It is apparent that the current system of Government is not functioning as intended. Changes are needed. The constitution and laws of this Union are hereby suspended. From this point forward, the Senate, which shall be comprised of the leaders of this Union, shall hold all legislative, executive, and judicial authority.

As the former President and WA Delegate, I shall act as Consul of the Senate until further notice.

You have little to no integration with the community of the region, both past and present, a lot of us have gotten to know each other over the years, even to the point where we'd like to try and meet up in real life, hopefully one day. You have never tried to mix with the community, you have missed years of chats and banter. You want to see bullying reference the court case about Bi, that was bullying.

Which brings me to my next point, you are not being bullied here, you are getting the same banter the rest of us throw at each other, you wonder why it's always you, but if you mixed with the community you'd see it's normal and everyone laughes at it, you are the only one getting upset, we have discord channels full of memes about each other, you'd know if you made the effort, you were invited the links were all there.

You have damaged this region possibly beyond repair, we would have merged with Handals region which would have brought a lot more activity to the region, but you wouldn't give up your power. To make matters worse, when we were getting spammed with court case's, when those in charge really needed you to stop larping so they could take a proper look at the regions laws and reform them, but instead you kept setting them back time and again playing right into the hands of the regions enemies, you let LSM and elmito, cripple the region, maybe if you had some common sense you would have put down those case's, it's not about "oh but these are the laws" the laws aren't exactly working if our enemies can cripple us with them, SOMETHING YOU HELPED THEM DO

Nations left this great Union because of Gazoo? That is a lie!!

Gazoo thought there was a freedom of speech in this great Union protected by our Constitution since Gazoo is a citizen of this great Union Gazoo used its rights to it extend. Gazoo do remember the implementation of that "light" gag law to prevent nations to do consecutive post in the board. Gazoo believes it can violate the freedom of speech but the Government have the right to regulate the boards without prohibiting the freedom of speech.

Gazoo doesnt participate in the role playing board that you and The British Imperial have established because Gazoo doesnt have time. Gazoo is an Ivy League student! Gazoo is very busy in Cornell University and will be even more busy in Harvard University and Gazoo knows that joining the RP RMB wont produce a lot of joy to everyone in it. Gazoo interacts with a lot of nations! Gazoo talks in the telegrams section although the majority talks in discord (which Gazoo enter from time to time) interact with many nations here in the RMB and in the telegrams.

Gazoo doesnt get bullied? Gazoo is the nation that gets attacked constantly because of Gazoo beliefs and viewpoint! You said it yourself, there a few nations that dont like Gazoo views (there a lot of nations here that are conservative and support Gazoo views). Also Gazoo is the only nation that have was attacked by imposter nations in this Union (supported by a few here). No other nations has been through that incredible pain. Gazoo have damaged the Union! That is a lie!!! Gazoo have help this Union to have the fairest Judicial Branch in history and even in all NationStates! Nations were taking you and others to Court because violations of the law and constitutional. Everyone involved had the opportunity to provided their allegations and defended yourself. Gazoo as Chief Justice FAIR and BALANCED in all Court cases

Gazoo find it funny when you considered La summa malitia and Elmito enemies when they were only two nations and the minority in Government and yet time after time the Majority was trumbling their rights. Gazoo dont considered them enemies (Gazoo do believe they were annoying) of the Union. They were trying maintain the rights of everyone in the Union.

So in conclusion., If Gazoo is so bad, what can Gazoo do? To shut up? to leave? to go with the flow? Tell everyone what you want Gazoo to be.

I agree with this with a few modifications, the Senate shall operate as the Executive and Legislative body. I think we should keep it this way for a while.

May I begin by wishing our Founder South Waterford a most speedy recovery. I ask that you all keep him in your thoughts through this most turbulent time.

Real life can be a real pain in the ass.

I would also like to apologize for my decline in activity as of late. My career, as I expected, demands a great deal of time and energy, and I have neglected this Union as a result. I have kept a watchful eye, and while nothing extremely concerning has occurred, I can't help but notice the steady decline of our Union, as well as nationstates as a whole. It appears an era of tough times has set in for the community as a whole.

My reasoning for the recent abrupt change in government should be obvious. It is ultimately necessary,

However, I must temporarily decline a few of the Founder's requests.

Of course the Founder will remain Head of State. The exact function of that role is yet to be determined.

As far as the Supreme Court, well...as of now, there is no Supreme Court, no Constitution, and no Chief Judge. I expect that to be our first order of business, establishing a constitution of laws. In the meantime, as Zetox being the former Chief Justice, and a most influential and renowned member of the Union, take his place in the Senate as this new constitution is erected. Should it be the will of the Union, I have no issue with granting the founder's request to keep Gazoo as the Chief of the Judiciary.

This region has always functioned as a Democracy, but it is in need of dire leadership. I believe the role of Consul will fill this role adequately.

The first order of business is to draft a new constitution which removes the faults of all previous. I will be awaiting the voice of the Senate on this matter, as the current Senate represent the will of the people. More now than it ever has.

You are the Founder, and of course will remain as Head of State, we just don't have a title or official role for you quite yet. For now, you will fill the role of Senator and have an equal voice as a citizen of this region in determining our course of action.

As far as the Chief Justice, there is no Supreme Court, and there is no constitution, so it is ridiculous to exclude Zetox from the Senate and assign him a meaningless role that yet serves no purpose. I believe Zetox deserves to take a part in the building of this constitution as a member of the Senate.

If I must speak plainly, one of the problems with previous constitutions and previous governments is your dictatorial-style stranglehold on several facets of the government. Now I'm willing to side with what you want concerning Zetox continuing on as Chief Judge, but I do believe the people of this region deserve an equal voice on this matter.

I agree wholeheartedly with your view on a very simplified constitution, as well as your views on constantly needing a new fix. However, I believe the greatest problem with the last constitution was that you made it impossible to be amended. Amendments are a necessary part of the constitutional process.

I also agree with your views on the focus of government being overly legislative. While I've always believed that is an important part of the game, and will continue to be, I do agree that we need to put more focus on roleplay and WA legislation. I also believe taking part in raiding is an excellent way of boosting activity and morale.

I think that this next constitution and system of government be designed to be flexible to the changing needs of the region. Too often we are too restrictive in the role of government.

How we go about this new constitution will be done democratically, listening to the voice of the people of this Union. I believe it has become apparent that how this region is governed should not be up to you, nor to me, but to the people. We will all figure this out together. I will be taking charge as the leader of this new Senate as a vanguard of the people. It is their voice that will be heard above all else.
