I agree however, not for the same reasons. I remember doing a research paper on WWI/WWII and the one thing that was fairly compromising was the ignorance of Kaiser Wilhelm II. Essentially signing and writing to Austria a blank check for X amount of support, the Austria-Hungary nation went to war under the assurance that the Kaiser was going to back up their efforts against Serbia.

The Kaiser's however were of the exact opposite. What Austria interpreted as a blank check was what the Kaiser thought was "moral support" for the grieving Austrian Royal family. He also thought that the Czar was going to side with him and Austria because he felt that the royalty of Europe would unite together in order to put the common peoples back into their place. I kid you not, he was so sure of this that when news that Austria-Hungary and Serbia had gone to war reached his desk, he was vacationing on his yacht and utterly dumbfounded as to what the bloody hell was going on.

The stupidity of the Kaiser of German played a major part in the powder keg that blew up starting WWI. And the world will forever lambast his arse to infamy ever yonder -.-
