Vultesia 2022: a list of 23 players without surprise announced by Silvia Parejo

Guest of the sports talk show Los Manolos this Monday, the coach of the Gavrilian women's team revealed the names of the 23 players selected to participate in the IFA Women’s World Cup in Vultesia in July, where Las Azules will compete.

As expected, the 30-year-olds Enrique, Ledesma and Azuaga will not be on the trip to Vultesia, unless there is an unlikely change of heart between now and June 26 at 23:59, the date on which the coach must officially transmit her list. Voted best player of the national league on 21 May against Puerto Real, Enrique has done everything to keep the flame of hope alive on the pitch. But the Santa Elena midfielder put herself offside in the fall of 2020 by publicly criticizing Parejo, who did not forgive her.

Her teammate Eugenia Ledesma will also be left behind. The leading scorer in the history of Las Azules (46 goals), rarely a starter at club level, is a victim of the fierce competition in attack. As for Azuaga, whose situation is "very complicated" at club level according to Parejo, the horizon is blocked by her extra-sporting torments. The defensive midfielder, who was violently assaulted in early November by two unidentified individuals, has since fallen out with several members of the team, notably Bordagaray and Araujo, who suspect that she directed the investigators towards their entourage. She has not played for Real Gavrilopolis since an altercation during training in late April.
