Live Broadcast From Libya Humanitarian Camp 1

By Tạ Ý Lan

“Good evening ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for joining me at ANF Humanitarian Camp 1. Today we are speaking to some of the men and women that are here to provide aid to the civilians of Libya who have been caught up in this bitter civil war.”

The camera followed Tạ Ý Lan as she walked over to a tall man wearing the ANF military uniform.

“This is General Richard Wellington who is the Kirin Taq General is part of the ANF Military Committee. He is also the man leading this operation.

Thank you for joining us tonight General, so can you tell us what the mission here is for ANF Personal and how successful it has been so far?”

“Certainly, our mission here is quite simple. It’s to provide humanitarian aid to the people of this nation who have found themselves in the unfortunate position to be caught in the middle of the fighting. Many people here have been starving or serfering from dehydration. Others have been injured in the fighting, and have required medical treatment.

Anouther aspect of our mission here is to provide shelter to the people along with basic medical supplies to help them survive. However, whilst we have been successful in our mission we are barely able to cope with the numbers arriving. In addition we are constantly plagued by attempted raids.”

The camera zooms out to encompass both Tạ Ý Lan and the General.

“Do you know who are conducting these raids?”

“At the moment we belive it is a Secound rebel faction, that seems to be against both the Libyan Government and Freedom Fighters. As such we have had to increase our military presence here to ensure the people are protected.”

“How has the Libyan Government reacted to ANF presence here now that ANF has a food hold in Libya”

“Well that’s been tricky, at first they were rather angry at our presence, and a lot of dialogue is still taking place. Whilst no formal action against us has been taken it doesn't mean it won't be in the future. So we are prepared to evacuate the camp if needs be, but we hope that they well recognise that our efforts here are nothing but peaceful and about helping people.”

“Thank to you General. Next we will be taking a tour around parts of the camp and talking to a number of other people”

The rest of the broadcast focused on a tour of the medical facilities, supply tent and various other key parts to the camp. The tour also resulted in a number of people both ANF military and Libyan Civilians giving interviews on what they experienced in the camp and outside of the camp.
