Warning Sirens

Antonio Castille sat at his new desk, poring over state documents. After taking power in a coup, he had been awake day and night attempting to reorganize Soltierra and consolidate his power.

As he stared at the already massive pile of classified documents, Castille let out an audible sigh as some aide handed him yet another folder, this one about security in Orotina, one of the SSU's constituent republics. He opened the folder, and began reading, downing several cups of coffee in the process. The documents detailed that Orotina was not nearly as loyal as previously perceived- according to the papers, a full twenty-six percent of the populace were Merconian sympathizers, actively working to dismantle the socialist system in Soltierra.

When Castille saw the number, his jaw dropped. He instantly called a meeting with Soltierra's new People's Security Agency, organizing a plan to purge UF sympathizers from power and restore ideological loyalty in Orotina.
