Establishment of the Royal Japanese Shipping Company

Evergreen Marine Corporation, ONE Marine Corporation, Yang Ming Marine Corporation, and Wan Hai Lines have announced a merger to form the Royal Japanese Shipping Company which will be the worlds second largest shipping company after the Mediterranean Shipping Company. These companies current offices will be renamed to the Royal Japanese Shipping Company offices with some being consolidated. The current operations of these companies, existing contracts, ships, routes, etc will carry over

The Royal Japanese Shipping Company will become publicly available on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and has also received a royal charter for trade and exploration by Emperor Hirosito.

Evergreen Marine Corporation’s current railroad subsidiary in Flourishing Southlands will now operate under the Royal Japanese Shipping Company with the renaming of the railroad subsidiary to the Royal Japanese Brazilian Railway. The Royal Japanese Shipping Company has also negotiated with the Brazilian government to have mineral exploration rights and competing for mineral mining/timber license rights within the Brazilian in exchange for a Brazilian investment firm to acquire a 9.5% stake in the company which will see a return on their total investments and also an additional return the Royal Japanese Mining Company mining operations within Brazil. The Royal Japanese Shipping Company will form a subsidiary called the Royal Japanese Brazilian Mineral Exploration Company for its stated purpose above.
