Awesome. And somewhat relieved. The United States might survive as a free country a bit longer.

It's more or less the same thing here in Brazil, it's difficult not to insult your political opponent

It's a wasted vote. Unless you don't particularly care who wins, in which case, it's a protest vote.

This pisses me off. It is these thoughts that allow our garbage 2-party system. If anyone wants real change, we've got to get out of that garbage and allow for a 3rd party candidate. Does it have to be the Libertarians? No (although I'm a Libertarian and would prefer that). But, there has to be a third choice

My take on the election (if you don't care, I understand LOL):
I'm a Libertarian that voted for Trump. I usually go third party, but I would never be able to forgive myself if Harris won. This was a battle between democracy versus socialism. A battle between common sense versus extremism. To me, there was only one clear choice. Trump lost New Jersey (my God-awful state) by less than 5 points. New Jersey is officially purple. Trump had no business being so close in a deep blue state, but he did it. Harris failed across the board. In the swing states, she went after abortion like it was no bodies business. There are 7 swing states, 6 of them have no restrictions on abortion (only Georgia does), so the push for abortion rights didn't really affect them. Trump over-performed in urban and suburban areas, which is what made the difference. Democrats b*tch, moan, and complain, but they don't vote. Conservatives vote in droves, like they did on Tuesday.

I'm not a huge fan of Trump, but the best candidate won. 4 years of hopeful prosperity is on the horizon.
