Region: The Hole To Hide In

With no nearby nations to go to (except those that went to Waves summit, only to meet their maker later.), many of the fascist ex-politicians are either captured, commit suicide, or try to go into hiding among the Kowenian populace.

After the coup, the monarchy is off to a rough start. Many (including the king) struggle to determine how far the monarchy would go in the name of national security and maintaining peace and order within South Kowen’s own borders, small democratic uprisings occur across South kowen in response to the coup. The uprisings lead in an increased amount of violence against monarch loyalists and democratic reformers, furthering the divide between the monarchists and the libertarians which we once allies during the civil war. The monarchy is reluctant to use force to crush the uprisings in fear of a massive outrage, and looks to it’s ally, Rumanian States, for advice and help.

Army and Advisors
100,000 Rumanian troops begin a journey to South Kowen, their mission is to help the new Kowenian Monarchy suppress and put down the rebellions. Of the 100,000 soldiers only 25,000 will actually work to actively put down rebellions the rest are to stay garrisoned near armories, ports, airports, population centers etc. Along with the troops there are Rumanian "delegates" to Kowen, although they are really advisors to the Monarchy. In charge of the operations in Kowen is a General Mihai Antonescu, though the entire operation is watched heavily by the Royal Courts and the King. Once the first 50,000 soldiers arrive 25,000 of them will detach and begin to put down rebellions, whether it be forcefully or peacefully.

Navy
The newly formed "Kowen Fleet" has started to make their way towards South Kowen, so far the fleet only consists of 6 destroyers, 4 missile cruisers, 3 heavy cruisers, and a "battle cruiser".

With the overwhelming military support, the uprisings are quickly intimidated into silence. Citizens still hold protests about it with rumors spreading around that some of the rival political groups begin to stockpile and prepare for a future conflict.

King Ryon Jae-Wook and his cabinet of advisors has created a legislation that is to increase “the budget of law enforcement by 300%” and that this change is to be “effective immediately.” A spokesperson for the king publicly said in a speech that “[...] a nation must maintain law and order within it’s own defined borders. A more effective police force will deal with threats to the public good more efficiently and effectively.”

King Wook’s cabinet has also created and passed laws establishing “basic worker’s rights” and improving working conditions across South kowen. A pretty monumental decision by cabinet that receives quite a bit of praise by the people. Supporters say that this act shows that the (monarch) government shows it’s sympathies to the people and is a sign of possible future rights to come. Critics of the bill say that “[...] this will now create further legislation that may or may not be enforced and may cause some strain on the economy.”
RP: Assassination
Nicolas Vami, a Rumanian States diplomat to South Kowen, was assassinated while leaving the embassy to meet with King Wook and his cabinet to discuss how to deal with Rumanian armed forces being present in South Kowen. The assassin, Kal Chung-Hee, killed Vami in response to the violent response of the pro-democratic uprisings by Kowenian/Rumanian forces. Hee had managed to sneak through a crowd of reporters outside of the Rumanian embassy and get within just meters of Vami as he was leaving the embassy. Hee then pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and shot Vami three times in the torso, Hee was killed shortly after by Rumanian embassy guards. Vami was rushed to a nearby hospital, but died later as a result of the gunshot wounds. Gheorghe Ionnais, another diplomat present at the embassy was unharmed during the ordeal.
