Hi Thaecia! My name is Solittus and I am running for the Senate for this upcoming term. I have served as an MP in the House of Commons for three terms, participating regularly and remaining dedicated to Thaecia. I am running, once again, for the Thaecian Globalist Party (TGP), of which I am the Deputy Chair. During my tenure in the House of Commons I have written multiple bills (including the Presidential Removal and WA Delegate Act, which I authored with Brototh). You can find out more about my prospective policies below.

These are just a few of my policies and ideas for Thaecia, which I hope to implement if I am elected to the Senate:

  • I support the idea to rename the World Assembly Delegate to the President, as I realise that the President has a cultural aspect which Thaecia really benefits from.

  • I support, and I am involved in the development of, the policy to introduce a hybrid version, including a legislature made up of an elected chamber and a chamber for all citizens.

  • I will amend L.R. 051 so that debates in Congress last a maximum of 72 hours, and the voting stage lasts a maximum of 48 hours. As well as this, I will include that after a bill has passed one house of congress, it must be debated and voted on by the other house within 15 days. This is so that there is less of a delay between houses. As well as this, it ensures the legislature achieves all it needs to within a term and so that all members of Congress have the opportunity to propose legislation. As we have seen, both houses have struggled with inactivity and I believe that this may be an ample opportunity to reverse that. You can read a draft of this bill here: An Amendment to L.R. 051.
