EU PARLIAMENT CENSORS THE PROPOSED CABINET OVER GENDER DISPARITY !!

Yesterday, the European Parliament censored the proposed EU Cabinet. This decision was motivated by the fact out of 10 members, only 2 were female.

The composition proposed by the Council was widely criticized by feminist groups on social media calling the EU a "land of macho technocrats". The Parliament considered the composition as "not reflecting the gender diversity that should be part of the composition of the Council".

Other political groups declared that this censorship was "motivated purely by feminist politics".

The Council will meet again to revise its paper before finally announcing the new Commission, Council Presidents and the Foreign Affairs Officer. Hopefully without another censorship vote.
