I would like to make a motion that we revoke Matthew McConaughey's Texan card.

the grounds for this action are that he publically suggested that gun owners take one for the team when speaking in favor of gun confiscation.

Well he's a longhorn so I don't like him anyways very few of his movies are good. Plus he's still living in Hollywood I suggest he move back to Texas so we can unwash his brain and bring back the Texan in him.

Can a non WA member can be commended or condemned ? ( I am just wondering; it is probably a stupid question )

I don't think so because any and all WA or SC bills voted on are non-binding to any non WA nations so I presume the same can be said for condemnations and commendations. I look into it then come back with a better answer.

Yes, they can: Otherwise any nation that didn't want to be condemned could just leave the WA until the idea died down.

GA resolutions are non-binding on non-WA nations: SC ones, by their nature, can affect everybody.

Lewisville texas

Greetings people of Texas

For the majority of you that dont know me, my name is Sarah McGowan of the nation Lewisville Texas and I am running to become Lieutenant Governor of Texas for this trimester.

Over my nations life in Texas, Ive held a position in the Texas Representative Council since April 2017. Although it may not seem like a hard task yet I have found ways to overcome it and be successful.

Being a deputy leader is not just about being an outspoken character that gets noticed its about all the other great qualities. Words like hard working dedicated persistent and enthusiastic spring into mind these are all extremely important in becoming a good leader. I believe I have all the qualities plus more.

I am a trustworthy and honest woman who is well respected amongst all my fellow Police Officers and nations in the Region. These three qualities are valued the most all good leaders possess them. I am confident and will often set my mind on a goal and commit myself to achieving it.
As Gandhi once said: I suppose leadership at one time meant muscles; but today it means getting along with people.

Having the opportunity to become the Lieutenant Governor means a lot to me. Ever since I started here in 2017 I have watched these rolls being played and often dreamt that I would one day become involved in one of them. This week, I have the opportunity to grasp that dream the same dream I have had for the last 14 months.

The role of Lieutenant Governor is immensely important, not only for the region but for the wider community of Texas. If elected Lieutenant Governor I will proudly represent Texas in everything I do. Every vote gives me an immense amount of pride and satisfaction.

As Lieutenant Governor I will strive to guide every single one of you in this region to success continuing to set a good example to you all.

My ability does not just involve the individual but the community as a whole. I wish to get amongst the cabinet and council to build a strong foundation of leadership and Texan voice in 2018 and for the future.

2018 will be an important year for us in Texas Further consolidating our individuality. As the Lieutenant Governor I will ensure the government continues to build our profile as a Region.

If elected Lieutenant Governor I will endeavor to do Texas proud in anything and everything I do.

Thank you all for everything, good luck to Studly Penguins. I hope you all have an amazing Year.

Lewisville texas Great speech and good luck to you as well!

Lewisville texas

Greetings Texas!!!!!!!!!

It is with great pleasure that I come before you all, and humbly ask for your vote once again to return as your Lieutenant Governor. We can't believe that it has been 1,929(1,934 when polls open) days since we first stepped into this office. It has been an amazing experience, and have forged many new relationships along the way to being one of Texas' longest tenured officials. I am a dedicated member of the TDF, currently at the rank of Non Commissioned Officer, proudly serving on over 20+ missions. I have dedicated myself as a staunch defender. I have a long history of service here in Texas having been a member of the TRC and also serving as Secretary of WA Affairs. I also have authored four WA resolutions and helped countless others over the years with theirs. I have also helped spearhead the Regional response to Z-Day every year. With everyone's help Texas has always ranked at or near the top of the standings.

Once again it's been another quiet Trimester. Which isn't a bad thing, but we have been busy behind the scenes.

In the coming Trimester we would like to work with the Department of State to find a way to double the number of members of the Texas Ambassador Corps who's numbers are rather low at this point. The relationships with our Allies depend on it! I would like to see more folks volunteer to serve in the Texas Defense Force and in Homeland Security. I want to coordinate closely with the Defense Department in devising a recruitment drive and expanding the roles and function of Homeland Security. Finally I want to work with WA Affairs to get something written with Texas' name on it. Texas always was and still is a major force in International politics so it's crucial that we can get going again in this department. Texas can shape the world if we can get Texas' message, ideas, and goals communicated to the masses. We do that by writing legislation, voting, and by simply actively participating in the process. As my office is concerned we would like to possibly revive the Texas Recruitment Initiative if the current landscape will permit it.

In closing vote for us!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the necessary experience to help keep Texas safe and prospering.

Yeah I just looked at the GA forum where I lodged the same question and I found out that the SC affects non-WA nations in terms of the commending and condemning.

Going to have to use a power washer, Clorox™, and a couple months in locked down detox.

To the People of Texas,

I'm running for the TRC. I think I would be good in that job. If elected my first act will be to summon Matthew McConaughey for deprogramming, detox and generally straightening out his attitude.

So,

If I have YOUR card, and you want it, put in a Buy Offer of 0.01, telegram me, and I will sell it to you.

Just a reminder. Darth Kermit now has about 140 different Texas cards, so if you're missing YOUR card and he has it, He'll sell it to you for 0.01.

"you guys"? Since when is Kentucky a yankee state?

Hey, hey, hey, AoKY... We don't talk about that so much here in Texas.

If we get too many more Legendary Hunters, we may just have to close to borders. All these Cardcaptors and not a one named Sakura...

You know what, this game really outs your Puppets! Jeez Frisbeeteria, just how many do you have! Don't you have some Mod Stuff™ you should be doing? 😛

At least he didn't say "Use Guyz", would'a had to get a rope.

NewTexas wrote:You know what, this game really outs your Puppets! Jeez Frisbeeteria, just how many do you have!

Believe it or not, less than 20. It's the trading that's paying for everything. I keep forgetting to check my puppet loot!

And yes, we've been dealing with mod stuff all along. One nice thing about the card game, it brought some long-absent friends back into the fold ... errr, addiction. Venerable former admin SalusaSecondus has taken up residence in The Cuckoos Egg for the duration. He was offering to swap some code work for certain hard to get Legendary cards.

Lol these are all my puppets, I was just responding with the one I was currently logged into at the time. And I was referencing Texas only, not a North/South divide. Trust me lol all these puppets are named after either NC Confederate brigades or Confederate armies. I ain't no yank

Well, if you have a coder's ear, tell them we need a new page - A Leaderboard - three columns - Bank Value, Deck Value, Net Worth (Bank + Deck). Then watch the trades fly! Oh, and we need that like yesterday. :)

I think I'm getting really close to finishing a Texas deck. If there's anyone who's got what I'm looking for, I'm willing to pay above market value. I think I have all the expensive ones now, however...
