and a force of more than half a million troops. The Communist forces in Danubia, very heroically, stood up against this psychotic menace and kept the country free and independent.
Beyond this, the American Aggression - painted with pretty slogans of democracy and freedom to disguise its dark face - is prominent evidence of late-stage capitalism. American corporations, hungry for more profit and exploitation, buy out politicians (through "donations") and order them to invade nations left and right. Once democracy is "exported" (read this as: once a puppet regime is established), American corporations can run wild and squish as much profit as possible from the now enslaved people. Comrades, are you surprised that President Dawes is still in power even after carpet-bombing a city and killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people? Are you surprised that she is still in power even after supporting the torturing and execution of children (through the so-called "Slicing") in the Qing territories? You should not be, Dawes doesn't work for the American people. She works for her "donors" and as long as she does whatever they tell her, no matter how egregious, she can remain in power.
The Anonymous Letter also touches on something that perhaps our Soviet people know too well: America's "Free Trade." When our Soviet Government denounced the Union Government's constant aggressive threats in Latin America (what happened to self-determination?), the Dawes Administration called the Soviet Union hostile and it set economic sanctions on our people. Can you imagine that calling out aggression is suddenly an aggressive move itself? But this is where our friend's letter comes into play. The Union conducts free trade while pointing guns at whoever thinks differently - again, what happened to self-determination?
And this is the thing. This is the "ugly truth" that our friend Publius openly stated and that many across the world know but are too afraid to say it aloud: The Union only loves democracy; the Union only loves Free Trade; the Union only loves Self-Determination; the Union only loves all these things when it is convenient to them. When it is not? Suddenly you have a gigantic fleet at your doorstep ready to "export democracy."
This is the tragic hypocrisy that we face today and that grows ever more powerful, threatening the peaceful coexistence of the many people across the world. This increasingly stronger force is a sort of Axis of Evil, concentrated in the corrupt elites of Imperial Eagle, 
Infiny and Da qing empire. These are elites that preach about peace, about self-determination, about justice and prosperity...but only when it is convenient to them. These are elites that despite committing so many war-crimes (from torturing and executing children to invading and bombing countries), manipulatively point their fingers at others and accuse them of "committing war-crimes."
But dear comrades, watch out! For your sake don't forget to sing your praises to these elites. To Ms. Dawes, who talks about reconstruction and progress even though her administration carpet-bombed a city and invaded a country. To Queen Valeria II, who talks about reforms and democracy... while being a monarch? (Are we actually doing a second take on enlightened absolutism?) To Emperor Dongfeng, who seeks global praises for green initiatives while torturing and executing children and crushing any form of dissent. These are the elites who want you to point fingers at the boogeyman (Communism) so that they can continue to plunder the weak behind the scenes.
To end, I agree with our anonymous friend, Publius. This is a treason to humanity. And for the sake of our children, of our grandchildren, of our great-grandchildren, I hope that we can come together and reject their project of destruction.

EZLN RESPONSE
The Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN) has responded to an offer by the Socialist Republic of Furstia to mediate the conflict between the Rebel Zapatistas and the Yucatec Government.
EZLN has agreed to attend a meeting, however the primary leader of EZLN, Subcomandante Reyes, asks that the meeting not be held in Yucatan, and that more protection be granted to representatives of EZLN and the Rebel Zapatista Autonomous Municipalities (MAREZ), as there is fear that the Yucatecos will attempt to make a move to arrest Rebels if given the chance.
Those chosen to represent the rebels will be:
•Subcomandante Sara
•Subcomandante Luchó
•Silvana Saenz, a well respected Zapatista teacher and member of the Councils of Good Government
•Chen Reyes, another respected member of the Councils of Good Government.
EZLN asks that a temporary truce be respected by both sides of the conflict while the meeting takes place. Most believe that nothing will come from the meeting.

Sára Pásztor Reaches Nomination Target
Comrade Sára Pásztor has been confirmed as the latest candidate for the presidency. Referring to herself as a pragmatist, a democratic socialist, a moderate and a republican she promises to maintain a normality in Danubian Politics. Refusing to partake in ideological divides she promises to work on all sides to ensure normality in Danubian Politics. Unlike other candidates, she has been a vocal critic of the International Cooperation Council and believes that it threatens peace in Danubia and across the world promising to end Danubias membership of the ICC and seeking to improve relationships with western nations such as Infiny and the Union.
Pásztor is the fourth candidate to be confirmed for the nomination as the end of the nomination period draws ever closer.

Eulumia's own anthem actually doesn't possess any lyrics and is purely instrumental, in an effort to not favor any one group of people within the extremely diverse nation over one another. It's titled All Stars Burn As One as yet another testament to unifying the Archipelago nation's hugely diverse population. It was introduced shortly after independence from Orange-Bourgogne.
