an eu iv game that got out of hand a bit :p

It's an alternative Kingdom of the Netherlands founded in the 15th century with Van Renesse (coat of arms in the center) as the ruling dynasty.

Hello there! I would like to bring to the attention of the region the existence of the proposal to Condemn Penglai in the Security Council. I feel it would be a good step forward, as they are clearly against the Assembly and most of the nations within the region go against our beliefs. Their stats also prove this point very well (Top 9% Wealth Gaps, Top 83% Income of Poor.) They are also a extremely large region, as they are in the top 0.05% when it comes to nations in their region.

What's the basis for the condemnation? That it's merely a passworded puppet-storage region? Sure, that can be an annoyance to other regions trying to rank high, but really? I don't see much activity or communication that indicates aggressive behavior. Yet I do see two SC proposals targeting the region. This seems like a vendetta or a scheme to get trophies...

New flag? Why was I not consulted?

Ah, it may be. I was unaware that it was a puppet storage region.

Greetings from Adrina!

Being one of many environment-friendly nations, it is our duty to gather support of other nations in the Democratic Socialist Assembly (DSA) to be more environment friendly as a region altogether. That is why we propose the following :

DSAE ACT ( DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST ASSEMBLY ACT )

1. All nations shall direct more spending of their annual GDP towards Environment

2.Minimum percentage distribution of GDP for nations whose economy is not strong/weak i.e developing shall be about 5% and that of strong and developed shall be about 9% and above

3. States should have at least 100 pounds of wildlife per square mile

4. A minimum of 500 score is to be maintained on the Dolphin Recycling Awareness index

5. Considering the impact of mining on our environment, it is a request to all nations to reduce mining activities gradually, provided there is no significant harm to their economies. This step may require a change of policy, but will be better in the long run for our surroundings. A standard limit on the index can be set up

6. Fishing and timber wood-chopping can be reduced or brought down at a standard level for all nations

* This is just a rough note with no format!

Adrina thanks you all for your acknowledgement of the same. We hope that sufficient action is taken upon this.

I’m going to be as nondismissive as possible in my response.

1. Members of Congress can propose laws to the Assembly. You have not opted into the Charter, and thus cannot propose laws until you join.

2. The law would be an Amendment, requiring two thirds of the Congress to consent to its passage.

3. The RMB isn’t where legislation is to be proposed. We have a forum with a system set up for such procedures. This is because only Members of Congress May vote on legislation. This isn’t restrictive because MOST people can join Congress

3. This legislation would effectively cut our region’s residents by 85 nations as of this post using just one provision, not to mention the many others.

4. Analyzing the restrictions on every nation would require an enormous amount of work, most of which would fall on myself, Bananaistan, and Solus unus. If you’d want to do this work, you should apply to join Congress and run for a position.

5. That being said, I don’t think the approximately 27% of the region affected by this just one of these restrictions would take kindly to them.

6. I appreciate the gusto but leftism does not mean environmentally friendly policy. Our only restrictions are on Civil and Political rights. This isn’t Forest.

I’ve worked hard to bring the DSA back from the brink with just over 100 Nations. I’m not here to tear it all down again to enforce such rules. As President of the DSA, I’m firmly against such a restriction.

While we greatly appreciate your enthusiasm, and I say this as one of our green members, the minimum requirements would effectively negate recruitment efforts. Most of the newer players have great difficulty figuring out the tricky issues and would very likely exhaust the grace period for our current residency requirements. I don't feel that making the region more restrictive and exclusive would be conducive, as punishing nations without instructions or aid would be counterproductive to our efforts. However, educating members on various issue effects would help them to make informed environmental choices.

as the same country has a strong environmental base with you, I agree on your efforts to make DSA countries pay attention to the environment.

however, this region does not pay much attention to the environment. Therefore, maybe you (and me) can consolidate together for DSA to pay more attention to the environment, but still with DSA ways

keep struggling, and don't forget to always keep our environment!

As a newer nation of the Democratic Socialist Assembly and Nation States as a whole, my current statistics and standards do not reflect my goals for environmental protection, and I assume a decent amount of other nations do not fulfill this criteria.

However, the environment is important to the nations and the people, so I do agree with more encouragement of, and education on, environmental standards without jeopardizing the region's recruitment.

On a meta level, I'm drafting dispatches to explain Rosengarten's green infrastructure and environmental standards even though that isn't currently reflected in my statistics.
