Floyssauuan Frigate Shot at After Straying Too Close to Corridor
The AMFC's mine corridor, dubbed the "Corridor of Death," was the subject of much tension recently as a Floyssauuan frigate strayed too close to the opening for the comfort of one particular submarine. While it remained within international waters, the ARN Warhammer, a Scythe-class Nuclear Attack Submarine, noticed it creeping too close, and in an attempt to drive the frigate off, launched two timer-fused torpedoes and aimed them near, but not at or too close to, the frigate. The resulting explosions rocked the ship around, but the shockwaves weren't serious enough to do any damage and the frigate was allowed to turn back for the rest of the fleet. Second of Third Cassius Macer later reported that he carried out the "warning shot" as a means of protecting the corridor from surveillance, but Lead First of Second Fidiculania Metella claims he did nothing but "expose the corridor's location to the enemy."

Fidiculania has decided to not take any disciplinary action against Cassius, but she has made it clear to the rest of the submarines in the corridor that none of them are to ever engage unless an enemy ship enters Aidian territorial waters. The Aidian government has also made a statement that while the incident was unfortunate, they won't be apologetic about it.
"Frankly, they can [censored] off. They started this, so they can deal with the consequences," President Scaeva stated in a press conference shortly after the incident.

Art Exhibit Vandalized by Ill-Tempered Children
Tragically, an art exhibit from famous 12th century Aidian artist, Gaius Bantius Figulus, was absolutely devastaed by a group of ill-tempered pre-teens that were caught multiple times shouting "art sucks, streaming is better" at patrons. This was the first time these particular pieces were taken out of secured fixtures for years, and the AICC (or Aidian Internal Protection Agency) has taken the children into custody and is currently awaiting a date for their trial, as the exhibit and art piece owners are pressing charges.

Kaesertor Announces Huge Government Contract
Kaesertor Industries, specifically their Kaesertor Automobiles Branch, has announced that they are excited to sign a massive contract with the Aidian Peace Forces to produce a "huge number" of land vehicles for their efforts to militarize the nation for the new defense initiative. This, along with another, even more massive, contract with Interstellar Shipping and Shipwright Incorporated, marks the last contract the APF will make, according to President Scaeva.

"We intend to go back to our debt-free governmental policy after this crisis, and with Floyssauu's inaction, along with massive waves of support from both allies and friends, we don't believe this... situation will escalate much further. Should they decide to attack, it will be a devastating push towards our lands, and we already have enough built up to deal with and repel an invasion." He would later continue with, "honestly, this whole ordeal is just a waste of resources for both of us."

Aidia's Government Supports Baikala's Removal from Conference.
The Senate has decided to take the initiate this time, and Chief Senator Minidius Regulus made an announcement shortly after a session was held in response to Baikala's removal from the Unity Conference.
"We in the Aidian government applaud the Unity Conference's organizers for their quick removal of Baikala. They took the noble goal of peace, as well as our [all the nations in the conference's] trust, and abused it for their own gain. It's shameful, really. First Floyssauu's attacks and now this. We're starting to see that some parts of the world have even less honor than the Nadris, which is shocking to say the least."

After the Chief Senator's announcement was made, President Scaeva added some remarks during the conference.
"Aidia is proud to be apart of an organization that takes action against these things," he spoke, "but I'll be honest, we don't feel like this is enough. Their official ally, a nation that is actively closing us in and blockading us from the world, is still allowed to attend without consequence. I hate to do this after such an event, but I feel the need to. Floyssauu needs to be removed. They shouldn't be allowed to attend a conference of peace while they actively wage hostility against us."
