The tide is turning. Bruma has been saved, and Martin Septim has claimed his birthright! It's time for every citizen to do their part... even you.

Zetox wrote:Gazoo is a conservative, a proud conservative! Gazoo think is the most conservative nation in this great Union! Who is talking about foreign interference? Still talking about how allegedly President Trump had help from the Russian, well that hasn't been proven! Plus President Trump is a natural-born citizen of the United States!

President Obama inherited a lot from President Bush and the only thing he did good was ordering the strike against Osama Bin Laden. President Trump once he entered fixed Obama shady or lackluster deals made it great before the Chinese-Wuhan Virus sidetracked the process (but President Trump is working on fixing that and with his reelection there is no doubt he will be able to do it again)

President Trump respect everyone including the Pride community

Gazoo doesn't support the Confederacy! Gazoo is from the North, way up north! Gazoo just believe history and culture must be respected!

I must of misunderstood your previous post. Anyhow, Russia might of helped President Trump indirectly. Currently, I believe that Trump did not colluded with Russia to win the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election. If he did, the FBI or NSA would of warn about this sort of collusion, but then again both of the agencies are somewhat incompetent.

Yes, he inherited the Financial Crisis, which, as I stated before, helped reduce the unemployment rate and budget deficit. Your response is vague. You did not include those great 'deals' Trump introduced, which basically initiated a Trade War with China.

Are you sure about that? Not once have I heard Trump supporting or respecting the LGBTQ+ community.

So we should glorify people who were nothing but savages by enslaving and torturing African Americans. They deserve a place in history, which is inside textbooks and no more than that. Confederate soldiers and leaders do not deserve statues or special treatment from the United States of America. Gazoo, I believed you have said that the Republican Party is the party of Abraham Lincoln. Don't you think he would of being disappointed for seeing many Confederate monuments across the old South. He oppose slavery, so why would he support these Confederate statues.

Stop trying to destroying history because you don't like it, like it or not those men earned it in their day when we had different views and standards, learn from it and let it serve as reminder of how far we've come, you can't change the past, if you try to erase it you'll find yourself repeating it.

To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.

Teddy Roosevelt

Some words you should take in

I don’t believe in removing confederate monuments. They were Americans, loyal to their states more than their nation, just as the northerners were back then. America wasn’t really a nation until after the civil war. We are a federation of states, and people forget that. Not to mention some of those generals were some of the best in American history.

And in all honesty, to remove reference anyone who committed atrocities from our history would remove our entire history. From the genocide of the native Americans to the enslavement if blacks, to the exploitation of any man or woman to turn a profit. We are a nation founded on atrocity and that’s just the way it is.

What needs taught is history’s faults, not a coverup of it.

Zetox meant outsider as in someone from outside the established politicians, not from outside America.

Wrong! The Financial Crisis happened during the Bush administration. It was inherited by the Obama administration, which he, with the help of the established Republicans, eliminated the threat of another depression, and the unemployment rate and budget defict exponentially decreased. Also, forgive my naiveté; what were those deals again?

Well, I am not the one who supports, respects, and loves so much a president that does not celebrate Pride Month. Actually, I have a relative that is homosexual and I never have disrespected him in regards of his sexual orientation. Also, I respect and support any person that is part of the LGBTQ community, and if I have offended anyone with this post please forgive me.

Of course, I know you are not homosexual, but you show love towards a person who supports bigotry, racism, and the Confederate leaders. If you support the Confederacy, then you are a traitor to the United States of America.

Can't we count this as slander? He was simply stating that History is important.

I think that they should do something like what former communist states did after the fall of the USSR where they moved the statues into one area and gave each statue a plaque taking about the person addressing both the bad and the good.

Former Vice-President and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has also defended keeping monuments to presidents past, but said those memorialising Confederate leaders should be taken down.

"The idea of comparing whether or not George Washington owned slaves or Thomas Jefferson owned slaves, and somebody who was in rebellion committing treason trying to take down a union to keep slavery, I think there's a distinction there," Mr Biden said at a recent news conference.

He added that Confederate statues of people who "strongly supported secession and maintaining slavery" should go to museums.

Mr Obama has also touched on the issues over Confederate memorials in the past, saying the Confederate flag belongs in a museum.

Obama and Biden echo my views exactly.

By taking down statues of confederate generals or officers, you are actually stabbing the people who are mistreated by them. Wiping away history won’t help, learning about the history, and looking at what horrible acts they have done, and stopping yourself and others from doing the same things is the only way forward. History is about learning from the mistakes made.

I thought everyone got uppity because a corrupt copper killed an unarmed man? What does it have anything to do with culture?
