Unexpectedly, two of the nine members of the aristocracy of the council (the oligarchic government of North kowen) come under the charges of treason, conspiracy to destabilize the government, conspiracy to murder, along with other numerous counts. Both were quickly arrested by state police and incarcerated at an undisclosed location. The two aristocrats, Hyon Young-Il and Kong Jin-Young, pleaded not guilty to the charges and a televised trial was held across North Kowen with the seven remaining council members acting as the jury and judge. Il and Young were found guilty of all charges and are sentenced to death, awaiting execution.
RP
The remaining council members after the trial finish with their first major pieces of legislation passed by them. Mainly economic reform of the nation by establishing departments for separate fields of labor to replace labor unions along with the plan to extract more of North kowen’s natural resources, mainly iron and coal, to bring to the global market and to expand the ever-growing North Kowenian steel industry.
RP
North Kowenian diplomat to Mantaslavia, Ryong Young-Min, has requested to meet with Vladislav Kolekchin to talk about a proposed economic treaty between the two nations that would allow both nations to have workers easily travel through the nations through a newly drafted visa system and suggest the offer of a trade deal between the two nations of the exchanging of natural resources to establish a secure economic base between North Kowen and Mantaslavia.

RP
Mantaslavia happily welcomes the North Kowenian diplomat into the capitol, and Vladislav Kolekchin gladly accepts the economic treaty.

The advisor wants to set up a meeting with Mantaslavia in hopes some peace can be resolved. If they refused it they will not have a choice but to declare war on the nation.

RP
Mantaslavia schedules a meeting and waits for the arrival of Brodoa More.
