I spent more than an hour drafting up a very small news article about GMO rice. And I'd bet only like 7 people saw it (and fewer read it) because the forums are super obscured from the rest of the site. There's no easy dashboard to see stuff your region does as a whole, only hoping someone pins it to the region's page after it's brought to their attention. Or self promoting posts on the RMB that get buried in semi active conversations by people talking about non-NS related things

And nobody has any reason to be invested in sporadic hard to find posts about banal topics like that.

Disappointment for good reason. A couple people are sick and aren't showing any of the big boy symptoms? PANDEMIC ALERT EVERYONE SHUT DOWN.

Thousands upon thousands quarantined in disease ghettos and disfigured for life, while even more are dead? oh man that sucks how horrible

When doing an RP like that it might be a good idea to set expectations for how nations will react and then everyone can base their reactions around that and how others are reacting. If you don't and someone goes all the way, others are going to follow suit.

I think Atnaia's trouble with RP has been that he never really sets plans for people or too much structure/expectations. His strategy has mostly been, I'll provide a theme and some worldbuilding and then you guys react however and then it backfires. I think that most RPs need structure and expectations in order to go somewhere, this is storytelling afterall, writers usually don't shoot from the hip.

Btw, not an attack against At, he's one of the better RPers out there, I just don't fully agree with the freeflow style

Everyone regardless of ethnicity or nationality understands the appeal of pretty girls. And customizable webpages aren't a new thing at all. Weird homebrew pages were everywhere in the early years of the home use internet
