The Golgothian Trade Ministry is proud to announce that a new trade deal has been struck with Janusus. Golgothian merchants will be selling significant quantities of their tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, and other nicotine-delivering items), as well as a number of books, mainly philosophical, political, and literary.

In exchange, Golgothia will be purchasing comparable quantities of fine Janususian gin. Gin is the second most popular drink in Golgothia (after vodka), and Golgothian alcohol connoisseurs are already expressing excitement about the impending wider availability of gin varieties which have hitherto been difficult or impossible to obtain domestically.

To inaugurate and celebrate this agreement, Aleksandr Petrovitch, head of the department of philosophy at the University of Ilyagrad, will be giving a lecture series based on his work Liberty and Monarchism: The Paradox of Benevolent Tyranny in the Janususian capital of Libertas.

In addition, Janusuian master distiller Wolfgang Mansfield, of the Mansfield Brothers Distillery, will be hosting a series of gin tastings for Golgothian connoisseurs and gin enthusiasts in Ilyagrad.

The Golgothian Trade Ministry celebrates this agreement and extends its thanks to its counterparts in Janusus, and we expect the agreement will be to the mutual prosperity of each nation.
