SASKIA - LIFE WITH THE GERMANS

The recruitment for a professionnal army of the PGC

At the LINDER base, they are 500 recruits, all with new uniforms and a new patch of the Chad flag. They are part of a newly recruited brigade integrated temporarily within the Bundeswehr. The Chad Brigade of the Bundeswehr begins its training.

The Commanding Officer, Major-General Ruperich begins his speech with the Chad soldiers at attention.

"I ONLY HAVE FOUR RULES WHEN YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR RIFLE

    1. A WEAPON MUST ALWAYS BE CONSIDERED LOADED
    2. NEVER POINT OR LET POINT THE CANON OF A WEAPON ON SOMETHING YOU DO NOT WANT TO DESTROY
    3. KEEP THE INDEX OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL ALL THE AIMING SYSTEMS ARE ON THE OBJECTIVE
    4. BE SURE OF YOUR ENVIRONEMENT AND THE TARGET
    "

The recruits begin their 90 days training from physical exercises, to discipline and singing, targets, tactical training in day and at night.

But interestingly, these soldiers were introduced to concepts of human rights.

A new administrative work

The German mission in Chad not only involved a military part but also a strong civilian part. Public servants in Chad have been often working under difficult conditions and with little support.

The Bundeswehr created the Central Office for the Repression of Crime (CORC) in which the Chad Police and Bundeswehr would report crimes and activities and register the offenders to cross examine them later.

All checkpoints were now linked to the CORC so anyone leaving or entering would be known.

The schools of Chad were also reorganised. Children who were not registered were slowly getting back into the academic system. Many parents had taken their children out because of the fear or attacks.

But the most important change was the creation of the new Prefecture. This building, which was temporary, became the central administrative point in N'djamina for all affairs including ID cards, births and deaths, civil status, military engagements etc.

The Bundeswehr registered 200 new recruits in a month of presence and sent them to FOB ERFURT for training. In two months, 1890 soldiers received their Certificate of Aptitude for Combat, certified by the Prefektur.

A presence that disturbs certain part of the population

But "white faces" as they are called are not always welcome. Certain Bundeswehr police checks are tense and have led to some arrests. Last week, a young Chad teenager assaulted a Bundeswehr officer during a routine inspection of his car. Naturally, the armed soldiers did not even put a hand on their weapons but used their batons and handcuffs to control the individual.

He was detained 24 hours and released with a court presence the next month. Perhaps this sort of justice was more adapted that brutal violence and death, something clear outside the PGC.

There was also a feeling that the Germans were slowly taking too much space. While France, Spain, or the SGRI, or the arab states made military presence, Germany was using military presence but also civilian presence in areas of justice, administration and perhaps even more.
At the microphone of Deutsche Welle, a protestor, aged 30 to 40, shouts at the Prefektur and especially at the guards.

Protestor : These Germans think they can police us. That they are the new authority here. Like F*CK NO ! GO HOME WHITE FACES ! You look sick and you make me sick ! Since when you know this country better than we do ha ?!

Journalist : Sir why do you protest ?

Protestor : BECAUSE I DONT WANT THESE WHITE FACES TELLING US WHAT TO DO. I DONT TELL YOU HOW TO RUN GERMANY. SO WHY YOU COME HERE AND START MEDDLING IN OUR BUSINESS ? LOOK AT THEM. ALL SERIOUS. THEY REALLY DONT LOOK FUN. THEY JUST WORK. THEY JUST WANT YOUR ID ALL THE TIME. YOU DONT HAVE PAPER ? NO SERVICE. YOU HAVE NO PRESCRIPTION ? NO DRUGS. YOU HAVE NO REGISTRY OF RESIDENCE ? NO SCHOOL.

    he spits

SERIOUSLY. ITS LIKE THEY HAVE A BIG PANZER YES ? PANZER IN THEIR ASS MY FRIEND

The journalist left as he continued protesting. The guards didn't pay attention. The German flag ironically flew above this scene. And perhaps there was a sense of weirdness.

But the presence of Germany was indeed making the capital safer. In two months, 510 judicial informations were opened, leading to 43 arrests. Schools were filling more progressively and the German army was slowly integrating itself into Chad society.

Khartoum, The Republic of Sudan
November, 2022 - Sudan Temporarily Scales Down Invasion Forces and Changes Operation Classification to Intervention

As expected, Sudan was received
with a mixture of both stained and positive relations from the global community towards its act in Chad. Despite the international community claiming that Sudan has no businesses in Chad, the Sudanese government has stated otherwise in a statement by Deputy Minister of the Democratic Unionist Party Anib Gazaal concerning the threats made my interventionist powers in Chad.

DM Anib Gazaal (DUP-WN) :| "Sudan will not stand for threats by the same countries who accuse us of invading Chad when they come from across the earth only to unleash savagery and brutality on the unfortunate people of Chad. However Parliament has sent me to announce that the Sudanese Parliament on behalf of the Republic of Sudan has recended its declaration of war and has thus declared the mobilization of troops on Chad as nothing else but a permitted and justified military intervention in Chad for the purpose of eliminating and combating terrorist threats to both the people of Sudan and the people of Chad. It is obvious that neither Paris nor Moscow truely has any regards for civilian lives in Chad and once again Sudan shall mobilize to protect those people. If they do show hostilities towrads our troops for protecting our country from terrorists then it does truly make you think who's side are they on. They want to keep the war going while sudan wants to put an end to it."[/b]

Following the statement Sudan had officially called the troops presence in Chad as an intervention and not an invasion meaning that the Sudanese Parliament had implied that Sudan has absolutely 0 reasons or initiative to occupy and take over parts of Chad in the name of expansion and imperialism with one Memember of Parliment calling it the "sin of government"

The Sudanese Land Armed Forces have also made it clear that this is an intervention and has vowed to pull troops out of Chad once either Parliment or the Prime Minister orders them to do so once the war is over. Speaking of which Prime Minister Hatim Al-Sir had also ordered that SLAF to scale down military presence in Chad by having almost all military vehicles including IFVs, tanks, and Armoured transport vehicles to be returned to Sudan out of security reasons effectively giving them military trucks and jeeps instead some fitted with machine guns or Anti Air. However the 1,000 fighting force in Adre would stay, but the Prime Minister had put a hold on any additional reinforcements to Chad from Sudan. In other news the Prime Minister had also made statements on thread facing his country's soldiers as he is firm that Sudan will not let go of the Oustani Region. The Sudanese Military has already made it a priority to secure the Ouadi Kadja river from militant threats and will not allow such vulnerable position in the Sudanese border to be in the hands of a failing state. Sudan will not be giving up the oustani region and in a show of force has transported and activated one Persian Angel Air Defence System encompassing Persian Angel Missiles, Raad Missiles and Sharp Star Missiles positioned at the nearby village of Habilah situated well within Sudanese territory. The anti-air defense systems have been put in Sudan knowing any attack on its position would bd an attack on sudanese soil and would effectively become a provoked attack on Sudan.

Meanwhile the Sudanese Air Force has also declared taht it is at all times ready and prepared to defend SLAF positions on the ground as they mobolize 6x of their Eurofighter Typhoon Multirole Fighters fron Wad Sedina to Nayala International Airport to be prepared at a moment notice to intercept any hostile air crafts headed towards military positions.

For now Sudan has also halted any further military mobilization but would not retreat yet nor push any further into Chad until some deal has been resulted from the Bagdad Conference later this month. The Sudanese Air Force is prepared for retaliation against any hostile action without hesitation and the Sudanese Land Armed Forces are also prepared to either withdraw or continue with Operation Dawn at a moments notice from Khartoum. Both the Sudanese Navy and Sudanese National Coast Guard had also been ordered to be on high alert as Parliament considers repealing the Good Faith Act that was aimed at fixing relations between Khartoum and Moscow all while insuring naval co-operation in the Red Sea. Sudan will protect itself. And has a right to do so.

Iraqi republicc wrote:President al-Shaer calls Conference on Chad in Baghdad
Green Zone, Karkh District, Baghdad, Republic of Iraq

November 5, 2022
In the Presidential Palace of Baghdad, the President and several of the Council of Ministers were meeting. President al-Shaer had invited Prime Minister Khalil, Foreign Minister Moradi, and Defence Minister Hamid to meet him regarding the Second Chadian Civil War. They sat in one of the many lavish conference rooms of Saddam’s former palace, now repurposed as both the Presidential Office, residence, and a slew of administrative duties.

They discussed the rapidly unfolding war, European and Eurasian intervention, Chadian internal politics, and the recent development of the Sudanese invasion of the ISFC. They all worried for the effects the war could have on international tensions. While Iraq was not involved in the war, besides unsanctioned volunteers running off the join the AAFC, they feared Iraq could be forced to choose sides as Arab-Euro-Eurasian tensions escalated. Identifying Iraq as a neutral party, Prime Minister Khalil suggested a multilateral conference. Delineating the relationships between foreign intervention, domestic factions, and alliances could go far to prevent unnecessary violence on all sides and better communication on the matter. Minister Moradi agreed, and began preparations.

In a press conference, President al-Shaer confirmed the conference and publicly invited many nations, though formal invitations were given through proper diplomatic channels as well:

“The situation in Chad is incredibly precarious. So long as nations continue to act rashly and use explosives as diplomacy, this situation will only deteriorate. As an international community we have forgotten why any or use should actually be in Chad: the people of Chad. The only outcome of such international maneuvering is the further suffering of Chadians.

The conflict in Chad is inevitable. The collapse of the Deby Regime gives Chad an opportunity to better itself, but compounding international involvement only drives Chad further from peace. The relevant parties must meet, negotiate interests, and reach a more tenable solution for the timely conduct of this war, or risk spiraling into global chaos. I implore representatives to meet in Baghdad for this purpose. I ask the leaders of France, Spain, Russia, Germany, Egypt, Sudan, and *squints at teleprompter*Bangladesh(?) to heed my warnings and let cooler heads prevail.”

The Conference was scheduled for November 19th, giving all parties two weeks to respond and send representatives. Invited parties include:

November 19th

With the invitation to Baghdad for a conference concerning the various foreign fighters in the war torn nation of Chad, the Bangladeshi government decided to send Masud Bin Moment, the foreign secretary of Bangladesh and Brigadier general Md Muhsin Alam, the commander of the Bangladeshi Para-Commando brigade of which the 1st Battalion is in Chad helping the AAFC who many believe that they are supposedly fighting for a just cause, while the two representatives left for Baghdad the government had the merchant vessel Banglar Joyjatra transport 12 Bayraktar Akinci UCAV drones to Sudan along with Cirit and MAM-L as armament for the combat drones as a way of Bangladesh helping Sudan fight back against the ISFC.

                Manar District, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

                  | The Police got it under control...I think |

[Mubarak Al Hosseini]: It was 6 in the evening we were going to fight tonight, I guessed the national guard will be coming over
in a few hours until then we had to fight them our selves, almost every unit has been deployed to the area with code
3 protocol I should go back...but I will not, its my duty to protect, serve, and secure peace for the Saudi people. Next to
me, Majid Bin Hosseini was the driver of our cruiser thank god we were driving in an aurmored convoy.

[ Majid ]: So, ready for some real war?

[ Mubarak ]: No...its not a war anyway, both of our sides are not armies.

[ Majid ]: But i just dont get it, where is the National Gaurd?!

[ Mubarak ]: Well they could just be overwhelmed like the king is sick or like how there were massive
protests at riyadh, we just have to wait. We cannot let them get seize of the 4050 Jeddah highway,
that will just make fighting worse, so we must blockade the area and close the roads, that is the primary
plan. Also at the same time we must evacuate people from the conflict zone.

[ Majid ]: Yea, yea, chief told us you don't have to say it again.

The 4050 Jeddah highway and roads leading in and out of Al-Manar were closed immediately, with the police blockading,
we started building forts on some of the main roads. We stoped at Al-Manar road and the men that were in our convoy
flooded out of the van. We were all on the defensive escorting people that were evacuating from the district, sadly
we could not go in and save the trapped we had to wait for the SWAT teams and security forces if we wanted to
storm in. Soon our plan we complete, now we had to do is wait, for the extremeists to attack us or for backup to
              come for an assault.

United States To Join Baghdad Conference As Co-Chair
Presidential Palace, Green Zone, Karkh District, Baghdad, Republic of Iraq

      November 9, 2022

Following the announcement of the Baghdad Conference by Iraqi Foreign Minister Moradi, Paramountica's Diplomats reached out. At their request, a US diplomatic team will be admitted to the Conference. Furthermore, the US' selected member will be allowed to join Foreign Minister Moradi as Co-Chair of the conference, helping to manage the likely fiery negotiations. It is expected that the US Co-Chair will be Anthony Blinken, USP Secretary of State. Considering the status of the US as the dominant global power, and leading member of NATO, their presence lends much higher significance and legitimacy to the proceedings. It's not, however, expected to seriously impact the conduct of the Conference. The move effectively makes the Baghdad Conference an Iraqi-USP shared effort, though Moradi will still lead the proceedings, and represents the first major diplomatic action between the two since the 2003 Invasion and establishment of the previous regime.
