The Conclave of the Tribes in the first year of the Holy Empire of Raunjar

Land Claim: https://imgur.com/mofajdd

The Holy Empire of Raunjar met with the local tribes surrounding them, including the Kainjaua and Vart'kai tribes to the north, the Ki'mauvai to the far west, the Ki'mautoonj to the north - east, and the Maumair to the east. The Kainjaua, meaning 'the men of stone', live in stone huts up to the north. They are master stonemen and build very intricate buildings of fine stones, jems, and rocks. They are known for their hall of Emerald, which is a small hall with walls covered with emerald. The Vart'kai tribe, meaning 'the hunters' or 'warriors', are a fierce people who often attack and raid the surrounding tribes and villages. They are known for their unique fighting tactics, involving contraptions that release mist upon the battlefield. They clad themselves in the spoils and bounties of war and often use bones and skulls as decorations upon their bodies. They are feared by all of the known tribes and peoples. The Ki'mauvai, or 'foreigners', are people who had only been encountered in recent years, but have grown powerful in that time through trade and commerce among the tribes. They are very wealthy and enjoy the luxuries of riches in their economy. The Ki'mautoonj, meaning the 'false ones' or 'hypocrites', are a tribe that mostly believe in the religion of Kimate. Kimate is a religion of many gods, one for each element; Earth, Stone, Plants, Sky, Water, and Stars. They are rivals of the Raunjar in both religion and in cultures as the Kimate gods demand sacrifice and raiding of other tribes to appease the gods. Given the rival status of the two tribes, the Ki'mautoonj often raid the tribes of those believing in Mavapa and the Holy Empire of Raunjar. There have been two major recent wars between Ki'mautoonj and the Auma'vai. These wars have lead to destruction and desecration with both tribes. And the last tribe, the Maumair, meaning 'the people like us', are a people who mainly believe in Mavapa, and work with wood like the tribes with Raunjar, but not to the same extent. They are known for their textiles and cloths. They have immense alpaca herds and are a big exporter in cloth. The people of Maumair measure wealth by the amount of expensive carpets, wall draperies, and fine clothes that you have.
The Holy Empire of Raunjar called this meeting to negotiate the new terms and agreements between the tribes and the Empire as the formation of this Empire complicates some of the deals and treaties they had previously. At the end of this tense meeting, mainly because of the tension between the Raunjar and the Ki'mautoonj, trade has resumed with the Kainjaua, Vart'kai, and the Ki'mauvai. The Ki'mautoonj declared that they would have no trade with the Raunjar Empire and that any 'invaders' of the Raunjar Empire would be imprisoned, and later sacrificed for intrusion upon the land of the Ki'mautoonj and falsely proclaiming the religion of Mavapa to the people of Ki'mautoonj. The Raunjar declared that if any such thing happened, then it would be war between the two seperate governments. After this heated arrangement, the Maumair declared that they wished to join the Holy Empire of Raunjar. The Holy Empire of Raunjar agreed to this upon removal of people from their society who do not believe in Mavapa. Agreeing to this, the Maumair split their population, banishing those not believing in Mavapa to another place. Though they banished them, they were not ruthless and provided the people with sufficient supplies and money to safely start a new life somewhere else.

This would be later called the Conclave of the Tribes in the first year of the Holy Empire.

United we stand
founding post

Yuannon and Gorrin. Gorrin and Yuannon. Apart from the horns, two very distinct people. Different culture, different gods, different beliefs. A completely different way of life. Yet here they live together, without fighting. In peace. In harmony. Before they lived together in harmony two separate kingdoms ruled this small amount of land, always fighting. They were the Yuannon tribe of Camo, and the Gorrin tribe of Ral. However, after decades and decades of fighting, the leaders of each kingdom did not even know why they were fighting anymore. Kings were crowned every other week, as they fell by both the sword and the poison of the other King's men. Now, a queen held the throne of the Camo, while a boy no older than 17 held the throne of the Ral. Both had enough of the fighting, the violence, the death. The Queen of the Camo, Sha’ri, had invited the boy king of the Ral, Lar the Fourth, to meet on a neutral ground, a field, laying on what, at this point in time, is considered the border between the two kingdoms. A border which changed every month or so. Against all advice given to him by his advisors, Lar agreed.

“Thank you for coming, King Lar,” Sha’ri said. She arrived first and had set up two chairs. One perfect for a Yuannon, one perfect for a Gorrin. “Please take a seat.”
“Thank you, Queen Sha’ri. However I do have to say I was surprised by your request to talk.” King Lar replied, with the boyish curiousity you expect from such a young king.
Instead of explaining why she invited the King, she asked a question.
“King Lar, do you remember when our nations started fighting?”
Lar thought about, but only for a quick second. “The fighting started 3 years before my birth, so I not.”
Sha’ri smiled. “Indeed, I was only 3 years old myself, so my question to you is, why are we fighting?”
Lar looked confused. “I guess to protect our kingdoms.”
“Indeed.” Sha’ri said. “But why not protect both our kingdoms. Together. We can form one nation. United Kingdoms. We can both rule, together, and make this nation better than our could ever be separately.
Lar looked interested, and to confirm this he said “You have my interest.”

Over the next days they discussed the plans for unity, and born was the Yuannon-Gorrin kingdom of Camoral.

At their meeting, Sha’ri and Lar agreed upon many things that had to be done to make sure that their kingdoms both live up to the potential that they believe it has, as well as protecting its citizens. Two plans were formed, with both being executed simultaneously. One was infrastructure, which Sha’ri would take care off. She would handle both figuring out which city would become the capital of Camoral, as well as opening up the ancient Yuannon city of Kraz’rim, their source of Antirium, and laying down roads between the two former kingdoms, to unite them as one. To Lar, this all seemed like an impossible task. It’s why he graciously let Sha’ri handle that aspect, while he would handle something which him and his brethren are a little better at. Fight. More specifically, expand the kingdom. They knew of the other nations on the continent, and knew that if they remained small they would not last long. He had taken 750 of his best men, to claim three designated territories. Each ripe for the taking. Lar and his commanders had created a special order in which to take them. The first two territories should be relatively easy, there might not even be any fighting, and if there would be he knew that his forces would crush any resistance. The third one would most likely involve some fighting. It is inhabited by a ferocious Lopexi tribe, who might not be willing to join the kingdom without a fight. But that is something to worry about later.
First things first, he would have to convince the locals of this area to join him, one way or another. He did not have to go far to find out how he would take it. Only an hour after he had left his border behind, he came up to an old Gorrin standing on a hill. By the clothing he was wearing, and the staff he was holding, he was a Shaman of Kap, one of the many Gorrin gods that called this region his home.

“Halt! By the name of Kap, I demand to know why you are here, on land that does not belong to you!”

Lar walked up to him and took a knee, he had much respect for Kap.

“Shaman! I am Lar, son of Lar, who was also a son of Lar. I am King Lar the Fourth, of Camoral, one of two rulers of Camoral. We united with the Yuannon to form one great nation, and are looking to expand eastwards into these lands. Please, join us, and let Kap join our side.”

The Shaman looked Lar up and down. “Lar, a true king, with the name of a god. This land only houses a few villages, all who follow the way of Kap, I will make sure that they join your side. A great kingdom shall rise from these grounds, and we shall not resist is.”

Lar stood up. “Thank you, Shaman. Then we shall head on, towards the next land that shall join my kingdom.”

The gods were with him. He knew they were. Or at least, he knew that some of them were. Almost every region in this area had their own god or goddess, or even a multitude of gods or goddesses they worshipped. The only ones that believed in a ‘one true God’ were the Yuannon of the area, with their Ka’bari. Lar smiled at the idea. How could one god have been able to create all their is, and control it.

Him and his men had set up camp on top of a hill, allowing them to survey all the land around them. Not a single sign of life was anywhere to be seen. No cities, no towns, not even a single hut. Lar knew it would be easy to take control of most lands around here, but this was almost too easy to be true. And, of course, just as he said it, something exploded up from the snow. Lar grunted, nothing could ever just come easy to him.

Lar’s men quickly surrounded the being that came up from the snow, which had not moved since it appeared. It was a Gorrin, large even compared to other Gorrin, standing at approximately 2.7m covered in a thick white fur, very different than the brown or black fur that most Gorrin had.

An albino, Lar thought to himself.

Albino Gorrin were extremely rare in this corner of the world. Mainly because it was believed they were cursed by the goddess Gret and it was believed that it would be better to kill them young, before they could become a threat to society. That this one was able to survive for so long, out here in what seemed to be the middle of nowhere, with nothing around, was almost unbelievable. Almost. Clearly the gods favoured this one.

“I am King Lar the Fourth of Camoral, one of two monarchs ruling the nation. You are trespassing upon newly seized lands of the nation. You may live here in peace, if you were your loyalty to the Kingdom, and retreat now without violence.” Lar commanded.

One of his advisors looked shocked. “My king, with all due respect, he has been cursed by Gret. He should be killed before he can harm us.”

The albino Gorrin grinned, and so did the King. “The gods have led him live for this long. If you truly believe that he should die, challenge him to an Enpaen, and see who the gods back.”

The advisor did not say anything.

“Good, now that that is settled. Who are you, and why do you just appear from the snow, frightening my men?”

The albino shrugged. “I was asleep. I heard voices. Normally it is hunters trying to kill the ‘great Albino’, so I scare them away. My name is Hak.”

“Hak, you have survived for this long, the gods must have a purpose for you. I need an enforcer, and who would be better than one cursed by Gret. How would you feel about entering my service?”

Hak looked confused. “Why would a King trust a cursed man he just met?”

“Because this King believes the gods favour him. Now do you accept or not?” Lar said while laughing.

Hak shrugged once again. “I am not going to say no to being able to join society. I will be your enforcer.”

“Good good.” Lar said. “Now let's head on to whatever other mysteries are hidden within these lands.”

Lar’s men quickly settled back into the campsite. It was almost time to sleep, and they would have a long day ahead of them if the rumours were true regarding the people that inhabited the next location that has been destined to join the kingdom.

The Marching Herds
Expansion post 1/3

Zagor readied for the long raid north,he planned to take any and all he could even if that meant subjugation of any weaker herds into the Khazor. He adorned himself with a symbol of Burkhan, the Sün of War who was favored by the warlike Sinkur and its shamans.
Molgrac entered the tent adorned in his robes made of fine leather and bits of what looked like moss. He leaned on his staff which filled the tent with an almost unnatural yellow light due to the fireflies that stayed within a jar on the end of it.
He took a moment to observe the Zor before speaking.
“What do you plan to do with the lands that we conquer?”

“Those who do not bow shall be made to,if the land they walk upon is in my way I shall make it bow as well.” Zagor responded with a huff

The Pale Druid slammer his staff to the ground “That is not our way Jijigkhen the land provides what we need to survive and in return we protect it a nourish it,the cities of the Tsenkher khulchgaruud are what began to Sün Giorn’s Ark and for that he sent the hunger!”

The Zor stood to face the Grand Druid “Then I shall burn every inch of civilization down as an offering to the Süns and restore Giorn’s ark to balance.”

“Be careful Jijigkhen, pride can lead to a fall that one never gets up from, and not all Süns want the same for the Ark but we must always keep her safe and reclaim her riches from those who would over use and plunder that which they know not of.” The Pale Druid sat down and drank some of the warmed milk that had been prepared

“I did not summon you here to give me a lesson on the Süns or the creation of the world, you were summoned here to determine whether your herd will join us in this raid or not.”

The Old Druid shook his head “The Khorijin shall be heading south along the Ikhan Golan,to find more grazing land for the cattle, perhaps in the process we shall find some herds to add to the Warherd.”

The Zor smiled “Then the riches and glory of the north shall be all for the Sinkur herd!”

He looked to his axe “we shall rise, far above where we stand.”

Sha’ri was sitting on her throne, taking a break from all the work that had to be done just to be alone with her thoughts, if only just for a second. She smiled to herself. She knew that the boy king of the Ral was not smart, but she did not realize that she could just turn him into a glorified general for the armies. Instead of sending a commander with the forces, the foolish boy thought he had to lead it himself when he was put in charge of expanding the kingdom. Either way, she had done something that her brother, father, uncle and grandfather could not. Stop the war with the Gorrin people. And she did it without bloodshed, while bringing the Gorrin people under her influence. She knew that even though Lar was still a child, he was already a great commander, and will continue to grow in that field. And that is the field that she was planning to keep him in. She would take charge of all other matters related to the state, while he can run around and play soldier. She knew that he would still play an important role in the running of this nation. There are many powerful nations out there, both on this continent as those far across the sea. Allies would eventually have to be made, but first the infrastructure of the nation itself would have to be set up.
Sha’ri had been working hard in bringing in all those that held influence in the country to her palace, so that they could swear their loyalty to her. Now all she had to do was wait for Lar to finish his expedition, so that the final steps of the nation could be completed.

Many miles away

Lar pulled his sword free from the chest of a Lopexian warrior, blood gushed out and created a puddle around the dead warrior.
“May the gods accept you with open arms.” Lar whispered.
His men cheered, led by Lar’s new enforcer Hak.
An older Lopexian stepped forward, the head advisor of the chieftain of this tribe. The chieftain that now lay dead on the floor. “You have defeated our chieftain in single combat, something that we always thought to be impossible. For generations, his bloodline had not lost in single combat. Our council had agreed that if your champion defeated our chieftain, we would swear our loyalty to you. And as a true leader, you were your own champion.”
The council of the Lopexian tribe all took a knee.
“We swear our loyalty to you, King Lar the Fourth, of Camoral. We are your servants.”
At that point Hak stepped forward. “Enough with that ‘the Fourth’ nonsense, he is the first Lar to be king of Camoral, his ancestors were only kings of Ral. He is a conqueror, and that is how he shall be known. I hereby represent you with our King, King Lar the Conqueror, the First of his Name, Protector of Camoral.”
Lar’s men, both his old ones as well as his new Lopexian subjects, cheered loudly.

Within the next few days, Lar would leave his forces to secure the border, a border that would not remain for long, as Camoral will continue to expand. Together with Hak, he would head to Sha’ri’s palace, to let her know that all has gone as planned, and the first phase of Camoral’s expansion is complete. When they reached Sha’ri’s palace they found her in her throne room with her guards, waiting.

“Ah Lar, you have returned. And I see you made a friend along the way. Tell me, how did it go?” she asked.
“Easier than expected Sha’ri. This here is Hak, my new enforcer, the gods have shown him to me.” Lar answered.
“Ah, your ‘gods’, of course they have. Are you planning to continue to lead the expansion expedition?” Sha’ri asked.
“Yes,yes I will. As long as you take care of our other duties.” he stated.
Sha’ri smiled, just as she thought, he wants to be a soldier. “Good, good. But before you head back to the border, we shall feast, to celebrate the creation of our nation. I have heard that you have already chosen a title, good good. We shall also be crowned tonight, as the first monarchs of Camoral.”
Lar frowned. “How did you hear that?”
Sha’ri returned the frown with a smile. “Oh Lar, we are a King and a Queen, we have spies everywhere within our kingdom.”

That night they were both crowned as the King and Queen they were. King Lar the Conqueror, the First of his Name, Protector of Camoral, and Queen Sha’ri, the First of her Name, ruler of Camoral. Behind her back, Sha’ri gained the name of whisperer, Sha’ri the Whisperer, or in the shadows, Sha’ri the Witch.

Saanselia

The Establishment of the Crown

For the past 100 years, the Saanselic people have been in a series of petty wars as just as many petty fiefdoms and now have been united as a single kingdom with one unified identity. The kingdoms now follow the good king Petr Wjokav I, who has established the monarchy as a singular, centralized entity with an elective House of Lords, which collectively have the people able to be levied into the Grand Wjokavic Army. The lords of a fief will choose one amongst themselves to represent the fief in the House of Lords, which is a sort of extension of the royal court. They may make decisions independently and then present the decision to the royal court, who is to vote on it, and then if passed sent to the king, who makes the final say.

The land established henceforth as the spawn of Saanselia is a small, two county swath with shores upon the Crimson Ocean in the continent of Tylos in the wet Meditteranean region, north of Baccar, far south of Nevgarn, and west of Canh at 85w and 23n (If I got that right). The capital city is to be known as Wjokaviis and shall be between the two counties. The nation for now is small, yet has large ambitions to become a substantial power in the world, yet mainly focusing on internal affairs. The nation is consistent entirely of Avernians as native Saanselians.

This land is to be considered the base and home of the Saanselic people and their descendants for the rest of time, under the good rule of our king and his descendants.

May this land provide now and eternally for our people, our culture, our society, and our kingdom. This land is ours and ours alone, and we will defend it in a sound manner and action to that. The homeland is founded.

Royal Charter by Order of Petr Wjokav I for the Kingdom of Saanselia

Hereby and henceforth decreed, as per order and will of the good king Petr Wjokav I of the Kingdom of Saanselia, the kingdom shall be undergoing growth and expansion to new lands to allow for a higher prestige, more land more farming, and an increase to ports. The land in question is directly north of the kingdom and shall be annexed and settled with all due haste, which shall increase the lands of the empire by a single county. The county in question shall require new lords, which shall be the first 20 heads of families to arrive. The new lords shall be considered nobility and shall be able to claim an appropriate area of land. The land itself is, so far as the kingdom is concerned, uninhabited to any sort of reasonable degree, which does allow for true inhabitation by the growing kingdom and population of the Kingdom of Saanselia.

The land detailed herein is what is being claimed as henceforth part of the Kingdom of Saanselia under the rule of the good king Petr Wjokav I of Saanselia, and as full-fledged additions to the nation, and are not to be referred to informally or formally as a colony or puppet. The land is to stretch north towards the Petravon, the river to the north. As well, the land is considered suitable for stable farming, residing firmly within the wet Mediterranean climate zone. This addition does increase the land by a half of the current size, stretching up the coast to the northward direction.

Within the new lands, it is expected to grant access to ample supply and access to the fish and other aquatic resources, as well as crops, growing in plenty aside the river.

Within the land already, there are some illegitimate lords who do claim to be rightful rulers of those lands. An ultimatum shall be offered, stating that said lords may join and bend the knee to the Kingdom of Saanselia under the rule of the good king Petr Wjokav I of Saanselia, or they may perish. Our steel is sharp and our wit sharper. We are a force small in size, yes, but we do not falter, and we may conquer swift for the good king. As we deliver, it may be assumed some lords may agree to the terms, at which point they shall be married in so as to fully annex the lands as well as the peoples. This is to go for the peasants and workers as well, as they are to be considered full citizens of the nation upon either the event of defection from a rebellious traitor lord, following a secure screening of the individual, so as to ensure they are not dubious and spy worthy. Should a lord announce his fealty to the crown of Saanselia, he and his subjects shall all be considered Saanselian. This will allow Saanselian officials, taxes, schooling, and manufacturing to take place, strengthening our nation as a whole, and furthering our prosperity abound.

This is considered just the beginning by most, as the kingdom has a great desire to expand to the large river that lies even past Petravon. This future expansion is to allow broad sea access, as well as allow a good size for growth. Going past that, the expansion will go westward and inland to gain access to the fruits of the more centermost resources. The good king has allowed prosperity and we shall expect much more to come. Expansion is the primary focus right now, but as well, there is a focus on creating a refined, efficient, loyal fighting force of infantry, archers, crossbowman, cavalry, artillery, and even some gunmen.

Basileus elysium

Total War: The Council Part 1
The grand council room is packed with all the council members of Basileus Elysium, the lanterns hung around the room are lit. The tense atmosphere of the room was high due to the over bearing knowledge of imminent war coming to Basileus Elysium. The smoke of incense drifting along the southern most arch leading to the atrium combined with the shadow given off by the dragon skeleton projected along the dome and the dimly lit room gave off an ominous vibe around the room. The drums of war rhythmically beat as Azzem slowly rose from his seat as Imineif looked on solemnly.

“In the short history of Basileus Elysium, we have never experience war. Our aim was to not get involved in such a full-scale conflict. That was our dream, how childish we were, hoping for peace. We have disposed of the tyrants and dragons alike, built communities for the worst effected and have a prosperous trading community. Looks at this room. Each and everyone one of us helped build this kingdom and around us are the stories of its founding and reminders of how we came to this present day. This is why we cannot accept the actions Mizan have taken on our oldest family allies. The Khallirs and the Xhaizie’s date back countless generations, they are kin to us and we do not take kindly to the needless slaughter of our own. Like the tyrants before them, Mizan will fall to us. Their people will great us with cheers through the streets. Their economy and agriculture will boom. We will proudly call the Mizanese citizens Elysians. The fight will be long, and many of life will be lost, however we cannot stand idle whilst the oligarchs and aristocrats of Mizan kill the innocent and down trodden. We will not faulter! We will prevail! Under the grace of the Gods we will be victorious!”

Basileus elysium

Total War: The Council Part 2
The council room erupted into applause over Azzem’s speech the tense atmosphere almost completely wiped away by the wave of jingoism that swept the council as Azzem returned to his seat Imineif stood.

“My fellow countrymen the plans of our campaign are set and are split into three phases. The first phase, the armies of each cities are to line at the southern border and advance to the Vassay river. The peninsula north of said river will be used as the main supply port for the campaign. A small garrison will be established, docks will be built and trade will come through this hub. Once a sufficient supply chain is established the armies will continue. Phase two, advancing down from the Vassey river the next objective is sieging the Mizanese fort south of the Malez river. The forces of Al’Antum and Basilea will conduct a flanking maneuverer around the east of the river ultimately surrounding the fort and cutting off its supply. Drakkulesti and Qaffar forces will push for a direct attack on the city crossing the river and forcing through the defences. If time correctly with the Al’antum and Basilea attack, as well as under the cover of night fall it will throw the enemy forces into disarray. From what we know the garrison is small but heavily fortified so an overwhelming push from all sides will without doubt allow us to seize it. Phase three. All armies are to be lined into formation and once supplies are linked to the fort the march south continues, The Mizanese armies will most likely be on their way to meet us head on, If they do the Drakkulesti and Al’ Antum forces will attack head on whilst the Qaffar and Basilea troops pincer attack from either side to rout the enemy. If they do not meet us in battle, they will attempt to fortify Mizan itself. If so Drakkulesti troops will attack the western wall, Qaffarian the north western wall. Basilian the northern wall and Al’Antum the eastern wall. From our intelligence gathered we know the cities defences are old and in ruins from their leaders close-fisted spending habits. A siege on the city will be over within a day by our estimates. After we take the city, the oligarchs will be put on trial here, In Drakkulesti, for their crimes towards the Xhaizie tribe and a full force relief effort will go to the city of Mizan along with an appointed Vali for the administration of the city itself. Now, do we have any objections?”
The room remained silent and the council men nodded in approval of the plans.

Total War: Forward Operations
Phase one was set into full motion merely days after Imineif and Azzem’s speech however the original plans were altered slightly. One quarter of the army was mobilized to the southern border, After the speech was mass printed by the national newspaper moral in the army was at an all-time high. Troop held their heads high as they were tasked with their first mission: March onward to the Vassay river, a small detachment is to split off and make their way west to the tip of the peninsula. Once both groups reach their destination, they were to make camp, the second group were to set up a small encampment and docks with the aid of labourers brought along.

A long and gruelling march took its toll on the soldiers, exhausted after the six days travel to the Vassay river they finally made it, after a short break all were put to work, immediate priorities became water, shelter and an envoy back to Drakkulesti once fortified in their position. The majority of the soldiers began unloading the wagons brought along, in groups of eight, tents were assembled in orderly fashioned rows dedicated to each Khartis (500 men). While taking around three hours to fully assemble the living tents, arrange a storage depot, medical tent, and command tent; patrols of the area continued. One small force of 15 men along with three carts were tasked with collecting a sufficient supply of water via the upstream of the Vassay river once collected the water was stored in barrels in the storage depot and handed out in animal skin pouches to each soldier. Once all was fully operational the commanding Musir finally send out an envoy first to meet the smaller detachment sent to the peninsula north of the river, then after resting report back to Drakkulesti to prepare for a forward offensive on Mizan.

Arriving at the new encampment on the peninsula work had already begun on the dock’s construction, labourers, woodworkers and carpenters alike all move as one working towards the goal of a dock capable of transporting the four armies of Basileus Elysium through one small encampment. It wouldn’t be easy but with the newly laid plan of the armies being staggered in their arrival meant the weight load of the infrastructure could be significantly reduced however this would cause a four day delay to the initial estimated date of attack as each army would require an entire day to fully unload into the encampment, rest and then proceed to continue their march south. Despite this work on the infrastructure and docks had progressed rapidly and bested expectations due to the high moral of the nation’s workforce. Once rested the envoy collected the encampments Ferik’s report and continued their journey.
Another four more days horse back to the capital city but followed by a long-needed rest in a warm bed with good food, the reports of both locations reached Azzem and Imineif and the next phase of the war effort began to unfold.

Total War- Siege
Each day the docks of the new encampment flood with soldiers of Basileus Elysium, singing songs, drill exercises, for four days like clockwork ships arrived, troops lined up in the courtyard and once all were boots on the ground they marched south. Arriving at the Vassay river the full force of the army waited for their order from Azzem.

“Men, it has taken a few long weeks to prepare this expedition. However, the day is finally here, as you know our next aim is to take the fort located on the Malez river. Your commanding Musir will relay your locations for this assault to you. We strike at night fall when the enemy is heavy-eyed and unsuspecting, we will cut them off from their supplies and besiege the fort with our overwhelming numerical superiority. Once we take the take the fort, the Mizanese will know we are invading. We estimate it will take a minimum of five days for them to receive word of our presence, two days for them to assemble their forces, and six days march from Mizan to the fort’s location. It will take six day for us to advance on Mizan after the siege if we strike swiftly, we will catch them off guard and unprepared. Do no faulter brother!”

The night fell. The sight of the Malez river caused a deep feeling of uncertainty among the troop, their first real battle as Elysian’s. A strange mix of pride and dread congealed into the bottom of their stomachs yet every man held firm and followed their Musir. Each of the four armies of one hundred thousand each positioned themselves around the fort. Al’Antum forces from the south along the road connecting to Mizan, Basilese forces south east just across the river, Qaffarian forces in the north east and finally the Drakkulesti Imperial army taking on the frontal assault. The horns of war sounded starting towards the south of the fort in an anti-clockwise fashion, the Mizanese forces began to panic. Shouting and a running around the fort to identify the location of the attacker, finally they spot the Drakkulesti imperial army lighting torches and charging the main gate. Dismay flooded the garrisoned division, clearly outnumbered five to one the majority of the forces rush to the northern gate and open fire at the oncoming behemoth of an army which walked as one, fired as one and shielded as one unlike the bandits and raiders they normally faced.

With consternation of the fort in full swing the southern Al’Antum forces make their move also revealing their selves from the darkness and charging the southern gate. The Basilese and Qaffarian forces mimic the charge on the eastern gate. Before the Mizanese forces knew it, they were completely surrounded and over run. Resistance was strong however when they realized the true extent of the attack many laid down their arms and surrendered willingly to the attackers.

As day broke the four armies continued to march south as if nothing happened, A force of fifty thousand was left at the fort to maintain order and adequately handle the estimated twenty thousand garrison which ultimately surrendered. The captain of the fort being one of said prisoners of the war offered valuable information on the location of the Mizanese iron mines and main food supplies outside of the city walls in hoped of him and his men’s lives being spared. Azzem himself knelt beside the bound captain.

“My friend, after this war you and your men will be Elysian, kin. We’re going to need every soldier we can get.” He turns to on of the Imperial guards accompanying him, “Now send word and inform the Musir’s of what he has told us here. We’ll secure their resources before they even know we’re invading.”

The Rise of the Kharzor
Founding post

The fires of Belcheer Khun shines bright through the dark night, but through the searing silence of the sleeping world the chanting of the herd could be heard getting louder and louder.

Zagor the Warchief of the Sinkur herd and the Zor of the Khazors, walked out of the Zorrny Gar onto a balcony overlooking the massive crowd of the herds behind him stood Molgrac “The Pale Druid '' Warchief of the Khorijin herd.

The massive Gorrin rose his axe in the air and the crowd silenced.

“For too long have we the Gorrin wallowed in the shadow of those weaker than us,choosing to abandon that which made us stronger! Now we shall go back to the ways of where the strong prosper and the weak burn! We shall unite the herds into one great people and scourge the remains of the Tsenkher khulchgaruud’s empire and atop its ashes we shall feast and build a new empire based on strength!.”

He pumped his axe into the air
“Bid dain khiine!”

His people cheered and repeated his battle cry and chanted the Zor’s name into the night.

Molgrac leaned against his staff “Not bad Jijigkhen, you have settled well in your role as Zor of our herds.”

Zagor huffed “Not all of us are Grand Druids,khögshin.”

The Pale Druid smirked “Now we must unite the nearby herds and prepare to march north for our first skərj of the people’s of Tylos.”

The Warchiefs hut of the Khorijin herd’s rallying camp outside Belcheer Khun

Khaokzar entered the Pale Druids hut, interrupting his meditation and supposed communion with the Sün of nature.

“Khögshin! The scouts have spotted a small settlement along the shores of the Ikhan Golan. We should take this chance to give the herd a warm up!” Khaokzar said planting his axe in the ground in front of him

“Are they Tsenkher khulchgaruud?” The Druid said opening one eye to look a the young warrior

“No they are others of our kind,it seems they have seen fit to settle in these lands.”

Molgrac stood up and grabbed his staff. “Then it is our duty to bring them into the herd, forcibly or not.” He tapped his staff on the ground signaling for the young warrior to gather the herd.

Khaokzar ran out of the tent and summoned the horn blowers “The Warchief wants to address the boys blow the horns and gather’em!”

The two rather small Gorrin blew their war horns which created a deep tone which resonated for miles drawing every Khorijin raider within the war camp to their warchief’s tent.

Molgrac exited his tent with Khaokzar standing behind him. The Pale Druid Raised his staff for silence

“I have been told of the ones of our blood who drink from the river’s nectar. We shall show them what a true herd is and bring them into the Kharzor!” He slammed his staff on the ground causing it to shift and turn showing images

“The Süns have spoken. And one from
The North will be the bringer of Iru’s flame and will spark the Age of Fire and Blood, where the roots of the Ark shall be uplifted and it’s guardians will rise once more!!”

For the Süns
Expansion post 2/4

The Khorijin war camp was in an uproar after the Warchief Molgrac the Pale Druid declared that a Chosen of Iru was soon to be amongst the Warherd, with the touch of his staff to the ground in front of the boys showing a powerful warrior leading the great herds of the Kharzor to glory against the sons of a lost empire.

“To prepare for this great new age for our people we must gather every herd of the old Kharzor! We must reclaim the grazing lands of our ancestors! We must bring ruin to those who think that they can take advantage of Giorn’s ark! We must rise!!!”

Molgrac the slammer his staff to the ground once more causing the ever shifting images to stop and erupt into flames, showing a massive flaming visage of the Symbol of the Kharzor

Khaokzar held his axe to the sky “Bid dain khiine!”

With this the camp began to scream and chant the war cries of not only the Khorijin but of the Kharzor Warherd

The Pale Druid looked to his second in “We move at Dawn,we shall continue to claim grazing lands until the Süns tell us that this Chosen has begun his journey to us.”

Khaokzar nodded and looked to the herd “I want every warrior ready to march and burn! We shall rise above our station and each become chosen,Let us bring these misguided herds into the Kharzor!”

The herd prepared for the next few hours to raid the small gorrin settlement inching ever closer to the farming community. The excitement that filled every warrior could be felt in the air. The Pale Druid and his Guardian stood at the front of the marching horde prepared to end the raid as quickly as it begins

Meanwhile at the settlement two farmers had caught sight of the coming horde and ran to their village elder.

“Elder! There is a massive army on the horizon; they turn the steppe black with their passing.” One said

“I thought we paid our tribute to the river lords?” The elder said standing

“They are not river lords, elder, they are Gorrin.” The other said

“Then they have finally awoken.” The elder said grabbing a long unused sword from a chest “I will face their Warchief, if I lose we will join them and they shall march on the river lords.” His face was sunken and filled with sorrow

“But elder no one could beat the river lords.” The two farmers said in unison

“The Warherds can.”

The Herd of the River
Expansion post 3/5

When the Pale Druid arrived at the small farming village along the river with the Khorijin raiding party he was surprised to see that it was not fortified in almost any way,he also noticed the sad state that it was in many of the of the cattle looked sick or half starved and the fields of wheat looked near barren.

Outside the village stood what could have once been a proud warrior now sunken in his old armor and weakly holding a sword in his hands. The old warrior stepped forward and drew every inch of breath his tired body could “I am Nogdok, the elder of this village and I challenge your Warchief to a Tsakhilgaan dueli,if he wins he may have my herd,if I win then you shall leave us and never return!”

Khaokzar stamped his hoof to the ground “That runt thinks he has the rights of a Warchief. We should show him what his ignorance gets him and his people!”

The Pale Druid put his hand up to silence the young warrior “Greetings Nogdok! I am Molgrac the Warchief of Khorijin Herd and a member of the Kharzor Warherd! I respect your bravery and Gorrin pride to demand a duel!” The Pale Druid took a few steps back “I appoint my champion Khaokzar to fight you in my name.”

Khaokzar looked to his Warchief “But the Tsakhilgaan dueli is meant to be fought between two Warchiefs? Why would I fight him.”

Molgrac grinned “This is your chance to show him “What his Ignorance earns him.” And I am needed elsewhere. I hear the call of the Süns and I must answer and do what they command.”

Nogdok looked to the two of them “Then send him let him face my blade and I his axe and let the gods decide who truly is worthy to lead! I am ready to fight for my people!”

Khaokzar stomped reading his massive axe for combat “I will show you who the Süns favor weakling then I shall show your wife!”

The old warrior ran forward though his body moved clearly sluggishly “Then come at me you brute!”

They began to clash, Khaokzar attacking with a brutish rage and the Old Nogdok blocking just barely with his tired body, but with one wrong move Nogdok was knocked to the ground and the pale warrior stood above him tasing his axe to deliver the final blow.

“Now die you old fool!” Khaokzar yelled before swinging his axe down to only find a magical wall in his way.

The Pale Druid clapped behind him “That is enough Jijigkhen!”

He then looked to Nogdok who shared the look of confusion that was on Khaokzar’s face “You will join our army and march on your river lords,if you and your people survive and so well you shall become a herd within the Kharzor,if not your people will become Khorijin. This is the will of Giorn and this we shall do.”

Into the shadows. Part 1
Expansion post 1/5

Three species now inhabited the land of Camoral. The Yuannon and the Gorrin, who both have a role in the ruling of the nation, and both have a large representative within the courts and the army, and the Lopexians. The Lopexians entered the nation by way of conquest, and therefore don’t have a role within the ruling of the nation, outside of taking care of the land they lived upon. However, by decree of King Lar, the Lopexians were not treated any lesser than the other two people of the nation. Because of their small amounts they would not be forming an army, but would instead serve as a special forces unit. While Yuannon parties are sent out to convince tribes and smaller kingdoms to join Camoral, Lopexians are send to take care of those that will not bend their knee to the King and Queen. Just within a month of joining Camoral and getting their advanced roles, they were assigned their first mission. Some Yuannon diplomats had mysteriously disappeared after being send to convince a small ‘kingdom’ lying to the North and West of the one true kingdom to join Camoral. the 1st Squad was send out to convince this kingdom to join Camoral, one way or another. The squad was made up of 10 Lopexian warriors, and their leader Matu. Matu was not only an excellent warrior, he was an excellent strategist, as well as someone who knew how to get things done, quietly. Right now, him and his team were pushed against the walls of the town that houses the leadership of the kingdom that thought it would be a smart idea to try and pose a threat to Camoral. Queen Sha’ri does not take those things kindly, especially when her fellow Yuannon disappear in the process. They were covered by the shadows of the wall, as well as the clouds, which casted great shadows once they swallowed the moon. The second that the Lopexians saw that the guards just past their location in their boring patrols, they threw ropes attached to hooks up the wall, and they quickly sneaked into the town, with no one noticing. Using the shadows of the buildings, they would make their way to the townhall that serves as a seat for this so-called king.

Into the Shadows. Part 2
Expansion post 2/5
While it wasn’t a big town, it certainly wasn’t a small one either. Matu and his men, jumped from shadow to shadow until they found what they were looking for. An abandoned house. No matter how rich a town might say that it is, there will always be some abandoned buildings on the outskirts of the town. From here, the squad would scout out the town, figure out where the ‘king’ is at what times of the day, and find out who would be a nice successor, one that would join the kingdom of Camoral. All very important tasks, and none of them would be completed to easily. Once the team had set up inside the house, Matu called the squad for a meeting.
“Alright squad, this is our first mission for the Kingdom of Camoral, so let’s not mess it up. While the King and Queen seem forgiving enough that we would not get punished, if we want to move higher up within this kingdom we must prove our worth. We have three jobs to do before we deal with the current ruler of this place. Firstly, we must figure out what the layout is of this town so that we can disappear among its citizens if necessary. Second, find out where the ‘King’ goes at what times each day, what is his routine? Find a pattern. Third, find a proper successor for him in case we do have to resort to a lethal method of dealing with him. I will allocate the jobs, we will work in teams, and we will get this done effectively and smoothly. Alright, let’s get to work.”
Matu quickly allocated the jobs to the members of the team and everyone went to work. Over the next week or so the Lopexians did exactly what they were supposed to do. They mapped out the town with ease, and without being suspicious towards the locals. They stalked the ‘king’ figuring out exactly what he does each day, and at what time. He lived strict life, doing the same things each day, which would make their mission easier. Finally, they found a young politician who wanted the King to join Camoral, a perfect successor if that time comes. While the town hall was well guarded, it was easy for the squad to slip by the guards. The guards were complacent, and had not seen any action in years. Once inside, all ten Lopexians went right to where the King would be, by himself. He was in his chapel, praying to his gods. They slipped inside and patiently waited for him to turn around. The chapel was sound proof, so his screams for help would not be heard. Which was good, because once he turned around he shouted or his guards.
“They can’t hear you,” Matu said. “Don’t worry, we are just hear to talk. An army is underway, an army you cannot beat. Open your gates and we shall let you live. Keep them closed and we shall replace you.”
The King looked shocked, but shock quickly turned to anger. “How dare you.” He shouted. “I am a King, you cannot talk to me like that.”
Matu smiled. “And you will not be a king for long if you talk to me like that.”
The King turned white, but stayed defiant. “I will not bow to your wishes.”
“As you wish.” Matu said, the smile fading from his face. “I do not wish to negotiate with the likes of you.” He quickly unsheathed his sword, and cut the king’s throat. “You will be replaced.”
By the time the Camoralian army arrived the gates were open, and the people welcomed their new brothers and sisters with open arms. Matu and his job completed their mission, and they completed it well
