Eliz Ghazaryan becomes the first woman president!
The results of the general elections are in, and the National Election Committee officially announced that, with 54% of the votes, the current first lady will become the new president of Varduvan on 10 October, in a historic handover ceremony, as it will be the first time that the presidential medal will be awarded to a woman.
The immediate reactions were marches by leftist militants celebrating the victory, a press conference by the terrorist Tkvaruri Liberation Army, claiming that "Ghazaryan's triumph was the triumph of respect for ethnic minorities" and obviously the opinions of the candidates; the losing candidate, Barkev Gharakhanian, stated that the destruction of Varduvan is coming, and ordered his militants to continue their struggle in the 4 years of the radical candidate's government, on the other hand, the winner of the election, held a press conference with her husband, the current president, who will become the first knight, in which she thanked the voters, and said that they will work for Varduvan as they have done so far.
